Everyone that finds Mexican food they like believes it's THE Mexican place to go to. I can say for a fact, this is that place for all of North County. Having been eating from this food truck for years, I have yet to find a place come close to matching traditional home-cooked Mexican food FROM Mexico (in NC, that is). They park right by the Happy Jug Liquer, in the same lot. - Cheap Eats at $1.50 a Taco - Fast Cook - Flavorful, Original Salsa - Cash Only - Open from 7pm to Around 11pm - Chapurrado! - Jarritos! I will drive up here any time I get a craving for a good burrito or taco. It can get a bit pricey when you order a burrito and and 5 tacos (like I often do) and then still have to order for my wife. The tacos are just not made like this anywhere else. The asada can be fatty at times but the cesos, al pastor and cabeza are always right on-point. If you need a good finisher, give the Chapurrado a try, especially on a cold day. Warm, chocolate goodness. For you non-Spanish speakers, they have a translation on their ordering window. It is hilarious to see my dad walk up amongst the Fallbrook Hispanics eating their food and mumble "tres cabezas please". I don't think he even knows how much they cost, he just hands money over and waits for his food. I never regret the drive, always leave full and wish I could have them park in front of my house when my mother-in-law is not cooking.

Best I ever had in a long time authentic Mexican cabeza tacos.

Pretty good taco place I tend to come to when ever I'm in the area. Although the line is long since it is a pretty popular place I'd give them 5 stars but it's already twice that I've been here and they don't have cabeza nor lengua available.

New location!

The truck is now across the street from the shell going out of town towards the 15/Temecula. Close to where Fallbrook pizza co. used to be.

The staff is very friendly and caring, they act fast to get your food out the second you place the order! There is some seating and also parking down the street or in a little lot, not sure if they let you park on the property but definitely ask! Once i came home i shared this meal with my family, and value wise it is so worth the price. The carnitas and chicken are delicious, full of flavor, make sure to put the pickled onions with your taco, total game changer! Didn't need much at all, we will be back soon to try the birria!

I've been trying to catch him every Sunday but you really gotta go early to get everything you want because things sell out fast by 10-11 am. The chicharons are meaty & crispy. Both chicken & carnitas tender & flavorful. The red salsa was so good & has a nice kick. He has a food truck that he puts up every Sunday in Fallbrook. There ain't nothing like a good 'ol burrito for lunch…read more I've never been to a physical location of Ramones, but I have had food from their food trucks located throughout Camp Pendleton. To my knowledge they all serve the same options. Their menu isn't as extensive as a full-sized Mexican food joint - they mainly serve various types of burritos, having about 2 "side items" that are tacos and fries. Add-ons are $0.50 for each item. They charge more for extra meat (I'll add an exact price when I remember/eat here again). I've gotten their breakfast burrito a few times, costing me $4.50. It's not as big as the ones you'll find out in town, but it does taste healthier: it isn't crazy greasy, the eggs and cheese have a better consistency, and the bacon is thicker than average. Also, the lady who has always taken my order is friendly, and after giving her my card to pay, has addressed me by first name. That means she's paying attention, and that's always a plus. It's convenient, tastes good, and they have delicious sauces: Valentino hot sauce, green salsa, and my favorite: chipotle. More sweet than hot, but I like it that way.

I asked for extra cheese…read moresince I didn't want the onions and cilantro and I didn't realize they charged me $1 for extra cheese and to top it off there was hardly any cheese. Next time (if there is a next time), I will check my order before leaving the counter.
