I was invited to the soft launch of the Bao Buns pop-up at Guildford Town Centre in Nov 2025. I meannnn.... Why wouldn't you rate this 5-star? Their Bao Buns are just perfect. I don't know what else to say!! They are my all time favourite vendor at the Richmond Night Market...so when they invited me to their pop up, I knew I had to be there! These guys serve up the best desserts I've ever had. Seriously. Perfectly soft, fluffy, and ooey-gooey! I wish I had the appropriate words to describe how every bite of Bao Buns feels. Everything is just that good. They are dangerously delicious! Soft, gooey, warm, and soulful. There's no way you eat this and don't agree. Their Bao Buns are to die for! Their buns are warm, thick, gooey, and absolutely heavenly--each bite melts in your mouth. Every bite felt indulgent and comforting. Warm, pillowy soft, perfectly gooey and soo tasty! Omg I will be dreaming about their Bao Buns forever... so so good! I just can't get over them! Honestly, 11/10, delicious! The Cookies & Cream definitely took the cake for me! Bao Buns are crispy on the outside, warm and gooey inside, and absolutely unforgettable. It's fresh, hot, fluffy, and with the generous frosting - world best indeed. Jayden was soooo nice at the front! He made me and my uncle feel welcome right at the start. The food is always AMAZING! It was such a vibe! Jayden was really helpful, overly positive and not in a bad way, super fun, hardworking, and kept everything tidy! Jayden has a deep love for the store and shows it so well through everything that he does!!! He spoke and connected with everyone who needed or talked to him. TRULY LIVES UP TO THE TITLE OF THE BEST BUNS IN TOWN!!! Got the Apple Cinnamon and the Fererro Rocher. PERFECT way to end off a rainy day. The service was impeccable as always! I love interacting with the staff at Bao Buns. Whether at the night market in Richmond or at this pop up, they never fail to make your day a little bit sweeter! its sooooo good. we ate the food court then had dessert here. it's a pop up shop for now. The woman who welcomed us had good recs and served us water and answered qns we had about the location. The owner serves the bao buns with a warm, lively greeting. We ordered the pistachio bao bun, def rec! The decor is so clean and the music they played was really. Overall we'd go back the next time and we'd be really sad when their pop up shop closes :( read more

I've been coming to and supporting Bao Buns since there booth days and anytime their food truck was announced I would be there. The owners have the best personalities and are very passionate, they've recognized me multiple times and made me actually feel valued to be there. Definitely exceeded our expectations!! My family ordered cookies and cream, blueberry crumble, and strawberry Nutella. We were super happy to see that they also sell half sized bao buns as we came in closer to 10pm and just wanted something to satiate our sweet toothes without feeling too full. Such a great vibe everytime I grab bao buns! Owners and staff make you feel welcomed always. Buns are always fresh and topped off with the greatest quality of toppings. If you can't finish a whole one they also have mini baos where its half the size! Theres alot of seating inside and tons of parking in the mall. read more

It's pretty much a donut with ice cream on top. The bun is kinda of more like bread. Real good ice cream, and it's a decent size. 16 without tax for one, it is pretty expensive, but it is still real tasty. Dude at the till was nice took 3$ off each $25.10 total with tax. read more

excellent place in Surrey Guildford town Centre mall wait dessert place for a hot bun with creamy ice cream on top. They got different options. I had their salted caramel bun and it was so good. Definitely would recommend coming back here and having a bun again read more

Sooooooo good. I would give 4.5 if I could. I get that it's a pop up but I think filling the space a bit more would help with the ambiance. Feels too spacious. Maybe turn up the music a little more? But I definitely will return and I highly recommend!! read more
