The vibes and views are amazing if you love Epic. The food is also good but highly recommended going when it's Magical Dining so it's cheaper. Service is good but it could be better for the price. I highly recommend Farmer's Cheese and Scallops.

What a fantastic evening! The whole meal was a flavor explosion from start to finish. That cocktail and appetizer combo was spot on, and the mains and desserts? Absolutely divine! Plus, that bonus view really made the whole experience perfect. The only issue I had was my steaks came out cold, but our server corrected it right away and was very kind and attentive during our visit. If I had to choose a Favorite dish, the farmers cheese platter is a must when here.

Water fountain show

Outside had a wind tunnel but still hot and was melting after 45m when sat at 8p Scallops were a tad salty but we're big. First but was hard same or shell, testing the strength of my teeth Beef medallions were tiny, anything cooked more than medium would have turned them into rocks. First but was way grisly and had to spit it out. There goes 1 out of 3 lil beef bites. Not even 1 standard size of trumpet mushroom. Felt really bloated right afterwards, which usually means it's not good quality meat and too fatty for my body to handle The caramel looked like it was supposed to melt the chocolate dome but it sure didn't. Wasn't too impressed by the dessert but the spicy caramel had a nice kick Service was alright, wasn't really prompt when needed or checked up on until food was done The water show in the park and the fireworks show at the front of the hotel both start at the same time - 9p. The restaurant would have been a primo spot for both but on different sides. There's a long line to go up the elevator so thinking it'll be just as crowded afterwards, we decided to stay on the ground level to exit immediately after the shows and walked back and forth to get glimpses of show the shows. Would have been better if there was a separate time for the shows to enjoy both the whole time but that's not how they roll Subpar wannabe fancy food but saw the tomahawk presentation and that was nice for a large table. The views of the park was up close as you can be from a rooftop. It was great to see it in the daytime and nighttime for all the lighting

Girl, where do I even start? The food with the name-brand Helios? Idk, I'm disappointed. I'm glad I didn't order the seafood platter because the oysters?? As soon as I ate them, I felt like I was eating rocks. Like, why am I biting into small bits of shells? And not just one oyster, all of them. Like, Helios? The name is very extravagant, but the food? Girl, I'm eating rock, paper, scissors. The octopus was semi-hard, like wtf. At least it looked aesthetically good so I'll give them that, but still disappointing. And what was that thin-sliced meat? Idk. I asked the waiter what it was made of and she said she didn't know, then said she'd ask. Then she came back and said it was A5 Wagyu?? Hello? Are you kidding me? It did not taste like A5. It was stringy as hell, didn't melt in my mouth and I couldn't even cut it with my fork. It tasted like dry-cured prosciutto from the store. Like... A5 Wagyu? The food tasted okay overall, but maybe I expected too much from Helios. Omg, I've had oysters in the Midwest that were cleaned better. No rocks or shells landing in my mouth. The octopus there was sooo tender and the Wagyu actually tasted like fat because it is fat, but it melted in my mouth and was easy to cut with a fork. The ambiance was fabulous, I loved it. But we didn't get the seats by the terrace even though I requested it and there were empty tables. Idk why. The service was HAHAHA, hell. It took them 30 minutes just to ask us for drinks. The only reason we came here was because of the hype and the view and I didn't even get the view I wanted, which is whatever. But the food? Horrible. At least it looked aesthetically good.

Visually appealing decor and great view. Music volume perfect for conversations across the table. We enjoyed the food the appetizers adequate for sharing, the scallops and beef medallions were small pirtiins but flavor did not disappoint. Overall satisfied with our meal except for the a night at the opera dessert which was pretty but bland and no flavor except for the lemon curd on top. Adriana our server was energetic, she provided an attentive & pleasent service.

The hopeless romantic

This place is worth the hype. The views are immaculate. You can see all of Epic Universe. We were lucky enough to be seated right by the window and we went at 6:15pm so we got to see the sun set on the park and watch the water show. The first cocktail I got was Eros, it was good, not too sweet and a little on the savory side. My friend and I shared the antipasto. Everything on the board was delicious. The waiter also brought us additional bread without us asking and didn't charge us (I get irritated when you order something meant to be ate with crackers/bread/chips and the restaurant charges you for more). For my second cocktail, I ordered the smoke and mirrors. The smoked maple syrup is what did it for me. I will definitely order this cocktail again. For dessert, we chose to do the hopeless romantic which is a table side experience where the vanilla ice cream is submerged in liquid nitrogen. This was such a fun experience. The only thing to note is that you are limited to 4 hours and it's $125 to park unless you spend at least $50 at Bar Helios.

Somewhat of a small plate place. I was seated at the bar, which I dislike. I ordered the lamb chops. Teeny tiny chops Good for two bites. Received three, served with some awful green sauce, baby onions, and tomatoes. I finished, went to a place in the hotel, and got a ham sandwich with two waters and a Diet Coke. I was pushing a hundred dollars for just me. Lesson well learned.

Amazing restaurant with beautiful views. I highly recommend sitting outside. Even in July when it's scorching hot, there is airflow so I did not sweat sitting outside. The main benefit of sitting outside is you have a gorgeous view of the entire park. Being that we haven't been to the park yet it allowed me to see an aerial view of all the lands. It was also quite entertaining for my kids. I was afraid that this place would be packed but at 5 PM we were the only table outside by the time we left at around 6:30 there were three other tables out there. Inside is beautiful too, but I think outside is where it's at. Our server was absolutely phenomenal. He was attentive and checked in the right amount of time. We ended up getting chicken tenders and fries for the kids to share. Pro tip is there is a kids menu. They just don't advertise it. They don't have printed kids menus, but the server was able to tell us what the options for the kids were. Off the top of my head I believe there was chicken tenders, grilled chicken, and pasta with either cream sauce or red sauce. They all came with either fries or a fruit cup. Then my husband and I got a seafood tower to share. It was a good amount of food for two people, we left absolutely stuffed. The oysters were phenomenal. I loved the tuna sashimi, and the crab was great. All in all a fantastic choice. The drinks are also delicious. I tried the feta cheese drink, which lived up to the hype. It's definitely a unique drink, but if you like feta cheese, you'll absolutely love it. My husband got an old-fashioned and enjoyed it. We were celebrating my son's birthday so he got complimentary gelato. I thought the gelato was amazing and would recommend. This place is a must go to if you were staying at the hotel. Everything was great and I definitely want to come back.

Although on the pricey side, you can't beat the service. If you plan on going to get a great view to watch the fireworks you need to make a reservation. Located at the top of the helios hotel at Universal this is the one of the Better places to eat in universal. The food is served tapas style so we ordered a few plates to try. We loved the cheese plate starter made with farmers cheese, honeycomb and foccacia. I would go again just for this! We tried The zucchini flowers , but not our style but good and the beef medallians cooked perfectly medium rare. I was a little disappointed we didn't get our scallops because they were sold out, but that only means they must be delicious. Dessert was made tableside and included liquid nitrogen that which the seven year old gladly smashed. While you're waiting for dessert, enjoy the spectacular views. Above all, the service from our server was top notch.

This was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. Every single thing I ate was incredible and the bar was beautiful. It also has a great view of the park if you want to see the closing ceremonies! Even though this place is pricey it is 10/10 worth it, make sure to get the mussels if you go and sit at the bar so you can view the beautiful artwork on the ceiling!

Great deal for magical dining! We loved trying different items throughout the menu! We tried the farmers cheese and the patatas bravas for the appetizer and also added a half dozen raw oysters with the pink peppercorn mignonette! The oysters were surprisingly good along with the other appetizers. I had the beef medallions as my entree and they were perfectly cooked medium rare. We had the chocolate dessert and the opera cake. Both were delicious! Overall I thought the magical dining was a great deal and we had a great time! Lots of delicious flavors throughout the every dish we tried. Our server Ben was very nice and accommodating! We definitely recommend for a nice dinner in Orlando.

This restaurant is by far the nicest restaurant in any theme park! You can access the rooftop restaurant and bar from either inside of Epic Universe, as a guest of the hotel or as a regular patron. The aesthetic is truly beautiful and it's a great atmosphere. The bites and drinks were delicious! I couldn't give it a full 5 stars because the service was a little lacking. Our server was inattentive but the hostess were great! I'd probably be back more if they offered a happy hour.

It was the perfect atmosphere for a quick stop on a Wednesday. We came at about 2:00pm and were greeted by the sweetest bar staff and asked to take a seat wherever we'd like! Choosing which burger was the hardest part. Everything sounded AMAZING!!! I ended up trying the Shroom N' Swiss which fulfilled my craving PERFECTLY!!! Such a flavorful burger that I didn't find too over the top. I had a few of my party's truffle fries and they were incredible as well. I will definitely be back here for some burgers and apps whenever I get the craving! So happy I was able to stop by and finally try!

We chose seats at the bar and were greeted promptly by Brian and Rowan. Because there were a lot of people and just the two of them, they were running around taking orders from tables as well as servicing the bar so it did take a little bit to get our drink orders in, but we were enjoying looking through the whiskey library anyways. I started off with a Suncreek blonde ale. It is strawberry blonde ale and it's delicious. My husband started with the Yingling. He keeps hoping they will bring the Kentucky bourbon ale back on tap again. For lunch, I got the whiskey dip which is full of chopped beef with cheese and onions. Served with an herb, dipping sauce, and your choice of side. I opted for the sweet potato waffle fries because they are delicious. My husband got a burger with fries cooked perfectly. Once we are done with our food, we did opt for a taster. My husband had to go through several different bottles before he found one they actually had in stock. That is one of the downside is the whiskey library that is online is not always reflective of what they actually have in stock as he was really looking forward to trying the old Fitzgerald birthday, but alas, they did not have it in stock. He ended up going with the jack Daniels 12 year and really enjoyed it. I opted for the widow Jane 14 year very sweet easy to drink. Great service from Bryan and Rowan always enjoy seeing them behind the bar

He also says it starts at 3:30 and not 3...so he had to go back to check and ask. He also had to "check" if he could "find" happy hour menu; no. So he looked in the register. Nothing; lunch hour prices still populated the system. That said, he asked us three times what we wanted. Drinks? Food? Anything to drink yet? I also asked our dear fella if it's Wing Thursday... uh: "oh, yeah." So the Queen Bee was in the mood for wings. Dry Rub #2, all flats. She said they were "okay." I didn't want any, so I can only hope she did like 'em. They came with the driest and most bland focaccia bread I've had occasion to try in a long time. Simon didn't bother to ask how they were either. I meantime chose to have a 16" half pepperoni (thick-cut) half Paulie's. The latter is meatball, sausage, ricotta and peppers (hot or sweet). They advertise their pies as being well done. Guess what? It wasn't...no char or barely a spot of black on it whatsoever. It was still passable, but for $28 TOTALLY not worth it. It also came out AFTER my dear Queen Bee finished her five little wings. I'll guess the pizza guy was in just as much a hurry as Simon was. We were gonna sit and have a glass of wine (her) and a draft (me). All they had on draught was Bud Light, Sam Adams, Voodoo Ranger and Stella...no thanks! "Uh: you wanna box for the pizza?" So Simon whipped just out the box for the rest of our pizza (4 slices left) and handed me the tablet and just stood there waiting to get it back. Did he ask whether we liked it? Let's just say his level of service was reflected by my level of gratuity. I said to him "I guess you're in a hurry, ain't you, Simon?" It went over his head, as did pretty much everything else in our limited conversations. He asked if we wanted "rewards" for it. No; why would I? Simon totally ruined our time there. Reward enough would be someone teaching that kid how to serve with manners and grace. So THIS experience tells me where NOT to go next time we pass through the neighborhood. Keep your rewards, Anthony. Save 'em for someone ELSE. I'll just take half the underdone pie home and heat it like it should be...or give it to a homeless man on the way home. I've eaten better pizza out of a gas fired oven.

There were cars everywhere, and my first thought was that if we ate there, we'd probably be waiting 40 minutes for food. Boy, was I wrong. You order at the front, and the food comes out almost immediately. So let's go wing by wing. The lemon pepper wasn't my favorite. It wasn't bad by any means, but it just didn't feel like the star of the show, and I'm guessing it's probably not their most popular flavor. Next was the medium buffalo, which ended up being my favorite wing by far. It had the flavor you want from a traditional buffalo wing, with enough heat to remind you that you're actually eating buffalo without overpowering everything else. It also wasn't overly greasy, which made a big difference. I also tried the sweet and spicy Carolina sauce. That might have been the most flavorful of the three. It had a lot going on, but in a good way. But the real star here is the wings themselves. They came out perfectly sauced and were incredibly crispy from the first bite to the last. That crisp was legit. The size was also perfect. They weren't massive, they weren't tiny, just a really good wing all around. I also ordered the onion rings, which surprised me. I figured they would just be one of those throw-in appetizers you don't think much about, but after a few bites, I realized they really care about the food they're putting out. The onion rings were excellent. I'd absolutely come back.
