Delicious!!! It's been a long time since 1. I've been out of the house to eat at a restaurant and 2. Had amazing Chinese food!! First time visiting this restaurant and will definitely be back next time I'm in the area. Quick friendly service. Clean restaurant, social distancing and mask required. Hubby liked it was buy one get one beer for dine in. That was a nice surprise. We ordered 3 meals: sesame seed chicken, general Tso chicken and Mongolian beef. Ate here for the first time as take out. Did not know if they delivered or not. Food was ready quickly despite the restaurant being full, the service was responsive. Come to find out they do deliver for free over $15 order. Food was great. I have had better Chinese food for sure, however this is by far the best Chinese in this area without traveling inside the beltway. This will replace our usual Chinese food phone call when we don't feel like cooking ourselves. If you live anywhere near Rayford, you need to try this place. We had Salt & Pepper Shrimp, Lettuce wraps, Shrimp Spring Rolls and Egg Drop soup. All great! read more

Solid, if unremarkable, Chinese restaurant. The menu is indistinguishable from every other small Chinese restaurant in the area. It is certainly convenient for the area and was quite clean. It just opened (feb 2016). Food was kind of average for me. Not bad. Not stellar. It doesn't compare to some of the excellent places on Bellaire but is just fine for a neighborhood take out. read more

What a hidden gem, tucked away in an HEB strip center. We are in Spring,TX to visit a relative and found this spot. My kids gave a mixed review, one loved it the other disliked what she ordered. I had the Chinese stir fry lunch special $7.55, my daughter had the shrimp and snow peas with lobster sauce special . This is your typical American Chinese place. We come here because it's very close to our home. Delivery is very quick as well. I wish their fried meat were crispy. Tasty! I ordered take out from here for lunch with my mother. I was satisfied by my experience with this restaurant but not wowed. Hence the 4/5 stars. I ordered over the phone which was easy enough, they got my phone number and repeated my order , but they forgot to take down my name , I was a little confused about that. I went up there not even 10 minutes later and my food was bagged and ready to go, I double checked the bag to make sure the food was correct and everything seemed squared away. As far as the food goes: I had the lunch sesame chicken with fried rice and egg drop soup, my mother had the lunch veggie plate with fried rice and spring rolls. The first thing is I appreciate the portion:price ratio. I had plenty of food and kept some left over for less than $10 a plate. Now, the food. The sesame chicken was very tasty. There was quite a bit of extra sauce but not drowning in it. The egg drop soup was delicious. A little salty for me, but I was pleasantly surprised. The fried rice was okay. Nothing special to say about it honestly, I would've been happy getting white or brown rice and mixing it with the extra sauce. The veggie plate was steamed and came out warm and refreshing. Very good. Instead of getting soup we got the spring roll which was a little disappointing. I was expecting a little more. It ended up being a small fried roll with a little sweet and sour sauce on the side. Tasted pretty good, but I wish it had more. My daughter & I do love coming here the Egg Drop & Sweet & Sour soup is fantastic.... We also love the Fried Pot Stickers.... The only issue as usual is the help.... They just don't listen.... Food is great but they bring it so fast you can't relax..... We ask all the time to slow it down... We've even tried to stagger the ordering of food..... For stereotypical Americanized Chinese food this is the place to be. (Although it is a bit more expensive than usual.) But sometimes you do want a good 'ol order of sweet and sour chicken, which is what I got haha. The restaurant is nice and new. We went during lunch on a Friday and it wasn't busy, which wasn't a surprise given the location. Parking out front was not a problem, as there is a large HEB next door. I'm so pissed writing this review. If I could give zero stars, I would. I ordered food at 7pm to be delivered to my hotel room because I'm without a car. I told the woman taking the order the address and the name of the hotel. 40 MINUTES LATER she calls me back to tell me she's cancelling the order because her driver told her it's too far. I mapped it and it's a 10 minute drive. I gave the name of my hotel and the address when I placed the order. If 10 minutes is too far of a drive, she should have told me that when I placed the order. Not wait 40 minutes and tell me I'm not getting my food. This is a really horrible way to do business. read more

My Wife ordered or dinner from your League City location this evening to surprise me when I got home since I had a long day to allow me to relax since I generally do the cooking. When I got home the food was not here yet which was no problem at all and allowed me to settle in. The order arrived shortly after I arrived. She opened it up and realized only part of the order was correct. My order of Le mein noodles with beef and jalapeños was Stir fried rice with jalapeños. I stated no problem just call and have them correct the order. We were not upset at this point. She called 6 times and no one answered. Than a young girl answers and my wife told her she sent us the wrong order and the lady immediately put her on hold for several minutes. She picks the phone back up and again my wife explained that she only got part of the order right and asked if she could send the correct dish. The girl had a stressful attitude and asked if we could just credit it to our next order? (I still have not eaten!) my wife said well no because I have not eaten. The girl said she had no drivers available to deliver it so my wife said she can deliver it later when the driver was available but the girl said no does she mind picking it up! This has now gotten to a whole new level in conversation so my wife said just refund the money and that we will no longer order food from y'all again and the girl said (sarcastically) that's fine. I guess your company is just fine losing clients. We have been ordering from your business for years. We live in Brittney Lakes for 8 years now so your business has been a blessing so close. Truly atrocious food. I will not mince words here folks. I ordered the pork low mein, pork fried rice, and Kung Pao chicken and they were horrific. No taste whatsover on any of these dishes. I've had better Chinese food out of the frozen food section in the supermarket. The place is clean and pretty. The waitresses are not friendly at all, but that's OK if the food is decent, but it's not. My brother-in-law had the orange chicken and he says he liked it, but I don't trust his judgement since you could put barbecue sauce on a brick and he would think it's delicious! Lunch specials are great prices. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken to go with cream cheese wontons. Wontons were delicious and great portions for two people. The rice was a bit dry but flavor was great. The chicken was small strips with batter and sweet/sour sauce on the side. They give lots of sauce for your entree and appetizer. Pretty good place to go. The waitress' were super nice to us with our 1.5 yr old son in tow. Not too busy during the weekdays as you'd imagine. Standard American Chinese food. Hot, good, low cost. Of all the Chinese restaurants on Rayford, Bao's Cafe has the best Hot and Sour soup. It still lacks in ingredients and is a bit sweet, but flavor is better than the others. Szechuan beef with scallop is good too. I really enjoyed the Lo Mein. The shrimp that came with the noodles needs flavor. Will definitely be back to try other items. It was the first time eating here and the food was really good, fresh and in portion sizes were huge. We have the crab rangoons and potstickers amazing. The sweet and sour chicken and chicken lettuce wraps could have feed up to four people with those two entrees. We will definitely be back soon. read more

I live about 6 miles away, and they still managed that. All of the ingredients were very crisp and fresh. The chicken is all white meat, and the portions are huge!
