I place an online order from here. They have amazing online specials when you spend a certain amount of money so definitely take advantage of that. I ordered a total of 3 Bahn Mi Sandwiches. Their Classic, Curry Chicken and Lemongrass Chicken. All three were really delicious and I was not able to pick a clear favorite out of the three. I also got a free order of their Crab Rangoon for spending more than $25. I ordered their pot stickers as well but these weren't that great. Well, that was pretty disappointing. All alone in the dining room at lunch, and I finally had to go to the kitchen to flag someone down for service. The secret to a great Bahn Mi sandwich is fantastic bread. This wasn't. It was just a typical roll. And there wasn't a lot of filling, although it tasted okay. Certainly not good enough to name a restaurant after. There are dozens better in town. The rest of the menu is an odd mix of Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese foods. We tried the Mongolian chicken and it was decent. With a $20 order you get free egg rolls, and there is a reason they are free. I'm not sure how an egg roll can not be hot. Perhaps they are a frozen product that is baked? The inside was more like ground coleslaw, and just tepid--a bit concerning since they were supposedly "chicken flavor". The Vietnamese iced coffee was good. I came here for lunch with a friend and we both got the pork bbq banh mi sandwiches and they were delicious! The baguette was fresh and fluffy and the meat was flavored well and there was plenty of filling of carrots, daikon radishes, jalapeño, and cilantro. I love that they cut the sandwich in half for us as well. When you walk in you order at a kiosk, and it was very straightforward and easy and I like that there is water on the side that you can grab before you head to whatever table you would like to sit at. The service was friendly and swift and I would definitely come back to try some of the other menu items and sandwiches. Food was good! The place was not crowded at all on Sunday night which I thought was not a good sign but the food taste proved me wrong. Good value too! Only concern was the only restroom ran out of soap and paper towels and even though I told the staff upon the beginning of our visit. Their quality can be a bit inconsistent (sometimes the meat on their sandwiches is dry), but I was here yesterday for lemongrass chicken sandwiches and papaya salad... and everything was fresh, delicious and well-priced. They have a full plastic shield around the cash register and food prep area... and customers can use their handy electronic menu and credit card input for contactless ordering. Experience: Ordered take out for this specific review. At this time, there is currently no dine in. Place seems really cool to sit in, but it is really tight and small. Parking: I definitely had a difficult time finding parking and that was just to temporarily put my hazards on. At the same time, I did come here on a Friday night in Lakeview, so it was expected. It was also observed to be only paid parking. That being said, if anyone knows any free spots, please let me know! Worth: 100% worth visiting. This place was surprisingly really good. My friend spotted the sign and we shared a Chicken Curry Bánh Mi Sandwich. Just the right amount of savory and spicy! Not spectacular not bad by any means. Plenty of wontons which is a plus. Crab Rangoon was a 2/5 at best. Flavor was there but there was almost no filling at all. Just deep fried wrappers. Very disappointing. They ran a 2 for one deal. Even if you take two fillings and put it into one, it'd still be lacking quite a bit. Soup dumplings were also a 2/5. No sauce included. Randomly stumbled upon their yelp page because I was craving Viet food. This place was ideal for the both of us because while I was craving Viet food, my friend is vegetarian. They had a good amount of vegetarian options. I ordered the BBQ Pork Banh Mi Sandwich and my friend ordered the Lemongrass Tofu Banh Mi Sandwich. The BBQ pork was absolutely delicious. The tender meat and the crispy pickled daikon were a perfect combination with the soft baguette. Second time ordering the lemongrass tofu Banh Mi and it was just as good as the first time. My roommate ordered the vegetarian spring rolls and veggie pho. She said everything was delicious. The spring rolls here are enormous.
