I just ate the Philly cheesesteak from here with no lettuce (out of caution of the cyclospora parasite), but the sandwich was really good. The meat was tender, juicy, flavorful, it had the right amount of cheese, a tiny bit of mayo which sorta melted into the provolone, peppers, onions, mushrooms and raw tomato. I ate the whole thing, I'm pregnant and it really hit the spot. The only criticism I could give the sandwich is that it could have had more meat on it, the ends were a little bare. Next time, I'll order extra steak. The fries were also really good, surprisingly so. It took me like 20 mins to sit down and eat it after picking it up and Jo thinking was soggy. I ordered through Uber Eats and it came with free mozzarella sticks which were not great- I wasn't expecting them to be. In the future, even if they're free, id skip them. There's a parking lot, it's in a plaza, so that makes it convenient af, given it is in flushing. Since I placed the order online for takeout, I can't really speak to the service or ambience, but it looked clean and there were people eating in, and several available tables. The girl at the register was nice. 10/10. Honestly this location is overall really good. Staff - I'm not sure about the staff from years ago, but I've been here a handful of times the past year and every interaction has been good. Whenever they hand off food to customers, they have a smile and seem happy to give you your order. They work really fast in my opinion, maybe its because I only order cheesesteaks and its easier to cook than wings, but I've never had to wait more than 3 minutes before they tell me my order is ready. Food - Yesterday, I got the Chicken California Cheesesteak. The bread was toasted to perfection; crunchy and warm. The toppings all seem satisfyingly fresh. My favorite sandwiches are the chicken Philly and chicken Cali. Sometimes the sandwich is a bit messy in terms of presentation, but it always tastes great to me. I've tried the Philly cheesesteak which was also pretty good, but a little bit greasy, I prefer the sandwiches with chicken instead. The fries are okay, they're not super crispy like I prefer but they're not super dry like some places. They put a lot of cheese on it if you order cheese fries, if that's your thing. It's a bit too much for me personally, but my partner loves it. I am not a fan of the lemon pepper flavored wings, though! Mall-style food that's a tiny step above the Steak-umm sandwiches we used to eat when I was a kid. The large cheesesteak in my photos cost $10.49 and if it wasn't for the pickles and cheese, the sandwich would have had no flavor at all. Is it possible for "steak" to be so flavorless? The plhilly steak was thinly sliced added with provolone cheese, lettucen tomato, pickle and mayonaise if you want all toppings. I just wish they would have given more meat and yhe fries were good but could have been crispier. We ordered the combo which included your choice of chicken or regular Philly steak, a four piece boneless chicken, regular fries and a drink.
