    Breakfast tacos

I got their breakfast tacos and found them very delicious, my friend got the breakfast hash which wasn't anything special and a bit expensive for what it was. Service was fast and workers were polite

We've been a fan of their tres leches cakes for years but this is the first time we stopped in for breakfast. Small place but it moves quickly. Lots of vegetarian options. Service was great. We loved everything we got and the Honduran cream was a nice side for the chilaquiles (like a slightly salty and thinner sour cream - yum!)

Cozy unassuming restaurant in Monona. Stopped in for weekend brunch with a friend who recommended the place. It was extremely busy but we were able to get a table. After deciding what to get, we went up to order and the worker who gave us menus took our order immediately. I wanted to try their Honduran options and ordered the pupusa and baleada. I also got their rose matcha latte which was super cute and tasty. The food took a bit to come out but being how busy they were, we did not mind. The food was delicious. My friend got the chilaquiles which I had a bite of and was very good. Cant wait to go back and try more of their menu.

    T.B.A. Sandwich with iced tea.

I rushed in to get a sandwich to go and ordered the T.B.A. Sandwich. What an explosion of flavor! Fresh sliced turkey, thick cut bacon with red onion and chipotle aioli added a wonderful combination of flavors. The multigrain bread was perfectly toasted. I believe I tasted a hint of cinnamon in the ice tea which was delicious. Service was friendly and quick. So glad I opted out of the nearby pizza chain my partner ordered from.

Cute place. Friendly staff. The breakfast was not great. After the meal, my daughter said "I'm disappointed. I wish we went somewhere else." My 8 year old is obsessed with crepes and gets them whenever she can. She did not enjoy the crepe filling, and the sauce was overly sweet. The chilaquiles was okay.

Food was delish, we had the breakfast tacos. Also the white sangria. But if you are using corn tortillas, you MUST double then up!!! It's my one suggestion. Also sadly, the atmosphere is mediocre, Way too bright. I hope they get a better location in the future!

I dined in for lunch on a Saturday. The place was packed. One orders food and see if a seat gets available during that time. My food took 45 minute to be ready. Fortunately I got a seat by then. Horchata was excellent. Banana soda was just ok. Baleada was my favorite breakfast item. Traditional Honduran breakfast was really good as well. Papusa was ok. I also went for a couple of pastries - guava and cheese danish and cherry danish. Both were really good.

Delicious Honduran dinner! I ordered the Spinach walnut salad with grilled chicken. My husband ordered the Quinoa Power Salad with grilled chicken. We shared a bean and cheese Pupisa and veggie taco. For dessert my husband bought a chocolate brownie. The large dinner salads were made with fresh ingredients. I really enjoyed the pears and strawberries in my salad. Nice balsamic vinaigrette. Pleasant, helpful staff. We will definitely return! Yummy!

I've been to Monona Bakery and Eatery before for their pastries and donuts. So good. I dropped in for lunch with a friend on a Friday and ordered the Plato Tipico. I got it with chickens and plantains. Also ordered a pupusa and tres leches cake. So good. So much leftover for another meal. Everything was fresh and made to order. Highly recommend. I'm excited to go back and try more dishes.

Excellent breakfast place. Delicious entrees; nicely plated. Cozy and casual. Order at the counter and find a table.

Let me start by saying I used to love this place and its food and staff, within a year it's at the worst I've ever seen it! This establishment is very filthy and very run down it needs an upgrade desperately. Seating yea good luck they take your order without telling you there's no seating and will not be any for at least 20minutes , you finally get your table and it's sit as soon as you see one open don't wait to be seated or think because you got there before others your next for a table nope it's every person for themselves if you don't jump onto the first dirty table you see you'll loose it to someone else theres no I'm in line for table . After you get your dirty table if you don't ask for it to be cleaned they won't! Food well one chilaquiles plate with champurrado, a plate with bacon and two pancakes cheap bottled orange juice, another plate with two scrambled eggs sausage links and French toast with a cheap bottled orange juice comes out too $72 and then some . The wait for plates to arrive between 20-30 minutes, when the chilaquiles arrived the eggs were wrong from over easy to scrambled I mentioned it to the mean waitress who said well it's what it said I had to tell her well its definitely not what I asked for so grumpy pants to them back , the pancake plate came with strawberries on the side the pancakes were dried from over cooking the strawberries half rotten half bruised the bacon burnt to an extra crisp, the French toast plate well not any better the French toast was black burnt yet raw inside the sausage links dried almost burnt the scrambled eggs also dried over cooked. The chilaquiles plate is give it a 2 out of 10 10 being good 1 being bad. The avocado on the chilaquiles had lots of black on it bruised or old. I'm sorry to have to say this of a place we used to really enjoy ! Some advice to the owner check on your cooks check the place out see how it's doing at all different times you might notice this yourself and to the people who go there and sit for 20minutes an hour after you eat your food be mindful of others who are standing waiting for a table we noticed a lady walk in with a baby she asked for a slice of pie they sold it to her alright but didn't mention to her there was no seats available she stood with her baby and pie while people sat and simply chatted on an empty table , maybe put up a sign asking patrons who finish their meals if they could please give the table to the next person in line when all tables are taken . Thank you for reading my yelps I will continue to inform you when something is great and definitely when something is bad/horrible!

Every detail on the walls, in the décor, and throughout the space reflects the cultural richness and folklore of our country. It was, without question, an emotional experience filled with wonderful memories. Tasting a liver with onions that instantly took me back to the Colombian Caribbean was unforgettable. The lulo, passion fruit, and mango juices were spectacular. The garlic-flavored rice, the lentils cooked to perfection, and the grandmother-style salad... in short, the food was simply outstanding. The service provided by Emily (Ecuador), Juan (Bucaramanga) , and María José (Bogotá) was a perfect 10 out of 10. I don't regret for a second having driven all the way from Chicago to Milwaukee (3 hours) just to visit this restaurant. I would return one hundred times over; especially because here you can truly feel the flavor, the energy, and the heart of Colombia all in one place.

Our server was late, never checked up on us, and we got our food before our drinks. We had to request to get checked out because our server never came back. While paying, the person checking us out didn't say there was an 18% charge already included for tip until after we had clicked our selection to tip them. Place is cute, very spacious. Tl;dr, Service was not good, but food was decent.

Alas, we have so few, and I'm so excited this concept opened! I came on a fall/winter evening, but definitely would love to come back in sunny outdoor weather. On the top floor of the Moxy hotel, Atico serves up a really lovely array of Mexican and Mexican-themed foods. They've got some really elevated entree options, but also have a host of street tacos. While their menu is a bit pricey (some were actually outrageous), the happy hour specials they had listed on the table were a great deal -- definitely would love to come back here for happy hour. I ordered 2 al pastor street tacos and a carne asada street taco. They're nicely sized and are decently full with meat. Onion and cilantro tops them off just like a street taco should be. I thought they were pretty tasty. I didn't love that the pineapple in the al pastor was chopped on top and was served cold (the pineapple, not the meat), but I still ate every ounce of both my tacos, so take my complaint with a grain of salt. My margarita was also good, I appreciated that they were willing to make it "up" instead of "on the rocks." Our server was very accommodating and able to answer questions. Overall, I don't know that the food is worth the price, but it would definitely be worth it on a rare occasion to enjoy the rooftop ambiance. The happy hour also solves for this conundrum. So, I'd certainly like to be back to Atico.
