My first time to Barcuso my first impression they prioritize the reserved and private events. so why are you open??? I find this uncomfortable and inconvenient. i don't think people should have to be at the bar of you have reserved the whole patio. I felt that my party had to eat fast in order to accommodate the incoming customers. This is not the way a business should be ran. First time here.. had such high hopes. We were not greeted at all. Was never asked what we would like to drink. I ended up having to ask for a drink probably 10-15 minutes later. We were the only ones in there at that time. Had to keep asking to order things , no one ever came over to ask if we wanted drinks or food ect.. ended up ordering a Caprese salad which was great. Nice and fresh. Also ordered a pizza ($25) which was good but a little overpriced. Drinks were good. Just wish they had a little more hospitality. Be more attentive to your customers. read more

Went on a Sunday and only saw two people working. Was not greeted when my bf and I walked in. My bf had to walk up to the bar to ask where we could be seated. Host said he'd give us a menu "in a bit" so we waited for about more than 10 mins until I walked up myself to grab a menu. It was busy for a Sunday which we already knew the service already going to take long so we just got up and left. * Long post ahead, sorry * My friend and I came here on a Friday evening around 6:30/7pm. We went outside to pick a seat in the patio area. There were many options, as there weren't too many people there yet. We sat down and were looking around for any waiters/waitresses and we couldn't spot anyone that looked like they worked there. After about 10 mins, I waved down one of the waitresses to come for our drink order. She came to our table and didn't even say "hi/welcome, what can i get you two?" Nothing, just like I was bothering her...I asked her if we can order drinks. Told her what we wanted and she just said "OK" and walked away. Ok...probably 20 mins went by and finally our drinks arrived. They just put it on the table and walked away. Didn't ask if we wanted to order food or needed something else. About 15 mins went by, we notice again nobody is approaching us to ask if we are ok or needed anything. I waved down the waitress again and asked "Can we order food?" We told her what we wanted and she again just said "OK" and walked away. Another 20 mins go by and the pizza arrived. It was delicious. We ate and were ready for the check. Waved down the waitress, asked for the check And then, you guessed it, time goes by and no check...nobody approaches. Like WTF, come on?! There was another waitress who we flagged down and asked about the check again. More time went by We stood up frustrated and were ready to walk out at this point and pay inside, because they clearly didn't care about us. No attentiveness from the staff, no apologies for constantly making us wait and simply just asking "are you ok?" When they walk by the table. Finally we saw the owner of the bar and he noticed we were standing up. Asked if he could get us anything, we stated we just want the check to pay and leave at this point we are really frustrated and have been constantly waiting around. He apologized and said don't worry about the check, dinner is on me. We said no we don't want to do that, we just want to pay and go home. He insisted on covering our check and that he will have a talk with his staff. We appreciated him doing that, which he didn't need to at all. I saw another review similar to mine with the same complaints, so I'm sure this has happened to many people who have gone here. But all in all, I will not go back anytime soon. read more

Well, for this place to survive they're gonna need to step it up. For $30 a pizza they should be ashamed. Small kitchen with no room to work. Small pizza oven and taste does not match the price. We've seen bar patrons go unserved the last few times we were here, but thought we'd try it ourselves for some reason. When we sat down, the bartender was washing dishes. We made eye contact a few times, but were never greeted or even asked what we'd pay money for. 5 minutes later, 2 other bartenders joined and the 3 got to work making drinks. After 15 minutes of being ignored, we left. No one noticed us sit down, no one noticed us sitting there for 15 minutes, and no one even noticed us leave.
