Food has been decent in the past. Went in today and was told they didn't take card payments despite having multiple signs on their door that they take multiple forms of card payments along with Apple Pay and android payments. They don't even inform you of the fact that they don't take card payments until after you spend several minutes studying the menu and begin to order. read more

The restaurant was empty, that should have been the first sign, but the guys working were very nice so didn't think anything of it. We ordered: Carne Asada Burrito-it was so thin my guy finished it in just a couple minutes Carnitas Taco-NOT A STREET TACO a TACO, that was done in two bites Pollo Asada Fries-stale old re cooked fries, guac that was like paste...need I say more. I found myself in Fallbrook, 40 miles from my home, and decided to try Los Rolitos because I had heard good things about it. Tucked between "Recon Tattoos and Skate Shop" and "BZ Income Tax and Immigration Services", its dining room had 10 tables and booths, and numerous posters and blackboards with hundreds of menu items. We ordered 3 things, which were brought to our table in a few minutes. There was a sparse selection of bottled and canned beverages behind the counter, and there was a well-stocked serve-yourself "salsa bar" in a cooler along one wall. The order taker was helpful, a good communicator, and absolutely bilingual. He wanted our meal to be a success and took the time to make sure we were ordering what we wanted. They have a modern payment terminal that let me pay with my phone. The food we were served was tasty and well prepared with fresh ingredients. It was Baja style, which is not my favorite but which is so common around here that I am slowly learning to appreciate it (I prefer Michoacán or Jalisco style). I tried all of the salsa varieties, and they were all wonderful. My plastic fork and knife both broke while I was cutting food. They instantly provided replacements and some extra napkins, but I didn't enjoy such puny tableware or ridiculously tiny napkins. Mexican food can be messy, especially Baja style, and it seems to me that restaurants should provide the largest and most absorbent napkins they can offer and not something that resembles half-size Kleenex. If I should find myself in Fallbrook again I will eat here again, but it's not exactly on the way to anyplace I'm likely to be soon. Yuck . If you actually have any tastebuds this place is somewhere you should stay away from . I wish I had listened to the reviews and stayed away from this place . The flavor of the burrito was "grease" . Can't say much about the service , the issue is the food . It's dry , greasy and flavorless . Save your money and just go out of town or cook at home . We ordered a carne asada quesadilla supreme & a carne asada burrito. It came out fresh and pretty quick. The quesadilla had a tad bit too much guacamole and I wish it would've came with more cheese. But a good affordable spot for some authentic Mexican food! read more

Food was very good and packaged well, so it was still hot when we got home. I had a shrimp quesadilla and a shrimp taco. Shrimp was big and cooked to perfection. Quesadilla was not greasy at all. My partner had pollo asada nachos and the portion was enormous. Sooo good. read more

I have to rate this based on my first experience with them... I will be sure to update with a updated review after tasting other items on the menu. I will be visiting quite often as this shop is around the corner from a place I am currently working at at the moment. First off, this little place has LOTS of items on the menu. See the pics I posted. MASSIVE MENU but maybe a little too much to choose from when you come here hungry...one of those things where everything looks good, you don't know what to try first. lol. I ordered Chilaquiles. They were not too good... to me anyway. I had to ask for more items to be added because all they were was just sauce, egg and sour cream. Not that it was bland... it did have flavor but the dish needed more ingredients to it. My next visit I will be trying other things and will edit as I try other menu items. I do like the layout of the restaurant. It was clean when I went, lots of seats and tables to sit at. Let's see what the next visit is like..... read more

Los Tres Compadres is a small restaurant on Mission, downtown Fallbrook. We have done takeout their many times because the food is worth the trip. I have tried the full sized tacos and many of the burritos. The food is very flavorful and with a generous size at a reasonable price. The restaurant has quite a variety of items. We have been to many mexican restaurants all along the coast and find this restaurant, though not fancy or large and more geared for takeout, makes up for it in the food, which is the prime factor in what a restaurant is all about! read more

Tried for first time since Aydee's closed at this location and was sadly disappointed. Got the #3 Enchilada Plate. The only thing good was the rice. Refried Beans were tasteless. Enchiladas were tasteless. (No, I don't have Covid-19). Price was great only $8.50. I suggest you pay $3.50 more and cross the street to Estrellas. Post script: Food better after sitting in the refrigerator for 2 days and accompanied by fresh Pico-de-Gallo from Torro Market across the street. read more

I went here today for the first time, food was great!! Authentic Mexican Food! Its not fast food, you can hear them in the back grilling the meat. They have $1.00 tacos on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I had carne asada, chicken and fish tacos they were all delicious, my son had rolled tacos which he loved. Its clean inside and the staff is very friendly. The only negative I found was theres not a whole lot of parking but I dont see this being a huge issue. Unless they get super busy. Will definitely come back. read more

The food is great but always check your order we got home and we're missing a complete order of rolled tacos and a bag of chips but we got the guacamole with no chips! We called right away and they argued we had the wrong place. We finally just said whatever it wasn't worth the fight and we went back a few days later my sister even said again what happened and she said I tipped you guys really well thinking they might remember they still were not budging. Owning my own business and seeing we are repeat customers I would have been a bit more understanding. But as far as their food goes it is a five star just check your order before you walk out! read more

Just plainly put this is good authentic Mexican food done right. This was my 1st time here. I had tacos de cabeza and al pastor. Not the tiny street tacos (that I do love so much) but big restaurant style tacos chuck full of meat and fixings and seasoned to perfection.
