Such a cute little spot! The coffee and sandwich I got was very good. I will say it was a little pricey but overall worth it. Coffee even had a cute little surprise design!

Loved the coffee and the food and the atmosphere at this terrific place. My veggie breakfast sandwich was so good as was apparently my companions avocado toast! It was a really nice way to start the day

Cozy meets hip at Twisted Grounds. A nice blend of delicious coffee, above average food and a vibrant atmosphere. We tried this coffee haven on a Sunday morning and it certainly was bustling. Plenty of outdoor seating on a sunny morning provided the perfect setting for breakfast. Twisted Grounds has lots of events including live music every week. I was impressed with how friendly everyone was and left happy and caffeinated. Definitely a great way to start your day. I highly recommend Twisted Grounds.

First off, major props for providing a bright spot in the middle of the biggest world pandemic since 1918. Great coffee, pleasant staff (even chatted a bit about the local grade school since one of the staff was an alum) and cozy atmosphere. Tip big, they deserve it!

I just moved to the area and been eager to try Twisted Grounds, waiting for opening date (July 13). Great news was that they were worth the wait. They have a huge outdoor seating, spaces properly for social distancing. Decor cozy and bright. There are plenty of seating in the big open space. Comfy furniture trickled throughout the space along with a large loungy area. Lots of natural lighting makes it bright and welcoming. Hand sanitizers placed at all open tables, every other table closed for social distancing. Very beautiful space. I had the blended white mocha and blended dirty chai raspberry flavor (with whipped cream of course). And they were beyond perfect. Refreshing, light, not too sweet, very flavorful without over doing it. Looking forward to their food menu. Until then, I'll be back to try all the other beverages.

Awesome new shop on the east side! Stopped in Saturday morning and we were greeted immediately by friendly staff at the counter! The menu has a lot of variety. We ordered a dirty zebra (iced, white and dark chocolate, chai, and espresso) an iced mocha, both were tasty! The dirty zebra was a perfect breakfast drink, a must try! We ran into friends outside that had some good looking smoothies and breakfast sandwiches. Can't wait to visit again to try more of the menu, this is a perfect spot for a quick coffee or a relaxing nice breakfast. Thanks Twisted Grounds!

Such a cute, chill spot! There are picnic tables outside & the outdoor seating is dog-friendly! They have beer and wine as well as coffee, tea, energy drinks, ice cream, snacks, and more ! The indoor seating looks comfy. I'll definitely be back.

Sorry, $3.50 for a 12-ounce plain, black coffee is too much - pandemic, "inflation" price gouging at its best.....

We were taken to a fun room resembling a spot under a willow tree with a night sky above. Our waitress came over a few minutes later to take drink orders & questions & throughout the dinner she was excellent. Unfortunately the area was dark & hard to read the menu - I highly recommend candles on the table to make for a more intimate setting. Then we got our food. My bf ordered a po boy sandwich hoping to relive an experience he had elsewhere, but sadly he felt the sandwich just resembled that of a McDonald's fish sandwich lacking Cajun flavors. I ordered the jambalaya, which had a pretty good portion size, and was kind of tasty but went downhill as the few scraps of sausage were only on top & the flavors didn't get mixed in well with the rest of it. I recommend a white rice option. We also started getting excited about corn bread but were very disappointed as we were told they have it 'sometimes' but we missed out. I also don't understand the music selection as it sounded like a night club. I doubt we will return, which is sad as this place seems to have potential.

It's clearly designed with groups in mind, offering plenty of spacious seating that makes it perfect for gatherings and fun. Arrived right at opening (4:00 PM). While I wish someone had welcomed me when I first walked in and was looking for my party, the staff overall were very kind. Our server was especially helpful in guiding us through the menu. The flavors were fantastic across the board. The gumbo had a great taste, though I personally prefer a bit more body to it. The chimichanga was beautifully presented, like all their dishes, which easily score a 10/10 for visual appeal. It was tasty, but a bit heavy on the rice and could've used a touch more meat. Despite a few small critiques, the overall experience was enjoyable. Great ambiance, friendly service, and flavorful food make this a spot worth visiting--especially with a group!

Order at the counter for takeout or bring it over to the bar area to enjoy. I will say having it attached is a huge perk for those wishing to absorb the great vibes (and beverages) the Muskellounge has to offer. Moving to the food, I walked away unimpressed. A solid C with perhaps the exception being the biscuit in the chicken tender basket (a solid A). After hearing about their burgers, I opted for their special. Perhaps my fault but the burger was completely overdressed with flavors that overpowered the beef patty. On the other side was the chicken sandwich. Pedestrian. Rather flat and under seasoned. The chicken tenders were fried well but lacked salt. Perhaps I set the bar too high for Hank's but plenty of places in Madison to get your fix on burgers and fried chicken.

We were kind of shocked when out food was actually ready in 5 minutes like we were told, that's some efficiency! The specials for the day were a cuban and a meatball sandwich. This cuban sandwich was one of the best I've ever had and I really hope it's on their menu more! The meatball sandwich was also very tasty with a spicy giardinara to give it some extra flavor. We also had to get the waffle fries with Hanks sauce because it's just so tasty. Always a great option, especially if you can eat it next door.

We were in town and looking for a good place to eat and excited to try this joint, with a 4.4 star…read morerating. We've always had good food in Madison and even though we wanted to get home after a long day, we thought it would be worth the delay. Unfortunately, this time, it wasn't worth it. I feel like it's time and money wasted. I'll get to details, but I'm mainly basing this review on the quality of the food I received. Before getting to the food, our service was great. Our server was a bit slow considering there were only 3 tables (including us) occupied. Or it's more of a relaxed atmosphere, so she was just giving us a lot of time to look over the menu. But aside from that, she was friendly, helpful, and kind. Atmosphere is on the dark side. There are two screens to play games (golf, etc) on two corners of the building. I think there are plenty of options, but we were mainly in for food, and didn't really get much info on the games. I did ask whether they were run on a reservation basis, and the hostess (who was also our server) said yes. She didn't mention any pricing, so I'm not sure what the details on that is. Margarita special $5 This was great. Not overly sweet, and just the right amount of booze. It came in a whiskey cup rather than a margarita one. 3sheep chaos pattern on draft Price for draft beer is not cheap, and the beer was great. The glass it came in was super clean, but also warm. I think it just came out of the dishwasher... So clean, but beer glasses should be cold on principle. Wings The description says these are baked, and then fried before tossed in their sauce. The sauce is yummy. The wings are a fairly large size. But I think they forgot to fry it. The skin on the wings weren't at all crispy, but kinda mushy. The meat was well cooked, but also on the dry side. The celery sticks and carrot rings on the side were super fresh and crispy. Blind burger with side salad I ordered it done medium. It came out very well done. For a wagyu, it lacked fat content, and cooked for too long, so it was very dry. We had just hiked 4 hours at Devil's Lake and quite hungry, but I couldn't finish it. Seasoning was great though. And the side salad was also very fresh. Brussels sprouts Something I haven't done in the last 15 years... I had to ask them to redo it. It came out with underdone Brussels. Interestingly, after I asked them to heat it up more for me, it came out perfect, with the right amount of searing on all the cut sides. Overall, it feels like the kitchen was having a bad day and bad timing - wings needed to get in the fryer for longer, burger should've been out of the pan sooner, Brussels should've stayed in longer. For the prices I paid, I expect better food. Especially since the kitchen knows how to fix their stuff! It was like they put 70% into all the dishes until I spoke up. Would I go back? Nope. Not convinced that the 4.4 rating is justified for me.
