    Elkosaurus Burger for hubbs
    Amanda G.

We came here for dinner because it has been a while since we've been to a Bareburger and the family wanted to go back. We've always gone to the location in Hartsdale but now that we live in the Bronx again, the Rye location was closer so we decided to try them out. They're located in a very walkable area with many restaurants. We arrived about an hour before closing and the were completely empty which I found odd because so many other restaurants were bustling. We found parking right in front and were greeted upon entry, and directed to sit anywhere we pleased. We looked over the menu and LeAnn came over to take our drink orders. Our drinks came our pretty quickly and they were really good. Hubby and I had their version of a paloma, my so bad a really nice frozen coconut drink and the kiddo had a Honest fruit punch. We ordered some apps and our food, which took no time to come out. Our burgers came out really quickly. Unfortunately, my daughter's food and our appetizers came out after our mains. One thing I wish that kitchen would realize, would be to send out the kid's food with the appetizers, or just first. Kids can get very grumpy when they're waiting for their food and everyone else has theirs. We didn't begin eating until her food hit the table. Grub Rundown: Custom wagyu burger - both me and my son ordered wagyu patties with our own customizations. The flavor was OK but the patties were not cooked to the temperature we requested. Their lighting was pretty dine and I didn't realize how under they were until I took a picture. They weren't pink. They were red and a bit bloody. Since they were close to closing, I just tried to eat mine but the texture was not something I could get over. My son ate half of his burger. Elkosaurus - hubby ordered this burger medium, and his came out the proper temperature. He was happy with his choice. Kids grizzly with cheese - we ordered the beef burger with cheese for our Little. It was also ordered medium and came out correctly. She enjoyed her meal. She opted for onion rings on the side. Going Back To Cauli - these cauliflower bites were really good but they needed a sauce for dipping. I got their buttermilk ranch and it was a great pairing. Onion Rings - they're huge and flavorful. I wish they had tartar sauce to eat with this but the buttermilk ranch worked for the rings also. When we were finishing up and requested togo boxes, I mentioned that my burger was really under. I told LeAnn that since it was late, I figured I'd try to just eat it but the more I did, the texture was turning me off, but I would take it home anyway. She took my burger off the bill which wasn't necessary but certainly appreciated. She even gave our kiddo a little cup of chocolate ice cream with sprinkles on the house because I promised her some ice-cream but thought it was too late to order it. LeAnn definitely turned around my experience. After bringing my food home and reheating it, I was able to enjoy the rest of my burger. Had it been earlier in the evening, I would have mentioned my displeasure with the temperature. I've had wagyu plenty of time in steak form, and I will order that mid-rare to medium, depending on the cut. I will never had a well done or rare steak, but will order different cuts either medium or mid-rare. However, when it comes a to burger, it HAS to be medium in temperature because the texture of the broud beef when it's rarer, is a complete turn-off for me. Despite my burger mishap, we will likely head back to Bareburger in Rye for a meal.

Service was amazing. The order made me feel like I met Jesus himself. So juicy and delicious. I ordered the steak sandwich. The spicy one. But it was very spicy so they don't lie.I love the decoration and the vibe. The wings I ordered were one on the best I've ever had. I hate that I live in Houston other wise I'd enjoy being 300lbs eating there every day. I loved this place!

We were surprised at how empty it was (though it was late when we arrived), but we were accommodated well. It wasn't our first time at a Bareburger, and the food was good, as was the service; unfortunately, our Wagyu blend was under (we ordered medium, it came medium-rare). The temperature is my only real criticism here-otherwise, the flavor was great, as usual.

If you are craving a burger definitely go here. I went late on a Sunday and it was perfect. The bun to patty ratio was amazing, as were the flavors. It was exactly what i had wanted. Packaging for to go is newt and tidy to eat on the run. Friendly and helpful staff!

Really good burgers. They serve organic burgers, and you can definitely taste the difference from other franchised burger places. Plenty of customization options, as well as vegan options. Majority, if not all, ingredients are organic. One con is that you have to order fries separately. Definitely more on the pricier side for burgers. Very aesthetic wooden + string lights interior, good for casual lunch or dinner with friends for all age groups.

The soup was delicious and isn't on the regular menu but instead a special item. We tried the Cuban sandwich and the Steak sandwich both with the sweet potato fries. The sandwiches and fries were delicious. The star of the show was the beer battered pickles. OMG...so good. This place is found in a cute little neighborhood. The bar looked like it was full of regulars. The staff were very friendly. This hidden gem is a must try!

As for the food , I had the fried chicken sandwich and I was not disappointed . Absolutely delicious. My first time having fried pickles and I am hooked . Collard greens delicious . Fried calamari cooked to perfection. My old-fashioned drink was enjoyable . If I'm knit picking, I would say it could've been a little more balanced, but again, not disappointed. Good food, great ambience and the place just had a very welcoming and warm feeling what more could a customer want? This is definitely a place I'll be returning too and I strongly recommend anyone to give them a try and see for yourself. Restaurants are such a tough business, but this place gets it and they deserve all the success that may comes their way.

Along with the course there are tennis courts, a swimming pool, and club house. Our dining experience was a delight. We started with the edamame & roasted beet hummus, which was fresh and flavorful - we couldn't get enough of it. We also ordered firecracker shrimp that had great flavor. For the main course we ordered the summer squash bucatini, grilled filet mignon, mahi mahi kabobs, and sea bass. The summer squash bucatini was fresh, light, and flavorful - a great summer pasta. The grilled filet mignon was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. The mahi mahi kabobs were cooked beautifully on top of fresh greens, quinoa, and pickled onions. The sea bass was wrapped in banana leaves and steamed with julianne vegetable and Himalayan rice - exquisite! For dessert, we indulged in the raspberry sorbet, the brownie sundae, and the midnight mousse cake. Each dessert was a sweet ending to an already impressive meal. The ice cream in the sundae was substituted with raspberry sorbet topped with sprinkles, delicious! The staff is friendly, personable, and attentive - we were taken great care of! We did notice that the online menu did not reflect the menu given to us in person; however, that may be due to introducing items that will be on the fall menu. It also cleared out early for a Saturday evening, we think live music would have been a great addition. Overall, we had an amazing day spent at the club and a great meal to end the day. We look forward to returning!

The staff were nice young kids, but the place was literally filthy disgusting. Garbage bins filled to the rim. Ketchup stains on counters and floor. Napkins in the floor. Behind the counter and kitchen area were visually FILTHY with all sorts of uncooked stepped on fries and other food particles and dirt scattered all over the floor. Got the Korean boneless chicken and cheese fries with cheese sauce on the side. The chicken pieces were literally swimming in sauce (visually and taste wise unappealing and not appetizing). The fries were stale and dry. I ate a few pieces forcefully but couldn't continue. Threw it all in the garbage. Money down the drain. Ironically the cleanest part of the store was the bathroom. I hope they clean it up.
