I have always been a fan of bareburger, so I was thrilled to learn that they also cater! We had our company event catered by them and it was a huge hit!!! Everyone raved about the food, especially the crocs, but it went beyond taste. We ordered several different types of sliders, all of which were individually wrapped for an amazing presentation... not to mention the delicious sauces they included for us. Awesome food! Had an elk burger!! So juicy!! A little expensive but well worth it! The service was great.. I actually went on a day time date there or a lunch date there because myself and my friend love burgers. I also had a bison burger. It's a little tougher then elk but just as good. I ate here a few nights ago with someone else. They totally messed-up my order. They served us burgers without fries and rings that we ordered. 2/3 of our burger was gone and the waiter or cook forgot to process our side order. Asked to speak with the manager. Manager offered fries to go? So what am i supposed to do with cold fries without a burger? Also, the staff was cursing while speaking to each other about BDSM. Totally, not appropriate! Went back after a couple years and I have to say that the food has improved greatly. I'm a vegetarian and they have more veggie options now. I got the black bean burger and it was great. It had good, interesting flavors and everything tasted fresh. I came with my dad who is definitely not a vegetarian and he enjoyed his beef burger a lot too. Absolutely disgusted. I ordered a bison burger which was NOT cooked at all the bison was basically mooing at me when i bite into it. My veggie burger tasted like a dirty sock. The decor is really nice and def. complements the theme. The food is good but very overpriced. I love the idea of picking out your protein and toppings, but the majority of the menu items are just not good for you. As a vegetarian, I hesitated to try their veggie burger...so many places just don't have what it takes to do it right. This place proved me wrong...search no more! Their California veggie, with a brioche bun - amazing!! Just the right balance of ingredients - sharp cheddar, avocado, lettuce, tomato, red onion and cilantro lime dressing. Not one element overpowers the others - total harmony in your mouth. No 'frozen' burger or 'stale' bread taste. Their fresh cut french fries are really good also, especially the assortment of sauces available - spicy chipotle mayo, chipotle ketchup, peppercorn steak sauce and pesto mayo to name a few. These folks managed to keep up their consistent good quality even on a late Sunday at 10:30 pm (had the late munchies that night). Got a fresh burger as if it were midday. "Consistent" good quality... hard to come by these days. I hope these folks keep the quality up... strong start... let's keep up the momentum! Came here with a group of 8, here is how it went down. Pros: -Comfortable seating -Western style decor -Decent service -Food came out fairly quickly -Fresh food (burgers, fries, onion rings..) -Tasty burgers Cons: -BURGERS: Pretty basic. Bread was a nice texture, but the bottom bun could be thicker.. Maybe like an inch thicker. To give you an idea the bottom bun was as thick as an iPhone charging cable. So that makes it difficult if you want to pick up your burger and not eat it with a fork and knife. The burger I went with was a Western Bison Burger, the meat was cooked nicely medium rare. However they are nothing special, plated nicely with a good presentation but beyond that they are your average diner/American Style burger. -FRIES/ONION RINGS: Sweet potato fries were nicely fried, not soggy or soft but pretty basic, and onion rings were nice and thick. Came with a variety of sauces, but you can't beat some plain old ketchup. Nothing special. -PRICE: Pretty pricey and expensive. Bill came to close to $30. For the price I'd expect a bigger burger and something that is more like a meal, rather than a snack... Would I come back? Don't think so. This would be something different if you like to try some different burgers and meats as they have a variety of "exotic" meats for an additional charge. But these meats are actually pretty common, maybe just not in NY. If you are looking for a cheap place for fill yourself up and not burn your wallet this would not be one of my recommendations. Way too hyped up. Food was ok. The fries were soggy and not very tasty. The burgers themselves were very disappointing. My wife and I ordered a Bison burger and an Elk burger. We made it our own way and we were both shocked at how bland the meat was and how there was no seasoning in the meat. Very disappointing to say the least. Service was incredible and the place was packed but we still got all our food quickly. The server was great too, I believe her name was Rose or Rosie. Some of the things it could fix are the seasoning on the burgers could be better, it just lacks that punch of flavor you expect in a good burger. Their milkshakes are pretty good but they could have a better variety. The venue itself is not bad but for some reason it's always cold in there. And the stuff could be a little more attentive! Very cute and lovely place. I really love their concept which is to serve healthy, natural and organic food. So whenever I want to have some burger or want some meat, I visit this restaurant regularly. Most of the foods are not heavy. I usually order "build my burger" made with turkey, some vegetables rapped with leaves. Sometimes I order socal which is one of their signature burgers, it also very good. And also I order natural soda or banana shake, both are very tasty!! During the week day they also serve lunch special which comes with burger, drinks and salad or fried potatoes. It costs $14, really good portion. But lunch special only for dinners not for takeout or delivery. I highly recommend this place. read more

We came on a weeknight, only a few people filling the other tables. The ...hostess/waitress didn't greet us, we had to greet her. We sat down to a dirty table which was cleaned after we asked. We waited longer than usual to be offered a drink. With more than enough time to decide what to order, once we were able to, we were given our brussel sprouts quickly but with no utensils or napkins. I had to get up and walk over to the waitstaff standing around to ask for utensils and napkins. And no apology just an OK. Also we still hadn't gotten our lemonades. Which by the way, when we got them were terrible. We questioned if they had vodka in them. It was a weak fizzed "lemon"ade. Once we got our burgers, one made to order and the other ordered from the menu, I was beyond disappointed. I ordered the "Standard Burger" beef, american, carmelized onions, dill pickles, special sauce. My burger had NO sauce on it. The cheese was basically melted away and what was left was a quarter of my burger with cheese and maybe 5 chopped up carmelized onions with three pickles. When I told the waitress I had no sauce. she said oh I thought you said no sauce. I said no I just asked what special sauce was, that's all. She brings me the sauce and I told her I got no onions either. Someone else came over, maybe a manager ? And said well....they cook the cheese and onions together so it slides off. I said OK so it's ok that I just didnt get any onions because thats how they cooked it ? Burgers are supposed to be full of the ingredients you order with them. He said ok you're right and brought me onions. Why did he even argue in the first place ? Why does a cook send to a table a VERY simple burger with 75% of the ingredients missing? My dinner dates burger was fine except for the dime size amount of sauce on their burger so we had to request extra. For a restaurant with the word burger in its title, it was very disappointing burgers and service was just horrible. I don't know if they didnt care or what but there was no urgency, no interest, it took so long to just get through the meal. We had to ask for our check we had to ask for everything. No interest in making sure we had a good dining experience. Very very very disappointing. read more
