Updates!!!! They started serving their breakfast, and it's delicious. The same as the other locations, they had a couple more items here. I'm so excited to have them around the corner! We're fans of Barnaby's, especially Baby Barnaby's and we decided to give this location another shot. Unfortunately, they failed again. Our food was cold, not just one dish but all 4. We waited for coffee that never arrived, we were informed that a new pot was brewing but that was before our meal arrived and it still nothing appeared after except the check. I understand that they may be under staffed at this time, if that's the case they definitely need to spread the time between seating parties. I would have preferred a wait over what we got. This was our third time at this location and they're still having the same issues we experienced back in October. Barnaby's hasn't lost our patronage completely we're just not coming back tl this location. read more

I usually love barnabys but I think the last dish ruined it for me, Who TF puts spaghetti sauce on meatloaf?!!! It literally tasted like canned sauce too. Meatloaf itself lacked flavor and tasted as if it was straight frozen meatballs from their back freezer mashed together only LESS flavorful. This should not be called meatloaf on your menu it should be called noodleless spaghetti. So disappointed. Won't be returning here again Cobb salad was good tho at least. Saved my 40$ meal... threw out the meatloaf. What a waste read more

This is a very cute, brunch cafe that allows you to brings your pup! I love the set up and how friendly our server was. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get his name, but he was wearing glasses, dark hair, Caucasian, a little thicker set, and was a excellent server! I ordered the grilled salmon filet with a side of broccoli and my boyfriend ordered the chicken La Jolla. I ordered the strawberry lemonade which I would go back for! The price per dish here is a great price between 10-17 for the flavor and taste! 5 stars! I love how people are bringing a variety of dogs, the outside jenga game, and the overall experience. I got to have a great doggy date with my noodle on the patio! It was perfect. They had water for him and a doggy Ice cream sundae. The staff was very friendly and attentive and their version of a torta was amazing. I'm so glad they have this new location Closer to my house. I plan on taking my little noodle with me up there for another Sunday brunch. read more

The newest addition to the Barnaby's empire. We ordered Hawaiian pork chop plate and Danish baby back plate. The three pork chops and sides were excellent as always. The oven cooked whole rack ribs were good. It was tender and the BBQ sauce was tasty. But I missed the smoke infused flavor of true Texas BBQ. But that was not Barnaby's fault, just my own personal preference. Table service was attentive even though the place was packed. All the employees were very friendly. Return visit is on the calendar especially since plenty of parking spaces are available at this strip center location. read more

Nice American cafe with a good menu and friendly staff. There's a good amount of healthy items on the menu like falafel burgers if your worried about greasy American food. Interior is modern and clean. They do have beer and wine although it's such a limited selection is nearly not even worth mentioning. There is an outdoor patio which is more like just tables and chairs on the sidewalk. But it's covered and probably makes for a good place to sit during nice weather. Overall I have no reason not to give them all the stars. read more

Super-friendly waitstaff and great location! The space is nice, upscale and lots of ambiance. Can't wait for them to add splashes of color and/or murals on the inside, just like their other locations. They're BYOB only for now, but there is a liquor store conveniently located next door, not to mention Rice Epicurean Market. It's terrific to have a second location outside of Loop 610. BEST PIZZA IN HOUSTON! PIZZA PIZZA PIZZA. I'm quite disappointed there is not a lot of buzz about this locations secret menu. Prior to barnabys this space used to be la vista, an iconic Italian restaurant. When barnabys took over they decided to keep the beautiful master constructed pizza oven. Go in and take a look! Not only is it cool that they kept a great part of the old Italian restaurant, but the pizza they turn out is one of the best in the city IMHO. it's not deep dish, it's not New York style or napolean, but it is hands down the best of the standard pizza style. Toppings are abundant and super fresh. Pepperonis are epic and the veggie is also out of this world (I know who raves about veggie??) Go here and get a half veggie half pepperoni pizza and trust me your in for a ticket to flavor town. read more

I had a club sandwich and fries, but the fries were so limp that I had to re-hear them in my air fryer. The cake is good. The pizza is, dare I say, way too cheesy. My first time here at Barnaby's and the feedback I heard about this place was correct, worth it. The person taking care of us was friendly and VERY attentive to our table but not overbearing. I ordered the Baby back ribs and they had the right balance of savory and sweet with a little heat. Towards the end of my meal I did notice I had a challenge with the amount of sweetness i was tasting in my ribs but this could be due to the strawberry lemonade I had (TASTY but sweet, I did have 2 glasses). We love to eat at Barnaby's, but they seem to have issues baking their chocolate chip cookies. Today we did pickup- the meat lasagna and the Cesar salad w chicken were really good. However, we ordered a few of their chocolate chip cookies, and they were burned, and over done. The bottoms were partially charred and dark brown on top- not edible. I'm not sure who thought it was ok to sell these? This was the second time we've had an issue with burned cookies there. Love the entree's etc, but don't recommend dessert. read more

Today I ordered lunch for our office as we are very close to this restaurant in the Chase San Felipe Plaza building. I order quite frequently and pick it up myself, but today had to have it delivered because my car was being repaired. The site I used was Door Dash and it was difficult to make ANY modifications or add simple things like chicken to a salad. So I called Barnaby's and tried to explain the situation and let them know that. The waiter i spoke to refused to add chicken to my boss's salad over a $2.00 difference, he told me I had to contact Door Dash, which is nearly impossible to do in time. I also ordered utensils and received none. I called again and spoke to a new person and explained everything again, but basically there is nothing going to be done. Since I am in charge of ordering, you can bet I'll find a new place for us!! read more

First time coming to this place and it would of been a 5 star if the service was better. When we got there the booth we wanted to sit in the seats were dirty. They were cleaned, we sat down and there was no warm greeting or friendliness on the staffs end. Our food was GREAT super tasty !! And It was out in a timely manner. The new decor and atmosphere at the Fountain View location is modern, welcoming, clean, and beautifully done! The staff is super accommodating whether I've decided to dine in, take out, or order through a delivery service. They've been 100% on point with every order to date! They've done a great job working through COVID to make food delivery comfortable as well. They vacuum seal the delivery bag so that you know your food hasn't been touched by anyone outside of their kitchen. Barnaby's on Fountain View is one of my go-to favorites. Dont bother! Terrible service. We walked in and were told to find our own seat. No big deal except they basically didn't pay any attention to us. Waiter finally came by and we asked for a minute to review the menu as we had never been here. He left and never came back. Mind you there were only about 5 families eating in there at the time. I literally sat there and watched staff member by staff member walk by us never asking if we needed anything...even the person I assume was the manager. Funny thing is...as I was waiting for someone to wait on us... I was reading other reviews on yelp and read where someone else had just about the exact same experience we were having. This is the nicest Barnaby's with the same great food and service. Ordered the Impossible burger with guacamole & cheese and a chicken Mediterranean salad without cheese. The food came out quickly and exactly as ordered. The Impossible burger was amazing!! Although the burger is plant based, it looks and tastes like beef! As always, the salad is huge, even the smaller version. A great place for lunch or dinner. Can't wait to try their pizza! I have been back a couple of times... ordered the veggie pizza with sausage, the Bacon & Brussels Sprout pizza, Chicken Mill Valley and the Chicken Sausalito Crunch salad. First time trying Barnaby's and since it's right around the corner, we went for it. I got the bacon cheeseburger with fries. I had pepper jack put on it instead of cheddar as a personal preference. Burger tasted very fresh, fresh toppings, not too much mayo, and the bun was soft. Bun was nothing special, just a standard bun but not bad. Now the fries, the fries were some of the best I've ever had! It's tough to keep them fresh and hot on a to go order but they separately bagged them and managed to do it.
