    Green coffee beans being sorted
    Mike S.

If you are a coffee roaster and live in the Madison metropolitan area, then Burman Coffee will quickly become your mecca. I've never visited their physical store, because I live a block away from Hilldale Mall, which is where Burman offers free delivery. You can order any of their very reasonably priced green beans from their website and get free shipping straight to Metcalfs (Sentry) Grocery. They have an incredible selection of green coffee beans, from all of the world's coffee growing regions. Each month they also offer sale-priced beans to their newsletter subscribers. Every coffee on their site is described and the date of the crop is listed along with roasting notes. Their dedication to fair trade and ethical workers' cooperatives is really amazing too. I've been ordering coffee from Burman Coffee for three years, and have never once had a problem or issue that I was unhappy with. They answer emails quickly, and usually have orders delivered and ready to pick up in less than 24-hours. I even got parts for my Behmor roaster through them. 5 stars for the incredible coffees and great service! About me: I've roasted coffee at home for the last 8 years and own two professional espresso machines along with two pro grinders and a lot of other equipment,.

Another sweet stop I found while traveling for work in Middleton, Wisconsin…read more I popped into Grace Coffee Co and ordered a mocha latte -- and it was so good. Smooth, rich, and exactly what I needed to power through the day. They also had a great pastry selection (the chocolate croissants looked incredible), and the space itself was cozy with a modern feel. Definitely the kind of place you could settle into for a bit or grab something quick on the go. If you're in the Middleton area and need a solid coffee stop, this one's worth checking out.

Recently moved to Wisconsin. Me and my boyfriend tried Graces as it was recommended to us. We went…read morea few times and the staff was always unwelcoming and rude, besides one employee. One particular issue we had was asking about them grinding our own personal beans. Our previous visit, we asked the employee working if we could bring in beans from our shop back home, and if they could grind it for us. The employee told us we could. We went today, and the cashier, visibly just annoyed with us all around, said they don't do that and was very short worded. So not only is most of the staff here pretty rude, they also just lied to us for no reason. On top of that, the coffee just tastes very artificial. Super disappointed as I had high hopes for this shop. I just feel uncomfortable being in that shop. Won't be coming again. :/.

Mushroom empanada is really really good. Coffee is decent. Decor is very nice…read more Edit: revisited and tried more of the menu. This place is pretty stellar Still stand by the coffee being a 4-4.5/5 (good but not enough for a special visit) but the rest of their stuff is an easy 5/5

My first time here after it used to be Just Love Coffee. Ordered an ice americano with shot of…read moresalted caramel syrup $4.85, gave the girl $20 cash and she said " okay I think I can do the change part" ( as she was trying to calculate in her head so I had to teach her how to count back change and what to give back. She commented that rhymes will not do penny's, I said " good thing it is an even amount then ". Then she made my drink and told me that it separated and she didn't know how but that she tried to stir it. The iced coffee doesn't taste exceptional but it will due. Seems that this coffee shop has some work to do as it is new. The decor is amazing and very quaint with cushions and pillows, comfy chairs both soft and wood, greenery hanging from the ceiling giving it a cafe vibe. The pastries look really good but I have hesitation on trying any. I will come back once they are more established and update my review. This is a first impression review. I want to come back and I want it to be a hit because it is a nice spot and really lovely inside. There is a huge window wall door style that will be open during nicer weather with a patio that seems really cool to sit and chat or work. I would love to see this place do well!!
