Bar Meets Grill Bar

Ambiance awesome, Service awesome ....Regarding the food, Bar Meets Grill is excessively overpriced. While we don't object to the price point, the portions have shrunk dramatically. For instance, a 6oz fillet costs over $100 and comes with only one carrot, four green beans, and a small portion of mashed potatoes. The food quality and portion sizes need significant improvement.

My fiancé and I had dinner yesterday at Bar Meets Grill and it knocked our socks off We shared a half dozen oysters to start as well as a Fallbrook Syrah wine- both were great! He ordered Chilean sea bass that came with purple sweet potato, green beans, avocado and mango- he loved it. I ordered the Prime rib 3 course meal (Cesar salad, prime rib with potato and green bean, and this amazing flourless chocolate cake for dessert). The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was beautiful. We will be back again. FYI- my fiancé is gluten free and it was no problem If I could change anything, I'd add more than three green beans and a spoonful of potato to the main dish- with these big prices, sure would like sides with it.

Had the Prime Rib Dinner. Not bad at all. But you know what sold me? The service. Reed was amazing. I never had to ask for a water refill. He timed the food perfectly. He was so attentive and made the experience memorable. When I get superb service, I like to acknowledge it. Great job!!

Linguini and clams

My husband and I had dinner here last month. We had a meatball appetizer, lamb chops, and linguine with clams. Everything tasted pretty good, but I think I had slightly higher expectations with it being the "upscale" restaurant in the casino. That's ok though, that's on me. Our server was nice and he was transparent that they were short-staffed, so we didn't mind that service was on the slower side. It was a bit dark inside, but big and open. The only thing that I struggled with was the cigarette smoke smell. This restaurant was technically on the non-smoking side of the casino, but the scent really traveled. I had to wash everything when I got home because I'm super sensitive to smoke. We wouldn't go back because of that smell, which I didn't know about beforehand. I assumed all casinos were smoke-free which isn't the case!

The food was delicious, bread service, lobster bisque and sea bass were the highlights !

What a great experience. I had a reservation for just myself and I was seated promptly. I was near the open concept kitchen. Ashley my server was knowledgeable and gave me a great wine selection. I had French onion soup which was delicious. (It's one of my favorites and I'm picky) then I was coursed out with a boneless ribeye steak cooked perfect medium rare, Brussels sprouts and sautéed shrimp . (I forgot the pic of shrimp) this meal was delicious and hit the spot. I finished out with dessert that was just the right size to end the night. I would definitely be back to keep exploring the menu.

Outstanding service in a relaxed atmosphere, food was excellent, the starter plate of meatballs were awesome.

We love Bar Meets Grill! The food is always spectacular especially when Carlos is the chef on duty and the service is ALWAYS top notch. Everyone is so welcoming and attentive from Miriam at the front to Behrouz bringing the bread, singing Happy Birthday with his beautiful voice and bussing tables to almost all of the servers....Stephen, Tiffany, Sean...everyone is incredible there. We had the pleasure of having Stephen for our waiter for our Valentines date with our daughter and he is always exceptional and accommodating! The jumbo shrimp cocktail was delicious and the steaks flavor was amazing. Best desserts too especially the flourless chocolate cake (highly recommend)! This is always our go to restaurant whether is for a date night or even taking our kids out in their birthdays( it is all 3 of our kids favorite restaurant). Thanks to everyone at Bar Meets Grill for always making us feel so welcome and taking the best care of us consistently!

Filet mignon and charred corn.

Been here twice! Food is amazing. Started with the French onion soup. The crock was only half full with soup, then they added two cheese topped croutons. Not my favorite presentation of this. I love scraping the extra cheese off the side of the crock. The filet mignon was cooked and seasoned perfectly! The charred corn with brown butter was delicious. Our waiter was very attentive. I made reservations, but they weren't necessary for a Thursday at 6pm. Depending where you sit, there's a nice view of the pool.

If the other 9 restaurants have the same type of manager and most importantly the service that , "Teresa" provided to us on such a big fight weekend ( UFC Adesanya fight and Fondura vs Thurman) I am sure they will have a loyal fallowing of customers. We ate and drank their every night ! I thanked my girlfriend so many times for surprising me with the trip to see the boxing fight I so desperately wanted to see ( by the way my guy lost ... I sat at the bar and immediately I was invisible. I sat. And I sat. And I sat some more. A solid 10 minutes or more. At one point I stood up to check what was on a different TV than the one above me. Upon my return, the bartender finally acknowledged my existence and said, "Sorry, I guess I left you hanging". I then ordered a beer, which he poured right away. While I had his attention I ordered my meal. After all, I had plenty of time to look at the menu. Then the 2nd round of invisibility started. I finished my beer and was ready for another. I waited. And I waited. And I waited some more. About an additional 15 minutes. I finally caught the attention of the other bartender and ordered a 2nd beer that was never brought to me. Finally, the first guy came back, so I ordered it from him. As he was bringing it to me, I heard him tell one of the young servers, "Make sure it's medium rare". Wait, what?! That's my burger order! You're just now putting it in? WTF? Invisible indeed! Another 15 minutes went by before my burger and "frings" (fries and onion rings) arrived. I realize that the guy was keeping busy with the walk-up customers, but I was right there! Sitting right in front of him! I finished half of the burger and had a lot of rings and fries leftover and needed a to-go box. Good gawd! More waiting ensued. I finally caught a young woman as she was leaving the kitchen area and asked her for a box which she grabbed for me. Trying to get the bartender's attention for the check ended up being yet another exercise in futility. At least the burger was good (really good in fact), the fries too, the only redeeming quality of my visit. The onion rings? Meh. Straight from a bag of frozen.

FOOD: - hot potatoes: has a pickled radish and some sort of crème sauce that was so good - these were my husband's favorite. - chicken satay: It came with pickled cucumber (think when it's cucumber kimchi, but it wasn't a kimchi type of marinade). The peanut sauce had a little spice (if you don't have any spice tolerance I would avoid the sauce, but it was sooo good). This was my favorite. - khao soi curry (has egg noodles) and that was delicious. We added the brisket to it which was a good add. My husband ate his so fast and I had to make him not take any more so we could have leftovers! DRINKS: - we got complimentary champagne for our anniversary which was so so sweet of them and made our night! The champagne itself was actually one of the best champagnes I have had. It had a nice sweetness to it. - my husband had the thai lager, which he said was okay. It tasted like most lagers he's had. - we shared the tangerine you are my sex machine as it sounded interesting and i do have to say this was the only thing we weren't big fans of. it was very smokey, but my husband put "old boat motor" in my head and that's all we could taste. if you love smokey drinks this would be for you. - I had a house cocktail that I cannot remember the name of for the life of me, but it was sweet, peachy (I think) and had champagne in it from what I remember. It was so good and would get it again! The vibe inside the restaurant was cool and there are over 30 tigers (our server counted for us, but she said she couldn't even find them all). The bathrooms were cute and very clean. 10/10 recommend. The check even came in a romance novel!

I think everything really complimented each other well from the music to the art to the menu, it was great! Our server was nice as we were indecisive with even such a small menu, we had a hard time. The drinks were good and strong, unique and creative. Which I guess when you're going out and want to stay on theme, it works. We had the coconut broth hamachi which was so lip-smackingly addictive with those wonton chips! I would come back just for that dish! The chicken satay skewers were also delicious and the sauce that came with it was a good mix of sweet, savory, spicy and salty. I do think from there it was kind of just okay? I got the half fried chicken which smelled a fish sauce glaze and that's what I went in expecting but there was no punch of that fish sauce flavor you know? It needed a bit more pop. BF got the pork belly banh mi bowl which I guess in theory why would you get that at a Thai place? But the pork belly was hard and firm, not as you'd expect it to be which was dissapointing. Our friends got the Khao Soi which was delicious I do have to say and the Panang with Brisket. I think it was cool to try but im just stuck in my ways and prefer the ole mom and pop down the road with more options. But its fun for a night out!
