The place is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, the prices are fair, but the food...not so great. We got home, opened the order and were impressed by the size, but as we dug in, the chips weren't that crunchy, the french fries were old and burnt the more that I dug down into my order of pollo asada fries. They were either soggy super crunchy b/c they threw them back in the fryer... I usually go here very often and today I called and and all of a sudden the girl I always talk to didn't know English when I clearly speak to her in English. So I started telling her in Spanish because I also speak Spanish that the food was greasy fries were undercooked and then the cook came out from the back and started arguing with me that if I wanted crispy fries I had to ask for them and I told them do I also have to ask for the fries to be cooked because they were soggy greasy and still raw. Well let me tell you there is nothing typical about this place outstanding, the roll Taco plate absolutely delicious with rice and beans plus the bean burrito and the wife had a cheese quesadilla all the above was absolutely delicious I would say one of the best Mexican food joints in Fallbrook without a doubt. The service was really good the gentleman who took our order delivered it to us at the table. They have the biggest burritos in town and they never fail to amaze us with the quality of the food. The Pollo Asada burrito and Carne Asada burritos are on point and yummy. Husband and I stopped in today to grab a couple of burritos for lunch. The food here is always good, the staff is so nice. It's quiet in there, so we stayed to eat our lunch. I have to say, in a time where food costs are rising and what you get for your dollar is going down, Burritos Luna delivers!! Our burritos were as long as my forearm and packed full of meat, not just pico or other cheaper ingredients. Not only completely delicious, but worth the price paid. The quality of dishes on the menu has changed. We ordered surf and turf fries, which was loaded with fries, beans, beef and six small shrimp, and loaded cheese. Not exactly a good surf and turf order. When we used to order this item, it would come with fries a good amount of refried beans and a good amount of corn Asada meat. Sometimes they put tomatoes which was OK and of course, a little bit of cheese, which is great so it's really changed. Also ordered four rolled tacos with guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. However received four rolled tacos with only sour cream and guacamole. Also ordered a taco salad, but when I received it, it had about a teaspoon of refried beans in a very oily fried tortilla filled with lots of shredded beef no lettuce a lot of tomatoes and cheese. How could they call it a salad when there was no lettuce. The quality of their food and choices have changed very much. I believe that they need the employees to be able to speak and understand English. The language barrier could be causing some of the confusion. As far as the ambiance, there's a huge menu board, basic chairs and tables and kind of dark. We won't be ordering much from this restaurant any longer. read more

Rolled tacos are not at as good as other places. Tacos are tiny, not enough to feed my husband - he needs to eat close to 5 to be full - not worth the 20$ they would cost. Sloppy food, sloppy cleanliness, waste of rent and space for what should be a premier food joint. Teach your "chefs" to have some pride in their work and customer interaction.
