Popped by here for my 6 millionth pizza review in Upland, got me a pepperoni pie with some spaghetti and sausage on the side. Let's start with the spaghetti, had loads of cheese and honestly the sauce had a distinct flavor I'm not used to in spaghetti. I wasn't sure if I really liked what I was tasting, the sausage was mid quality so overall I wasn't a huge fan of the spaghetti. The NY style pizza on the other hand, slightly sweet taste, different, but quality. This is some of the best pizza I've had in the Inland Empire, which isn't really a high bar but I enjoyed it. I was in the area and asked a local where to find a good pizza, and they steered me here. I'm glad they did. This is one of the best New York style pizzas I've had in Southern California, great flavor and the thin crust actually held up. IYKYK. Also, don't sleep on the cannoli! I rarely leave reviews but this one deserves one. This is probably my favorite place to have pizza in the IE however someone def dropped the ball today. The pizza was cut by someone in a rush?? Or training? This pizza was cut so terribly wrong that it hurts my heart as a pizza lover. Slices are terribly uneven and just wrong. Also the pizza crust was a little well done. My toddler had a hard time chewing. Just sending this as constructive criticism. Sooo yummy, the sauce is the best part. We enjoyed a Calzone and a Stromboli the other day. They were so cheesy and piping hot and satisfying. The staff are all friendly and service is quick! It's the first time for me to review this place but not my first time eating there. This is definitely the go to spot when you want premium pizza. The pricing is a little high, but the quality is worth it. You can get it by the slice or order the whole pie a personal like their Stromboli's. The service is always quick and the food is always fresh. Crust and the bread: was the best part of the pizza they have a great oven I'd say and the crust was actually pretty good nothing special but way better than the chains 7/10 Sauce: literally just a normal sauce nothing stood out didn't think it was like a good sauce like other places it was just there wasn't bad but flavorless 5/10 Cheese: same as the sauce just normal cheese nothing special nothing that stood out just kinda bland normal cheese doesn't taste high quality kinda flavorless 5/10 Toppings: average toppings not the curled pepperonis just normal ones basic nothing crazy 5/10 Overall: just a decent pizza for California standards it does get carried by its style I wouldn't say anything about the pizza stands out but it's better than the chains and the crust is actually pretty nice but not as good as real New York style For New York standards this would probably hit a 5.8 considering I've tried ceres lindustry and the others but for California it's like a 6.1/10 and for this area it's probably like a 7/10 Place has potential to be honest I like the way their oven gave it a nice crisp I'd say if they just used higher quality ingredients which actually make a big difference or maybe some other sauce recipes just to make it stand out it would really help it compete with the top dogs but compared to the chains like hut dominoes johns, I'd take this 10/10 times I'd eat here again if I was close to give it another chance but for now this is my review as a pizza reviewer idk why this has such good reviews I don't really care about the service they were nice I really just want the rating to reflect the taste of the food. First time here. Staff was super friendly. The guy behind the counter asked how I was before asking about my order. He provided plates, crushed pepper, & parmesan cheese without me asking. My food was ready when I arrived. I ordered 20 minutes in advance. They also boxed it a certain way so the thick (pan) pizza wouldn't be crushed. The pizza was good. A solid size for the price. ($30 for half pan). It fed both my wife and I dinner and lucnh for her the next day. My one complaint was the texture. I was hoping the edges would be a bit crisper. The food was terrible. The cashier was great but I waited an hour for a meatball sandwich. I went with my family and it was ridiculous. My sandwich had chopped up meatballs with very little sauce to it I seriously think that they were frozen meatballs. My granddaughter ordered a single slice of pizza and she waited 45 minutes for it. Highly disappointed. I ordered a sandwich from here recently, and in case you're wondering, 'who goes to a pizza spot, to order a sandwich,' well, I do. It's what I wanted at that time. Growing up in the northeast, if I see a business that advertises that they have NY Style Pizza (or anything), you can best believe I'm going to try something, this time, I chose a sandwich. Now that we got that part out the way, let me explain MY experience. First, the gentleman at the register was great. As quite usual for ME, being the only one in line for a minute or two, I asked for a recommendation between a hot turkey sub or the Italian. He stated, the Italian was his favorite. So, of course, I went with his fav. I watched as my sandwich came out the oven, and it looked just fine. After the lady returned from placing the lettuce, tomatoes, and black olives on my sandwich, I saw that it was huge and I tried to see if it was cut in half, but, I really couldn't tell. So, when she placed my order on the counter, I politely asked her if it was cut in half. She said nicely, "Yes, it's cut." She seemed a bit hesitant, but, it was okay, let's keep going. Before I left, I remembered to ask if it had a specific condiment on it. She turned to the young man at the register, he came over and said, "No, I didn't add that to it, but we can get some for you, no problem. After receiving it, I said thank you and proceeded to leave. As I headed towards the door, I grabbed a plastic knife, some oregano, and napkins. I decided to enjoy my sandwich in the car. My first thought was, "my bread is burnt,' follow by, 'this is huge.' Then, I noticed that it was not cut. And, the lettuce, tomato, black olive veggies were way too big for MY enjoyment. I took a minute, shook my head, and said to myself, 'let me add the condiments, and see how it tastes. " But, before I did that, I pulled off a piece of the meat, the ham specifically. "Ehh," was my thought. As I took my first real bite, the large chunks of veggies began to fall off, as if they didn't want to be there in the first place. lol But, I completed the bite, chewed for about 3 seconds, then utilized the napkin to the right of me. It tasted burnt. Not wanting to give up on it, I decided to remove the burnt parts of the bread, but, nope, it didn't work. Still, not giving up on the experience yet, I pulled off some of each of the meats, took a few bites in an attempt to convince myself that the meat couldn't possibly be affected but, still no. So, this time, I utilized the trash can. Now, I'm not the authority on Italian subs, but I am the authority on how I like MY Italian sub to taste. Will I try another sub from this place? Absolutely not. But, I do look forward to trying the pizza. Now, I do not blame the young man at the register, he was nice. I just think more time should be spent in properly preparing the veggies, managing meat portions (you can't tell in the pics, but it was a lot under the lettuce mountain), and assembling the final product. It's a nice restaurant, with a small arcade, and appears to be very family friendly. I don't want this to discourage anyone from trying the sandwiches at this place. I wanted pizza for a Sunday & this particular location was open. Their #2 location off of 19th, which is much closer, is closed on Sundays. Nevertheless, my daughter picked up the pizza for our family gathering. We got the white pizza, the Hawaiian pizza & the meat lovers one. Service over the phone was great. Didn't eat here so I can't say how it is inside. But the pizza is always good. read more

I've spent a significant time in New York City over the years for work and I'm convinced that city has the best pizza in the country, In general, I've been super disappointed by the pizzas I've had here in CA since moving from Chicago a few years ago. That said, I've seen signs for NY style pizza around here lately so I decided to try San Biagio's via Door Dash tonight for the NFC championship game and I was not disappointed! This slice reminded me perfectly of the amazing pizza I'd have after a killer night out on the lower east side of Manhattan in NYC. Crispy crust, perfect toppings - even the sausages were cut in the half circles like they do in NYC. I didn't get to go in person, but I'll definitely stop in sometime and I will absolutely be back! If you feel like you're on a Pizza Island out here on the west coast, give San Biagio's a try! read more

Now the new York pizza is like rubber, zero taste also bought there Stromboli and they changed the recipe now instead of giving you chunks of sausage. All good things must come to an end. After eating San Biagio pizza for more than 30 years, I must report that it is no longer good. Sauce too sweet, crust flaccid, overall mushy. Used to be a good approximation of NY pizza, but no longer. They had a good thing going, too bad they gave up quality. The blonde chick in the front makes you feel really guilty for coming in, granted she's not warm and normally I would chalk it up to just her having a bad day, but it's like this every time my family and I come in. Some places have a charm to them being rude but interacting with her is such a pain. However, the cooks that make the pizza are a lot nicer and put a lot of work and love into their pies. When they hand you your order, they always are warm and polite and take care of you. But the pizza is so good that it makes it worth it. Assuming that the blonde is from New York, maybe it's just a normal thing there? Solid 3.5 I believe in consistency, so I was a bit disappointed when I noticed the slices were smaller also, they didn't have much on display compared to their other location. Even the stromboli looked different. The customer service was great, can't beat the prices on the single sliced pizza or even the combos! This place gave me food poisoning will never come here again they refuse to do anything about it

Up until today I would Have given the folks at San Biagio's 5 Stars... food and staff. Upon arriving this evening, 10/25/2025, the place appeared uncharacteristically disheveled and out of sorts, trash and debris under the tables and the floors sticky and dirty from spills. It was obvious that they had been busy earlier but there were only 4 tables with customers dining currently. The other folks in the dining area looked as though they were waiting for take out orders. We came in at 4:45pm (15 minutes prior to the 5:00pm start of the game) and put in our pretty simple order for an order of Garlic cheese toast, 2 hot sandwiches and a couple of sodas and were given a number. I know what with the Dodger World series game just about to start and the hectic load of, "to go" orders they were barraged with it was hectic... But Our dine in order was, "lost in the shuffle." 5 min... 10 min... 15 min... 25 min... 30 min... At 5:20 I went up to ask about our order and was dismissively told by the person at the counter- (relaying what the cook staff -possibly a manager- responded) "Sandwiches take time - it will be out shortly" NO APOLOGY for the delay or any possible inconvenience. At 5:30 my wife went up to the counter - understanding that I was peeved at the delay and the attitude given earlier . The Counter person stated rudely, " it'll be a MINUTE, it will be out in a minute" (again relaying what the cook staff dismissively responded when asked about our order). Again, NO APOLOGY for the delay or even an acknowledgment of the fact that it was already 45 minutes since we placed our order. From my seat at the table I could hear what and how the counter person and the cook staff responded to my wife. The way in which the employees/staff/management responded was downright RUDE. No attempt to remedy the situation or placate an obviously upset repeat patron. When I Pressed to get a refund for the order that never came- the cook staff stated, "yea, don't bother coming back!" DONE. I will henceforth encourage others to do the same as We will never darken their doors again and will speak very disparagingly of the staff's attitude and how they mistreated this customer.
