Neat old fashion dining stools.

Had unche here 3 X's during a recent visit to Flushing (I was at a nearby Airbnb, to the curious). All my meals were average, not well seasoned and as noted on one of my photos the guacamole burger (which I misguidedly thought would be good, great actually, as a sign is posted on the diner's door it's one of its "daily specials") I not only didn't think was great it was too greasy, not flavorful & if that's not enough overpriced at $12.95. Only consistently good thingI had here were my coffee, which I thought was really well made & the waiters. They were very nice. Unfortunately that said though the fries were okay I didn't think they were anything special as they seemed like they were from frozen packaging, which can ALWAYS be purchased at just about any American supermarket. I just can't recommend this old style eatery. Sorry.

Its been decades since we've been to this diner. We used to come here a lot for breakfast but I think it was called by another name. I ordered the mushroom burger deluxe and my daughter ordered the avocado burger deluxe. She said that her burger was good as were the fries. My hamburger was cooked perfectly and was juicy. The fries were perfectly as were the onion rings. We did have to ask for coleslaw and pickle that was supposed to come with the deluxe burger platters. This is your basic NYC (in queens) diner food, no frills just ordinary burgers and fries but that's what my daughter wanted..."diner food". The only issue was that they only accept cash but that's not displayed anywhere in the diner, not even near the register. My daughter wanted to use her debit or credit card but the waitress said "cash only". She's lucky that I had cash on me this time, lol I always start my reviews with 4 stars then upgrade or downgrade according to service and food. I gave this diner 3 stars because they didn't have a sign stating they only accepted cash only

Way too watery.

Leftover muffin and cold small coffee is 6 bucks. I like supporting local businesses but never again here

Great breakfast at this true neighborhood diner. Seems family owned. Good service and I'd go back. Reminded me of Flushing's better days.

I found out that they have a parking lot with valet parking. I don't know if the valet parking is mandatory or you can park your own car. We received exceptional service today. The greeting was warm, our waiter was patient and friendly and Fernando, (the person that brings you water, tea, or coffee when you are seated), was exceptional. He created a relaxing environment all around. He was the first to meet us at the table and the last. Fernando is a peoples person and an asset to this diner. He's an influencer, when I come back, it will be because of the interaction with Fernando! I had the heart healthy wrap with I found to be flavorless. Not enjoyable at all but I'm not a connoisseur of eating heart healthy omelettes or wraps. I also had the homefries which was supposed to have onions. I didn't see any nor did I taste any but it was delicious. It was crispy and very delicious. I also had the turkey sausage. Now I am a connoisseur of turkey sausages. These sausage were very fresh and I have yet to taste any turkey sausages like these. Hands down uncomfortable. So I can add this diner to collection of preferred diners.

Wow I had another excellent experience here at the Neptune Diner…read more Started off with their Delicious Greek Lemon Soup which is Always awesome and then had the most delicious burger with lot's of cheese and fried onions. What was extra special this time was the fact then when I ordered my burger well done. This time it came out well done. Last time here my well done burger had pink in it. This has to be due to our waiter Peter was was awesome from the start. Great personality and vibe. Excellent food suggestions and Amazing customer service skills. Peter made our experience here exta special

I remember coming to this place in its previous iteration (think it was called Jackson Hole)..and was excited to be trying a new spot (at least it was new to us!) I ordered my chicken souvlaki platter, but asked them to hold the fries (and just add extra salad). Others at the table had the chicken avocado club sandwich and a BLT (no tomato). Everything arrived very quickly....super hot and fresh. The food was excellent! My souvlaki was cooked perfectly and the giant chunk of feta on top of the salad was delightful. I probably should've asked them to hold the pita, but I did indulge in most of it. The tzatziki sauce was also just right. Nice to know that there's another good diner to choose from in the old hood!

We were also intrigued to try the sangria that yelp raved about. We got a pitcher! It did NOT disappoint. It was a decent size pitcher for the price. Roza came to us and asked if we liked it and told us it was her recipe. No sugar ,No soda .It was tasty, thick full of fruit and definitely had liquor because I left with a buzz She also brought out the rosè for us to try pretty good too very refreshing will definitely do that one in warmer weather. I got the Dbar burger it was good but so big I didn't finish it all. My husband got the rib eye burger. He liked it but it was a little to greasy for him he didn't finish it. My 13 year old wanted breakfast. It was not in the menu but we figured we ask since it is a diner. She got pancakes with fruit and scrambled eggs. My youngest daughter got from the kids menu grilled cheese with fruit she enjoyed it so much we had to order another. Both girls for the marshmallow milkshake they LOVED it! For appetizers we got calamari good but could've used a little more breading. Also got chips with guacamole and honestly for a diner it was delicious. Everyone was friendly. Roza knew she had a bday past since we conversed for a bit and suggested we can sing her happy bday and asked what she liked I told her chocolate cake. They asked for the correct spelling of her name which I thought was sweet. Anyway the staff came out and sang with us super cool. Even the bathrooms are really clean. It was a great experience will definitely come back.I must be honest it's a hit pricey. The price for the pancakes with eggs was $23 when we saw the bill I was a little surprised. Kids' meals are $13 and I thought we were getting the cake (free, lol) since I technically didn't suggest it. It was $12 for a slice. But overall it was a pleasure she even gave us a sample of vodka with lemon and ginger which was actually good and helps settle the stomach.
