I keep thinking about the wonderful dinner we had at Fresco's on Friday. We started the evening with perfectly portioned and delicious appetizers--the meatballs and artichokes were outstanding. The patio was beautiful, and we loved that we were able to bring our dog. Ivan did an excellent job pacing the meal and provided professional, attentive service throughout the evening. We enjoyed a fresh Caesar salad and the shrimp for our entree, both of which were excellent. They also have a great wine selection. To top it all off, the owner stopped by our table to chat with us, which is such a rare and appreciated touch these days. We can't wait to come back! read more

Fresco Grill is a nice enough restaurant, with modern furniture and fixtures. It's dimly lit and lanterns sit at each table, providing a cozy, intimate vibe. You get one free bread basket (of 6 pieces) and some olive oil with balsamic vinegar. I found it interesting that they charged $2.50 for every bread basket after, but ultimately I didn't ask for more. The staff was nice and friendly and checked on us enough. I ordered the pasta of the day, a tortellacci pasta with short rib and cheese covered in a cream demi glaze sauce, and my partner ordered the ravioli al formaggio di capra, a goat cheese and parmesan cheese stuffed ravioli with spinach and tomato cream sauce. Upon arrival, my dish looked quite lackluster. It was about 5 pieces of stuffed pasta covered in a beige sauce and dribbled with squares of short rib. There was a thin film over the sauce, which made me think it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a bit, which would have been okay if the food was good. The taste was underwhelming yet a little too salty. I should have taken a picture of the food, but imagine a hamburger helper beef stroganoff colored pasta sauce--bland and tan. My partner described his dish as something that was once frozen, then reheated, as the pasta felt a little undercooked. He says it was "mid" but "not as bad as Olive Garden". Overall, this place seems nice for a few drinks and maybe some apps. It's possible that we ordered their weakest dishes, but I fear I will not be returning to find out. read more

This restaurant is definitely worthy of a second 5 star review! Went to happy hour on a Saturday which is 1-6 all weekend. Sat at the bar and Shelby was our bartender. She was awesome! Sitting at the bar is my preference and theirs has a relaxing ambiance. I ordered a dirty martini with blue cheese olive and they stuff the olives themselves. They are excellent! You can really taste the difference. The house wines were smooth and easy to drink as well. My friend got the happy hour ravioli di capra. The rosey cream sauce was the perfect pairing and the bread soaked it up nicely. I got the fettuccine alfredo and wow ...it was the best I've had at a restaurant. Decadent yet not heavy. Loaded with chicken and with some added parm on top it was the perfect dish. This is my new favorite spot and I plan to keep working my way through the menus. We have been there for the past two nights for happy hour. Ivan the waiter was good, although a little disappointing that he didn't take that charge off. Over the past two nights we spent probably over $250 and to be charged $2.50 for a second helping of bread unfortunately is the reason why we will never be back at this place. When I walked in I felt wow this place is so beautiful inside. Nice and cozy. The server brought us bread with olive oil and I believe it was basaltic vinegar. We started out with artichoke genovese and OMG I could eat this every day! The best artichokes I've had in my life! So tender and flavorful with an olive oil and chili flakes marinade. My daughter and I shared the special which was steak and lobster with clams and mussels and halibut riviera. They were both very good.. The server was great she kept coming and checking on us. The owner also stopped by and asked us how everything was. I go out a lot to many restaurants because I'm a big foodie and it's only happened a few times that the owner of the restaurant would come by to ask how everything is. Lastly we shared the crème brule which was excellent. Very creamy with a nice thin hard layer of sugar on top. For me, the star of the show was the artichokes. I had a wonderful experience at Fresco Grill. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service from Ivan was incredible, very pleasant and attentive throughout the entire meal. From the moment you arrive, the host is very welcoming and makes you feel comfortable right away. Their lunch special from 1 PM to 3 PM offers great food at an excellent value, and the Happy Hour from 1 PM to 6 PM is a fantastic way to relax with great drinks and a welcoming atmosphere. I went with a couple friends and we were greeted right away and seated at a table. They served bread that was served hot with olive oil and vinegar. We decided to start with one of their appetizers from their specials. These were probably the best artichokes I ever have and hope they put this on their menu as a permanent item! They were so flavorful and delicious. For my main, I ordered the fettuccine which was good! They had so many different things I wanted to ordered and opted for the fettuccine. Portions are getting smaller that's why I took off a star, paid $32 for chicken Marsala flavor is good but the smallest chicken breast they can find and few fingerling potatoes like 4 tiny ones and a small amount of veggies. They got items on happy hour and felt it wasn't a true happy hour with tiny portions and higher hh prices. She checked in on us just the right amount, skillfully managed our large group, and even found thoughtful wine substitutions when our first choice was sold out, such a pro and genuinely friendly. As for the food, it was pretty average overall. Most of us got lukewarm pasta dishes, which was a bummer, though my son's pizza came out piping hot (win!). Really nice looking place with a great atmosphere and nice vibe, however the food served here seemed to be pre-made Costco/Sysco level fare. My wife ordered the halibut special which was supposed to be pan-seared. It was not, it seemed to be poached. It was most likely something that came from a bag. I ordered the Osso Buco special with ravioli, which seemed to be the very same type of Osso Buco that you can get from Costco/Sysco/RD that is meant to bd reheated in a bag. It was cold in the middle, which for me is an absolute no-go. They removed it from our bill thankfully. Everything else was quite nice including calamari appetizer, and our drinks were good. The seat was embellished with lots of cushions, a very comfortable seat. We ordered lychee Verde and a cadillac margarita. The drinks were very good. My lychee Verde initially looked like a margarita and I was worried there would be no lychee taste, but it did. It was a nice subtle play on my tongue. It was good. Came for a friend's birthday dinner. We had a portion of the restaurant for the 25 attendees. Food was served family style which included a couple appetizers, salad, pasta, and two mains (salmon was dry and chicken piccata was just ok). The timing of it seemed off as some tables dishes were served much later than the others. We kept having to ask for water refills as the servers walked by sporadically. One person got up to find a server to request pitchers of water be placed on the table, they said they would,d yet they came and filled our glasses without leaving the pitcher. Place does get busy after 6 we noticed, so we came at a good time. First time around we ordered linguine, pizza and a drink. Second time we ordered TWO orders of their short rib pasta special, lasagna ($26) and pizza ($18) (we brought our daughter along the second time). Obviously you can tell we really like the short rib pasta special ($26) because we ordered TWO. That sauce on there is to die for. Pizzas of any kind here is very tasty. You get table side freshly grated cheese to whatever dishes you would like. You get one basket of bread for the table...according to the menu it says extra bread baskets after is a charge of $5. After multiple people recommending this place we finally got to try it. Great little restaurant for the plaza it's in. Cozy inside and the staff is always welcoming. The owner walks around and greets/checks in on every table. We went for dinner and found out they also have a Happy Hour so will be back for that. Bruschetta was delicious. Super garlicky (I loved it, but might be overwhelming for some). Strawberry salad - Raspberry vinaigrette is very sweet so we got it on the side. A regular vinaigrette would be good with this salad as well. After our daughter had her recital, we chose to celebrate her here before heading home. This place was absolutely fantastic! The staff was beyond friendly and kind - to everyone that walked through the door - and to all of the kids that were there after the recital.
