I can't believe I didn't take a picture of the sandwiches last night. We went late at night when the deli was closed however they make fresh sandwiches and pack them so you will find some. The 395 had jalapeños I had to remove those but left some for my husband and he absolutely loved it. I still love the sandwich. The bread was delicious. My avocado was fresh. There was lots of meat and a thick slice of delicious cheese when I got home I added my own mayo and mustard, but they do come with packets, which has been used . These are giant sandwiches so you can actually share. we often use this market when we are making something and need some celery, some cilantro, some onion something that we just need and don't need to go to a giant grocery store for. The checkout counter is always kind and upbeat and friendly. Everyone is nice there if you're craving anything, you will definitely find it here a bottle of wine, some chocolate chips, food, avocados, fruit, or whatever you're looking for. what does a writing review? SUPER COOL place to stop in. Shares the parking lot with a BBQ place, pizza place and Nessy's Burgers. Big lot, looks small from the outside, but impressively spacious on the inside. Almost like a one stop shop/mini grocery store which must be convenient for the residents in this area. They have anything from home goods to frozen food items, a small produce section, dairy, snacks, breads, candy, a cigar case, lots of alcohol beverage choices and and an impressive selection in the wine aisle. They even have a deli counter to purchase meats and sandwiches as well as a Thrifty's ice cream counter. Service was friendly and helpful, an employee stopped to ask if we needed help finding anything. This will definitely be a must stop the next time we are in the area! read more

Really reasonably priced sandwich deli with a big variety of options. Sandwiches are always packed with deli meats and toppings. We love coming by and grabbing a couple sandwiches on nights we don't want to cook. You can also call ahead and order over the phone for pick up. The actual market is well stocked with your basic groceries but as expected, it is pricier than a regular supermarket. They also have Thrifty's ice cream if you're craving something sweet! Small parking lot shared with Pala Pizza, The Ribshack, and Nessy Burgers but people are in and out so it's relatively easy to find parking. read more

I'm giving this stop five stars! Small looking from the outside huge inside! The store has liquor, cigars,a full deli, a thrifty ice cream,a wine section and a seasonal selection. Had a sandwich and was very impressed! They had my seasonal cranberry sprite which was a sweet surprise. While checking out the cashier was so nice and then surprised me by asking if I wanted to take a pie home since they just would be throwing it out anyways.... Great first experience! read more

They have a really good deli with freshly made sandwiches. The chicken salad is good and so is the buffalo chicken sandwich. The squaw bread with the chicken salad sandwich was really fresh. The sandwiches are big, you can save half for lunch tomorrow or a light dinner. They have a nice variety of items at this market. Fresh fruit, vegetables and local bread. Busy during lunch but they get you out very quickly. They are in the parking lot near Nessy's burger, BBQ and a pizza place. read more

Really the only market on the East end of Fallbrook, near where we live. Good selection of everything. You pay a bit more here, but the alternative is driving another 15min into town. Good beer selection. Sandwiches are good too. Open early and stay open late, love that. They have all the essentials and have saved my family a lot of time when we realize we're out of milk, or need a quick veggie to pair with dinner. read more

While I would probably feel more genuine if I gave this local market 4 stars, I am going to award it 5 stars to offset a couple of oblique 1 star reviews. They have a 50/50 business draw of locals to passers-through. It is conveniently located just up the road from a busy gas station right off the 15 freeway. There are no other businesses in the vicinity (less Nessy Burger, next door) so if gotta have it, it's the only choice. They have a little bit of everything in this humble store, from canned goods, salad dressings, chips and a small selection of produce. As others have mentioned, they have a small deli counter and play host to an ice cream dispensary. Two things that really stand out for me are the beer selection and a brand of hot sauce that is generally found online. I hesitate to say this, but they regularly carry beers from Russian River Brewery (aka Pliny the Elder) which can be especially difficult to find in San Diego County. For being the only game in town, at least for the next few years, the prices are fair, people are friendly and selection is just enough to get you by in a pinch. If your in the area, stop by and grab a snack. Great way to support a local enterprise. Adam read more

Not sure why this place does not have 5 stars, it's such a convenient market that has almost anything you forgot to get at your local grocery store. Their sandwiches are delicious and come in a generous size. The staff are very professional and friendly and they keep the Market clean All the time! I have never seen the market dirty or "rancid" like some lady put in her review. If you notice those that posted a bad review barely post any reviews at all in General and sadly are are using Yelp as a means to try and hurt a business Which is not okay. Don't pay attention to those irrelevant comments just check out the market for yourself, I'm sure you won't have a bad experience with them. Oh yeah! This place is convenient if you don't want to run all the way to Oceanside or Temecula for simple things as sugar, milk, or bread. Always friendly service. Same shopping center as Nessy Burger and The Rib Shack. They have ice cream you can get by the scoop and they make sandwiches to order inside. Cute little small town market feel. read more

Had a great experience at the Pala Mesa market this afternoon. It was very clean and laid out nicely with great options to pick from. My husband wanted Nessy burgers for lunch but i wanted something a bit lighter and healthier so i ran in to see what i could find. I grabbed a freshly made sandwich from the deli counter and it far exceeded my expectations! It was a generous helping of turkey, avo and bacon (the important stuff). The staff was all very polite and kept busy with customers, cleaning or stocking. I will be back! read more

Love this market! We stop on the way home from the beach or just go to go. Really nice place that carries a little bit of everything! And really good locally baked bread! A decent veggie selection and deli, a decent frozen food section and Thrifty ice cream by the tub or scoop! The lady that works there is so super nice, I look forward to seeing her too! Was heading to Pala for a concert and decided to buy outside food! I went to the market to get sandwiches that looked amazing in the pictures. They were amazing. It was full of meat and the bread was delicious. Me and my partner could have easily split one sandwich, they are stuffed! I ate half and had the second half 2 days later and it still was delicious. Great convenient market for locals, or for anyone needing to stop off the 15! Their sandwiches are huge and delicious, my husband and I easily share one. Good quality meats and unique add ons. You can expect that prices are slightly elevated because of the convenience factor, but they have a great selection of veggies, milk, eggs, etc when you're in a bind. I just moved to Fallbrook and live close to this little market. I have to say that the deli counter makes the best sandwiches. The bread is always fresh and the vegetables and proteins are high quality. The sandwiches are a little pricey, but I don't mind paying extra for a terrific sandwich. Once we discovered the deli, it has been put on the list of favorite places to eat! The staff that work the deli and the store counter are ALWAYS very friendly and helpful. We go into this market a couple times a week and at different times during the day. The service is always great. Great little market! Everyone that works here is always pleasant and helpful. They have a good selection of beer, wine and spirits. A bit pricey for spirits, but what can u expect they are the only thing around. I had a deli sandwich for the first time it was fantastic! Piled high and the pickle deserves an honorable mention great spice it's pickled in. Might ask for 2 next time.. lol All Thurman's meats which have no added nitrates.. the good kind! Solid sandwich that's made fresh behind their counter. Friendly service as well and they will accommodate for whatever you want on yours. Note that these are relatively big sandwiches - lots of meat on each type (we got 4 different ones that day). We only needed a quick bite before playing golf at Pala Mesa down the road - we probably could have ordered 2 and split it amongst the 4 of us. read more

I'm a fan of this market because they have a very nice selection of beer and wine. When I say nice I mean good beer like Modern Times and Stone plus the prices for the beer is about average for what you would find in a convenience store. From the outside it doesn't look that big but once your'e inside it's big. They have just about everything you can think of so in my book this place is a-okay with me! read more
