The service is good. The aguas frescas are to sweet. The enchiladas should only be with queso fresco as how original is, no cheddar cheese, I understand that people might like it but is not how they approach what they advertise Mexican food, the shrimp soup had lots of condiments that over power the natural taste of the shrimp. Mexican food is a very difficult way cook it but once is done right you can go wrong. The Mexican cusin does not have lots of room specially when you say is authentic. Simply the best! Better tan all the rest. This has been my favorite Mexican restaurant since I moved here 4 years ago. It's one of the first places I go when I've been out of town. Sometimes, my husband and I eat here twice in one week. Everything I've tried has been delicious. Amazing mole, tacos de pulpo, filete à la Diablo, and chile relleno. Their tamales and enchiladas are great. Their tacos are the best. My favorites are ground beef, shredded chicken, and shrimp. The staff is terrific. There are several people to greet you at the door with bright, smiling faces. They assist each other in making sure you have a great experience every time. We were a huge group that appeared unannounced when they were already handling two other large groups. Service was spectacular despite the high demands at either end of the restaurant. Food was delicious and well flavored. We got everything from fish to burritos to Chile relleno. All served warm and perfectly cooked. Even with our group of 15 they allowed us to get separate checks. The absolutely best service I have ever received at a restaurant. 10/10 The food was delicious and the prices for the amount of food they're provide to you on a plate is very reasonable. I ordered their Combo Tres Plate. I chose a burrito, tamale, and the enchilada w/ a side of refried beans and the house salad. 10/10 They provide you with really good salsa and chips. We probably had about 8 servings of the chips and salsa; so good! 10/10 The restaurant was exactly what you expect when going to a Mexican restaurant. I had my rehearsal dinner here in their outdoor patio space and we had a great time! Sosimo and team were extremely communicative and made the experience easy and stress-free. The space was clean and private, and the food was delicious! The Tres Combo plate allows you to try a few things at an extremely reasonable cost. Cute little restaurant in Fallbrook. We were seated right away in the patio. It was getting a little cold so it's good they had heaters going. We shared a variety of food. We started out with Choros A La Plancha. So full of flavor. Cheese enchiladas. One with roja and the other with mole sauce. Loved both of them. The Parrillada Pacifico fajitas were also excellent which included 1/2 lobster tail, shrimp, prawn, steak, chicken, tomato, onion and bell pepper. Loved the assortment of meats and veggies. That came with beans, rice, salsa, sour cream and lettuce. Xango was the dessert. Churros, vanilla ice cream, chocolate, and raspberry sauce. I was so full after all the food I could only have a couple of bites of that which was delicious. I would definitely come back when I'm visiting Fallbrook again. read more

Absolutely wonderful every visit. Mariscos a regular stop when we visit Fallbrook. It's always wonderful. The food is outstanding and the service is great. However this holiday season they did a particularly wonderful job. Both times we visited, the team welcomed us and our pet boxer on their patio. The guacamole is perfection. Entire menu is delish, but we particularly enjoy the enchiladas, burritos and chili relleno. We enjoyed the patio, the wonderful food, and the fellowship they offer. The absolute BEST fish tacos ever!!! Try their butterfish tacos (fried) with their beans and rice. The rice is pretty flavorful, but the refried beans are impeccable -- super delicious with a good amount of cheese on top. Seriously though, the tacos are to die for. The fish is always extremely fresh and super juicy. The inside of the restaurant is always clean, and service is always kind and super efficient. We have been dining here the last few years and sad to say it's been disappointing the last few times. Our food was cold, the drinks have gone up and don't match the casual atmosphere. The waitress never checked back for a second drink order, or to see how our food was. A party of 6 is charged a 20% gratuity now??? Really? Would a family with 4 kids get slapped a 20% gratuity? Nickle and dime us by charging $1.99 for a basket of chips after delivering 4 baskets( that are small to begin with) to a party of 6 adults. $1.82 for a small scoop of sour cream .... We use to enjoy this little casual restaurant , but the service and expensive drinks and petty charges are a big turn off, so we will say adios amigos! read more

We are regulars at Marisco's and they make each week so memorable! Bryaam is our bartender and always pays attention to detail in his drinks. We have never had a bad margarita or drink here and it's always a pleasure talking to him. Pedro, Joel and Maria always meet us with a smile every time we walk in the door. They have fast service and excellent customer service. Everyone works so hard and it shows in the food. We have tried many Mexican places and it's the best in town. Chips and salsa are always excellent down the most expensive thing on the menu. All perfect. My husband says the chicken mole is the best he's ever had. Yummm! I LOVE this place. We visit Falbrook area just to eat here. I always order fish (mahi mahi). I love their fish burrito, their fish tacos, and their whole grilled fish is amazing. Their chips and salsa are soooo good, and their drinks-delicious!!! I also love to see what others order-the shrimp dishes look pretty great also. It's hit or miss. This time it was a miss. We sat down- ordered our drinks- took awhile- but we got them. Server came back and took our dinner order. The dad and his daughter that sat down right before us got their order and left. Still no dinner. The party of 4 that sat down after us got their order- still no dinner. As we are about to throw down some cash for our drinks order, the manager came by to check on us. We told him that we ordered, but no food. He left came back.. our sever didn't submit our food ticket, but would you like another drink? We should have just left. Food came out- bland chicken enchiladas and the carnitas were very dry. We pay- we leave- our sever, who still did not apologize for not turning in our order, chases us down outside because she said our payment didn't go through. It did- we checked our bank. Major miss! We've been coming to this Mexican restaurant for a while because the food is consistently good -- fresh chips, flavorful dishes, and generous portions. Unfortunately, the service is usually slow, and last night was a real disappointment with the drinks. My husband and I ordered margaritas with Patrón Silver (something we've had here plenty of times), but what we were served was not Patrón. The flavor was harsh and tasted more like moonshine than tequila. We didn't even finish them. If you're here for the food, you'll probably leave happy. But if you're looking for quality tequila or a well-made margarita, you might want to pass. read more

I think they had a change of owners. The place was nicely remodeled. The service is great. I had shredded beef tacos again on this visit. The shredded beef was dry and needed seasoning. The rest of the taco was good. The refried beans were on the dry side. They tasted good, though. The guacamole was made of avocados that were overripe. They still had a good flavor. Taco Tuesday is OK, it's $4 a taco. And rice and beans is extra, so for 2 people. You're looking at $20-30 some dollars plus drinks, so it's really not that great of a deal. Visited Marisco's for my wife's birthday and seated in the bar area. The serve staff were very pleasant and efficient, and the dining areas were full. The ambiance was low key and local. Ordered the carnitas verde and my wife had a fried fish dish in a Mexican sauce. Had not returned from our first visit a year ago which we found disappointing because of the food preparation. Sadly there has been little change since then. Both dishes were cold and the flavors bland. The carnitas tasted like boiled meat in a soupy flavorless green sauce and the rice and black beans were cold. Decided not to bother to send back because even reheated would not save the dish and left half a portion on plate. Wife had similar experience (cold beans and rice) and found her sauce bland as well. I've been here more than a handful of times since new ownership. I/we have had nothing but wonderful customer service and great food. We noticed that the chips and salsa that come out before the meal could be a hit and miss as far as freshness. My experience this week was fresh tortilla chips, still warm. It was light and crispy. I had it not to long ago and it was seasoned (salt) & fried to perfection, that I had to order it again. I'd rather order fish out, less cleaning at home. The fish could have used a little bit more salt, but nonetheless it was delicious. Nice and crispy! I ordered double rice instead of having beans. They brought out the dish with my specific request and cautioned that the platter was extremely hot. Everything was fresh and I was very content with my order, I may order it, again! They have soda water available too! This is a plus for my husband and I since we are not flavored soda drinkers. The menu offer a variety of dishes and even some meatless and low carb options. I've yet to try some of their cocktails. The decor is simple and nice, no clutter look. The outdoor seating has been enclosed since it changed over. This is a nice barrier for noise and weather control. Parking lot fills up quickly but there is street parking available. read more

Service was great. They were very friendly! I came so early for the oysters, and it disappointed. They were Baja oysters, larger than most but they were pasty and lathered with water! The food is good. The service is mostly efficient but not always. They charge $20 for shrimp fajitas which comes with two sides, tortillas and pico de gallo. They weren't sizzling and they deliver them on a square cutting board that has the hot surface.... And no plate. They do not serve guacamole or sour cream with the fajitas! At least not the shrimp ones. So we asked for some. They charged us $2 each for a tiny plastic container of guac and $1.75 each for a tiny plastic container of sour cream! I dislike the nickel and dime-ing. I would rather they increase the price and just include it. Idk...something about that that doesn't sit right with me. Ordered a tostada de mariscos and I received a tostada full of octopus barely any scallops on it I was hoping to eat fresh shrimp but was disappointed by their food. They placed an oyster on the side but that also was warm and not how it's supposed to be served.
