Wonderful and friendly service. The coffee and atmosphere was amazing as well. We had coffee inside because of the weather and the atmosphere made it so welcoming

amazing coffee shop! so many good seating options, great snack/food available, and decently priced drinks! Plenty of parking and the staff was so kind. The restaurant was clean and clearly well cared for.

Great experience! The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the visit even more enjoyable. While they don't offer online ordering, the service was quick and efficient. The drink options are fantastic and priced very reasonably compared to other local spots. I ordered the brown sugar iced latte with oat milk and a sprinkle of nutmeg -- it was delicious. The atmosphere at Mercies is beautiful and fun, with elegant décor and a spacious layout that makes it a great place to relax or work. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, which is a nice bonus, and parking is super easy with plenty of spots available. I will definitely be back here!

Excellent coffee and with kind and warm service. Yogurt bowl was delicious and filling. Not overly sweet. I'm not on the east side often but would make a point to stop by when I come.

Mercies Coffee is a wonderful cafe on the east side of Madison. The decor is bright and inviting, and the staff are approachable and extremely friendly! Oftentimes, cafes either excel at their drinks or their food. Mercies provided both food and drinks of phenomenal quality. Their pour over and hot latte were delicious, and we enjoyed their broccoli cheddar soup with sourdough toast/cheddar biscuit. The only downside, is that when the cafe is busy, you may not get a seat near an outlet if you're working remote and need to charge your devices.

Cute/modern coffee shop near the mall. Tons of seating available inside and outside. Huge outdoor patio with heaters available as well. I got a smoothie during my visit and it was excellent! Their whole menu looked wonderful, will definitely need to stop by again to try more things. Service was also great/very quick.

I had an exceptional turkey and bacon sandwich which came with the best chicken and rice soup I've ever had! All paired with a hot brown-sugar latte. I don't give coffee shops FIVE-STARS because of their food and drink alone so it says a lot about the ambience and staff. Thanks Mercies for an enjoyable afternoon!

Mercies was certainly a hidden gem for me! I am always over there for the Princeton Club or passing by it to go to Hobby Lobby or Target. I never really noticed it until recently. I am currently studying for my bar exam as I just graduated from UW's law school and have been wanting to take this as an opportunity to try out cafes/coffee shops in the Madison area. I live on the east side so it was very fitting I start over there. The place was SO CUTE. There was a couch area with a cute little fire pit. It was not on but I imagine it can be turned on; it seemed to be electric. They get some options from Madison Sourdough for bread and I ordered a breakfast sandwich that came with sourdough bread. It was DIVINE! It was also the first time in a long time that I got a cute little design on my coffee so I loved that. I was able to get comfortable and get some studying done for a couple of hours. It was very relaxing. The only downside I have is that I wish there was a bit larger/different selection of baked goods and breakfast meals. Maybe I am just picky though. . .

I stopped into Mercie's while on a recent trip to Madison. First of all, thank you for being open early! It should be illegal to own a coffee shop and open at 8PM or later and thankfully Mercie's opens up nice and early on weekdays and was a great early morning stop. I ordered a cup of their dark roast coffee that was delicious and also ordered one of their breakfast toasts. The toast is a thick cut of sourdough bread and is topped with peanut butter, bananas, homemade granola and a drizzle of honey. This is a fork and knife sort of toast and is absolutely dynamite. Packed with flavor and freshness, this is the sort of toast you could eat every single day and never grow tired of it. Mercie's has a great, hip vibe to it and is the kind of place that you could fire up the laptop, enjoy some coffee and get some work done. All in all, an excellent spot! One I will certainly be back to when in Madison next!

Amazing cold coffee option: peanut butter cold brew! Not overly sweet and so yummy and fun! Way to up the cold brew game, Mercies.

What drew me here was their mission statement - fighting human trafficking within Madison and the state of Wisconsin. It was clean, open and bright, and felt cozy as well (there's a fireplace if you're lucky enough to grab a seat by it!). It seems like a fantastic spot for studying or catching up with a friend. The prices are just slightly above average for some of their menu items, however, the food/drink we had was delicious.

Love the staff and owner! Nice local spot with coffee made with passion (other drinks and pastries). Great for meets up or just a place to collect your thoughts. Plenty of parking and reasonable prices. The location is cute and has a cozy vibe. Come check out a local spot on the east side of Madison.

Pistachio one was my favorite. There were many Asian ice creams. Propitious mango was a good one. There were a lot of small food places in the food hall. I tried food from a lot of different places. The food hall had a lot of seats, and was neatly maintained. It was never crowded. Kawasaki is close to the entry of Global Market. So the first time I was there, I went straight to this place. I had a Chicken katsu rice bowl. It was one of the best food I had in the food hall. Display had some very delicious and cute cakes. Next time I should try some of that. Taiwan Street has nice pho and bubble tea. I went for a pistachio milk shake, without bubbles. It was good. But I think I should have really went for a pho. They have a lots of sweets in display. I went for a peach swiss roll and a sesame ball. Both were good. From Dumpling House, I went for a chicken and mushroom dumpling and chinese chive pie. Both were good . It came steaming hot. I think I should have gone for some of their more favorite items like chive and pork dumpling. From Nice Flavor Stir Fry , I went for a sauteed sliced lamb with cumin. Generally this is a really flavorful dish which you cannot go wrong with. But it wasn't as good as I expected. Flavors were off, and the quality fo meat was not as good as I expected. Stir fry chicken mei fun was my favorite item from Bowl Bowl Rice. It came hot and was flavorful. I also had a tea leaf flavor egg. It was just $1. But it came with egg shell. I had to peel it. Egg was slightly less flavorful than I expected. Mochi donut is the main item in Glazed. There were some food items as well, but I didn't find takers for that. I went for 3 donuts - Oreo, honey dew and churro. The flavors were all interesting. May be oreo was my favorite. Donut texture was more chewy. From S&B Hmong Kitchen, I went for a fried rice from this place. It was flavorful. Cilantro and scallion on top gave a nice flavor kick. From Poké Mì, I went for a drunken noodles as my entree. It was not as good as I expected. Flavors were off. May be I should have gone for bahn mi. I haven't seen sugar cane juice anywhere else in Madison. So went for one. I thought it was just ok.

Came here on a Monday, and unfortunately, a handful of the stalls were not open. Bummer, as the Filipino joint happened to be one of the stalls. Didnt stop me from looking. All the different food stalls are on the perimeter of this place, with ample seating in the middle. This place is also connected to a market, so if you happen to need a little something extra to supplement your meal, you could get it from here, though no real prepared food, so I'm thinking more of condiments or drinks. The market itself seemed to have a fairly decent selection of Asian groceries and items, with discounted items right before the checkout lines (genius). I found myself going through the drinks for a good 5-10 minutes alone. I hope this place does well. I was here on a Monday in the summer, so hopefully this wasn't a good representation of their normal traffic, but this place was DEAD. OVERALL - if you're wanting the variety of a mall food court, but specifically with Asian choices, come check this place out! CELEBRITY RATING - Donnie Yen
