We stopped in at bar Helios during our visit to epic and it was so beautiful! The view is so nice and a nice escape while we waited out the rain. The drinks were delicious. We didn't have reservations but luckily there were seats at the bar so service was pretty quick.

Ambiance was . Very romantic up there with a view of Epic universe. The cocktails were good, and we got a charcuterie and cheese platter which hit the spot.

It was only $262 to feed four, what a bargain! I'm still leaving a 5-star review because you know it's expensive when you come here. Be warned, it's "shareables" which is some millennial term for "a way to charge you more for less." I forget what we got, I just remember it was expensive and goofy, like some kind of octopus or something. We did the trendy "frozen rose" desert because we'd heard so much about it. (shrug) Whatever. I paid a lot so that we could eat expensive food, leave hungry and watch a water show where one of the circles was down for maintenance. All that being said, why bother to leave a 5-star review? Because I paid a lot of money and I'll be d***ed if I'm leaving a bad review. I paid too much to leave it 4 stars.

Bar Hellos completely exceeded my expectations. The drinks are absolutely amazing and so thoughtfully crafted. The Aphrodite is hands down the best drink on the menu and officially my all time favorite drink. The balance of flavors is perfect and it is beautifully presented. Plus, you cannot beat the view of Epic Universe! The farmers cheese is just as incredible. It is fresh, flavorful, and pairs perfectly with the drinks. It is one of those dishes that you keep thinking about long after you leave. The service is a little slow, but the staff is friendly and the overall experience is still wonderful. The quality of the drinks and food more than makes up for the wait. I cannot wait to go back and order both again.

This bar is an experience for sure. I didn't get the typical photo of the ceiling but when I tell you Universal out did themselves with this park and hotel it's phenomenal. Will go back again! Food came out hot and fresh or chilled if a cold item. The hummus in the photos is now a go-to appetizer. I typically don't like hummus but the waiter sold me on it and it was delicious. The entire menu fits the theme of Greek. After eating there was a beautiful Ariel view of the park Epic universe right on the patio. Expect when coming to the hotel to spend at least $75 at the bar which requires a reservation and leave with that receipt if you do not want to pay the $125 parking fee.

We had a great experience here and what a nice rooftop location overlooking the beautiful new Epic Universe park. We were able to get our reservation day-of for later in the evening, and they were even really helpful in adding a few people on when we arrived. We had a choice of insider outside, and we chose outside. They gave us a great table along the edge overlooking the park... There was a weird railing that actually made it hard to see the park, I feel like they should have high top tables instead... But regardless, it was really nice and we were very pleasantly surprised when we got to watch the nighttime show on the water in Celestial Park, which was incredible. Although I would say five star for the vibes, service, and atmosphere, I knocked a star for the actual food and drink. Nothing was bad, per se, just weird. There was nothing that we tried that we truly enjoyed and would order again, but I appreciate it the diverse options. Would definitely return for a great time, would order new things to try, but would definitely not come hungry.

Bar Helios crowns the top floor of the Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a sleek perch overlooking Epic Universe with a front‑row seat to the nighttime light show. The duck confit empanadillas and patatas bravas were the clear standouts. Rich, crisp, deeply satisfying plates built for sharing and even better when paired with the bar's thoughtful cocktails. The Medusa, with its mix of gin, za'atar‑infused agave, maraschino, lemon, and sparkling grapefruit, was bright and aromatic; the Prometheus leaned warm and smooth with Hennessy, amaretto, honey, and bitters; and Pandora's Box, built on golden‑raisin‑infused vodka, pear, clarified lemon, and sherry. The kind of drinks that all sneak up on you with its elegance. Between the view, the food, and the cocktails, Bar Helios feels like a rare moment of calm and sophistication above the theme‑park rush.

Stopped by for drinks and a quick bite. All of the cocktails were amazing. Delicious and unique. The place has an amazing vibe and the views of the Epic. universe park were amazing! Service was fantastic and we were well taken care of. Probably some of the best service I've had in a while! I was also super excited to hear that they hired the head chef from Pepperoncino to be the executive chef here. Pepperoncino is my favorite Italian restaurant and I can't wait to see what Barbara creates here! Definitely worth a visit!

Stopped by Bar Helios and really enjoyed the experience. The space has a great vibe -- stylish, relaxed, and perfect for grabbing a bite without feeling rushed. I started with a bowl of soup that was smooth, rich, and full of flavor. You could taste the quality right away, and the warm pita on the side was perfect for dipping. Service was friendly and attentive, and everything came out quickly. Just an easy, comfortable spot to unwind and enjoy good food. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Orlando.

The tomahawk steak was absolutely incredible perfectly cooked, insanely flavorful, and easily one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. The ambience was also amazing great lighting, upscale vibe, and a perfect setting for a special night out. That said, the service was unfortunately a major letdown. It was slow, inattentive, and lacked the level of professionalism you'd expect at this price point. Speaking of price, it is definitely on the higher end which makes the poor service even harder to overlook. If they can fix the service, this place would be elite. The food and atmosphere are absolutely there the front-of-house just needs to catch up.

GET ALL ABOUT BEETS!!!!!! It was amazing & I wish I ordered 10 of them! The view is simply breathtaking. The drinks are good but super duper expensive. The King Salmon dish was overrated. Pro tip: Get parking validated by the valet before leaving!

The new hotel overlooking the new Universal Studio Epic Universe. The bar itself is very nice - a circular bar in the middle beneath a starry dome rooftop, and the view from the terrace overlooking the entire Epic ground is stunning - I saw the night version but I'm sure the day version would be great too. Drinks are a bit too sour at first in general but as the ice melts they become better. Food options are limited - especially in the sense that they don't have any sides to order, so for example if you order the lamb chops it would be just the meat and there's no option to add carbs to it to form a full meal. I end up just getting a couple bites and plan to get some food elsewhere. But overall with the view this will always be an iconic bar to visit if you are here for Universal Studio!

However, it is quite fun, when we got there on a Saturday night, they were having a Taylor Swift look alike performance. I absolutely loved it. It turned out it was happening every hour so we were able to watch her perform twice. They also had someone selling jewelry and an artist painting, overall it is such a fun vibe. If you want a standard table, you need to make a reservation, I made a reservation like 15 minutes before and they only had outdoor seating and high tops available. We chose a high top and it was fine. They do have a kids menu so my son was able to order a cheese pizza with a side of fries and the other one ordered a chicken quesadilla with a side of fruit. On the kids menu it says cheese quesadilla but he really wanted chicken, I was surprised the chicken was a bit spicy. He ate a couple bites and then asked for his own cheese pizza after seeing his brothers. All the plates are meant to be shared so they come out whenever they're ready. My older son's cheese pizza came out immediately and then my younger son's chicken quesadilla came out after all our food had been delivered. I think this is what made him want a cheese pizza because he didn't have his own meal for majority of the time we were eating. When we finally ordered his cheese pizza it then took a long time to come out. I'm guessing it's because it's woodfired and his pizza was behind a ton of other pizzas whereas with my older son we must've ordered at a good time. My absolute favorite dish was the marinated cucumbers. It was a light and delicious. It reminds me of what I find at a Japanese restaurant. I also got the butter chicken, it was OK. I didn't find the chicken super tender so I would skip it next time. We also got the maple glazed chicken wings. I found the breading to be overly salty. I ended up taking off all of the breading and my younger son ate a ton of the chicken. I would skip it next time. We got the steak skewers, which were pretty delicious. Again didn't love it so probably would get something else next time. My husband did not like his ribs so he definitely should skip that next time. So overall, the food was OK, but my kids absolutely destroyed their pizza and I love the atmosphere, which is why I'm giving this place four stars. I see that it has great potential. If parking is a problem, I recommend parking at icon park and walking because it's about five minutes away. Our server was super nice, she was a bit slow, but she also had a giant table next to us, which could've contributed to that. I would definitely come back. I enjoyed our experience here.

Instead of ordering from a menu, I trusted him to craft something based on my vibe and somehow, he nailed it. Not once, but twice. It was like he scanned my palate and delivered exactly what I didn't even know how to ask for. Easily the best cocktail I've ever had made for me. Everyone I was with had the same experience. Drinks felt personalized, balanced, and thoughtfully executed. It's rare to find that level of intuition behind the bar. On the food side, I tried the corn ribs, which were a standout in their own way. Unique, flavorful, and an easy choice if you're a fan of corn. They worked perfectly as a shareable appetizer. The overall vibe leans toward a more decadent, intimate experience. It's the kind of place you go when you want to slow down, have meaningful conversation, and enjoy something crafted with care. If you're looking for a cocktail spot that goes beyond the menu and delivers something truly tailored, this place is special.

The staff and people working in their restaurant are amazing Turull's menu features a smattering of larger plates but is anchored in tapas, including the ubiquitous barometer bite tortilla de patatas ($12). Our forecast? Dry and spongy. To resuscitate, pieces of the potato omelet were bathed in the garlicky oil of a neighboring cazuela of gambas al ajillo ($17) -- a cazuela of goodness brimming with sweet, springy shrimp. Another barometer bite, pan con tomate ($8), fared better. Tomato bread is simple in concept, less simple to execute. Bread is the non-negotiable, and the bread at Turull's was sufficiently reminiscent of traditional "glass bread" to impress, crisp-crusted and open-crumbed -- a perfect raft for fresh tomato, olive oil and salt. If you decide to try one of their paella rice dishes, you hey looked great as well but plan on 45 minutes or so before it gets to the table as it is made fresh to order, no exceptions. Honestly, that is the only way to do it.... Who wants reheated paella as that would be heresy! LOL! For dessert we ordered the Flan and the Torta de San Martin, where the torta is a traditional Spanish pastry served with Almond ice cream, and both were very good. Finishing things off with some espresso and boy life was really good at this point. The atmosphere was very welcoming as Fridays and Saturday's they have live music which was in full force during our dinner. As you can imagine, we did take advantage and "cut a little rug" before we left as well! LOL! 5 Stars for beautifully crafted cocktails and a small, but fantastic food menu in an atmosphere…read morethat feels like your cool friends' living room. My favorite thing to enjoy at DBA is their Wednesday girl dinner special. It features a choice of drink (I get a gin martini, but there's a margherita, wine, and beer option), fries, and a caesar salad for $25. You can add fried chicken to the salad for an additional fee, and it's worth it for the lightly battered, tender chicken that they add. This Wednesday special is brilliant and absolutely delicious. The fries are perfect (get the honey mustard!), and the salad would be something I would order time and time again, even off the special. My friend got the double smashburger and the smell of the caramelized onions compelled me to ask for a bite. I'm willing to stray from my fries and salad to enjoy this burger again next time. I'm still thinking about it days later... For dessert, I enjoyed the chocolate olive oil cake (a nod to the beloved olive oil cake at their sister restaurant next door). Take a look at my photos to see this dish in all of its glory. Though it's small, we all shared in the rich dessert and left fully satisfied. Again- big fan of DBA and plan to hit them up much more often now that I've rediscovered their Wednesday special! Where The Strand is an outstanding neighborhood restaurant which happens to also feature an interesting beverage program, dba is an outstanding little cocktail bar which happens to also feature an interesting bites menu. Both do everything they do really well. In terms of drinks, my go-to is the cigarette for breakfast- essentially their take on an old fashioned, but every drink I've ordered has been equally potent and balanced. The drinks have got nuance. I've also ordered a wet gin martini with blue cheese olives and that classic was done to perfection. But, if you aren't a drinker, don't fret- I went with a friend who is pregnant and they were able to concoct a fun mocktail for her as well. in terms of bites, you can't go wrong with the duck flatbread (I have been dreaming about it since!), the pan con tomate, or the cacio e pepe deviled eggs (same as on the menu next door). Next time I'm definitely trying the octopus salad! Finally, ambiance. This spot feels like you're sitting in a good friend's cozy living room. Assuming your good friend has impeccable taste and plenty of time for a curated thrift store haul. They've got records playing great tunes (you'll get some quick quiet moments as they change the vinyls throughout the night) and the lighting is dim.
