Popping onto Yelp just to try to bring people's attention to this criminally under-appreciated…read morelittle restaurant. I'll admit to having kind of written it off for a long time due to the weird menu/concept (it's hard to trust that a restaurant is going to serve you a burger, some empanadas and a plate of pad Thai and execute any or all of them competently), but the good people at Fusion are serving food that's truly, honestly about three times better than it needs to be (caveat: we've stuck to the more Asian sections of the menu, so I won't make any bold claims about the burgers). The Chinese portion of our family unit said that my drunken noodles reminded him of the stuff that a street vendor sold outside of his middle school, which like, IYKYK (if you don't know, this is about the highest praise a plate of noodles can get). I'm not normally a major pad Thai enthusiast, but the version here was well-balanced and flavorful, not just kind of sweet and gloppy like a lot of local versions, and the broth for the chicken noodle soup is also truly random-SE Asian-street-cart level flavorful. If that wasn't enough to sell you on this place, the draft Sapporo is five bucks. In conclusion: please come here support these nice folks so they can continue to make above-par food for many years to come.

I will admit at first I was a little nervous, the restaurant only had a total of four menus so we had to share, and we were told the bartender hadn't showed up that day. Nonetheless, I immediately got a good vibe from the guy working there. The menu had a Colombian section, a burger section and an Asian section. We all stuck with Asian dishes. It quickly became clear that the guy taking our order was the only one working. He got to work making the meals for six people. While he was cooking away, another large group of at least seven people arrived and sat themselves. You'd never know there was one guy doing everything all alone because the food was beautifully presented, all dishes were served together and man was it delicious! Everyone was very happy with their meals and we all got a variety of dishes. This is clearly a small business and definitely worth checking out. The one guy there was working so hard, but was so friendly and still attentive, despite manning the place alone. I will definitely be back to try out more

If a viet restaurants spring rolls are good, that means their food is obviously good as well! The skin was crispy and more doughy so I really like it! My partner got the grilled beef slices over rice and he really enjoyed it as well. He usually doesn't like Vietnamese food but he gave this a thumbs up! Van's also very generous with the portion! I got the Bun Bo Hue. I like how they wrapped the beef separately when they gave the takeout. The noodles were the perfect thicc noodles that I like. The soup was good however it's not as spicy as other BBH's are. But still good!

They filled our water glasses without asking and checked in on us to ensure a good experience. They have a wine menu too. It was so hard to choose! We started with two apps to share-summer rolls and spring rolls. They come with pickled veggies and dipping sauces. The summer rolls were fresh and fat! The spring rolls had a little different coating but they were good and crunchy. I had the grilled chicken with crushed peanuts and vermicelli. The chicken was a nice big charbroiled chicken breast perfectly cooked! The presentation was so colorful! Enough for a few meals. They do have a fruit fly problem. That was a bit annoying. Other than that it was a great experience and a good meal! Apps, drinks and meals for three was under $140.

Honestly disappointed When I walked in there was nothing…read morereally wrong Has the typical vibe of a Japanese restaurant in the north east. What really got me was the guy in behind of the counter was wiping his hand on his nose.. Nothing crazy then.. He does it again And again.. he gos to the back so I then go to the bath room From there after coming back He was in the back to frying my food. I mentioned to him everything and asked if he washed his hands In stead of him telling me yes he's like it's fine and we do it like this... After a back and forth I just got my money and left. Idk what to really say cause I know this is someone's business (Not the guys behind the counter cuz I asked him) so I don't want to just bash these people I think that shit is just wild

After a long day of this and that, we decided to treat ourselves to some Asian food. And since this…read moreplace was just down the street and had recently opened, it seemed like a good opportunity to try them out. We had a coupon in a book that was mailed to us, otherwise I never would have known this place existed. It took over a failed Subway restaurant (which was right around the corner from Mr. Subb), and I was surprised an Asian takeout place moved in because right around the corner (next to the Mr. Subb) was another Chinese take out place. Sure, this place has dine-in options. And it claims to be Asian Fusion. Anyway, we both ordered the same dish: General Tsos chicken. I had brown rice, and my wife had fried rice. The softspoken guy who answered the phone was friendly and told us our order would be ready in 10-15 minutes. For a Sunday night, they must have been slow. I got there with time to spare and watched him cook our food. The dining room is cute, though I would guess the fixtures were used as some were already torn and worn down. The chef's bar had nice blue lighting and features, and there was some fish out in the cooler wrapped up in plastic. I don't eat sushi so I cannot comment on whether this is the way sushi bars are, but it seemed interesting. Our food was served in Japanese style take-out containers. There were five individual compartments filled with the chicken/broccoli, the rice, the spring roll (or egg roll, depending on interpretation), some duck sauce, and packets of soy sauce. It traveled a lot better than those white cardboard boxes or round plastic containers. However, as my wife noted, they cost more too. I saved my containers to use for other projects. The food was step above regular takeout fare. I can't say if the recipes were better, if it were fresher, or if the travel containers helped it fare better. There was less sauce on it, which likely helped. Both rice types used Japanese short grain, which was fine by me but not what you normally get with Chinese takeout. Also, it wasn't spicy at all. And the portions were smaller than most, yet the prices were much higher than most. Two combo meals were $34.00 before tip. I know of places to go for really cheap, bad Chinese food (buffets), and places to go for really expensive, high-quality Chinese food. As for take-out, though, the lines blur a bit. I want to like this place, but I love the restaurant around the corner. I don't see how both can succeed. Since it is primarily a sushi restaurant, perhaps that is the niche they should focus on.

This review is for Yono's, not dp American, that is adjoining. Many years ago, I had dinner, and…read morethe experience was upscale, and the food was good. My most recent visit was quite the contrary. I made a reservation, and upon check-in, the hostess was confused about my name and the number attending. Following an awkward wait, we were seated in the "upper" area with poorer quality seats and tables compared to the "lower" main dining level. The table settings in this area had no table lamp, and the general lighting was dimmer. The table itself had foldable sections underneath that were hitting our legs. After seating, we were left unattended for about ten minutes. Once the waiter finally arrived, they apologized and offered to get us going quickly. Their dialogue and demeanor came off as rushed, which was unpleasant. After noticing there were several open tables in the main dining area of the restaurant, I asked to be seated elsewhere given the awkwardness and seclusion of the table. The waiter responded by saying that the table was selectively set up per my request for a private table. I use standard language when reserving tables via OpenTable, Resy, etc., explicitly asking for a corner table or booth, and have never encountered confusion or been put in a different section entirely from the main dining area. Additionally, if the section was specifically reserved only for us, my presence would not have gone unnoticed for so long. When we moved, we still did not receive a corner table even when there was availability. Rather than continue playing musical chairs or hear more excuses, we accepted what was given. On to the food. We ordered oysters, tuna tartare, grilled octopus, lobster fried rice, and the crème brûlée dessert. I'll preface by saying that we do not waste food, so even when not ideal, we will consume the served portion. The oysters were fresh, but the mignonette sauce was added with a dropper by the waitress, and no lemon or other sauce was provided. Very strange. The quality and freshness of the tuna tartare were subpar. It was a bit firm and flavor-wise, it was unappealing. The grilled octopus was a small portion and firm and chewy. For $38, it was shocking in price and lack of quality. The lobster fried rice was mildly dry and only small bits of lobster were provided. It seemed like one claw was chopped into tiny pieces and added to the rice. Another pricey dish at $33 for the quality. The dessert was nice but lacked flavor. Overall, the food was a disappointment and a far cry from my previous experience. Lastly, the vibe and attire of the patrons were unexpected. Understanding that Yono's is attached to a hotel and is open to everyone, we still did not anticipate people in shorts, sandals, and casual attire. Although it was after 7 PM, there were many children dining, and that negatively impacted the ambience, especially when you're trying to have an elegant night. Yono's bills itself as an upscale, fine-dining restaurant. Our experience on this visit was disappointing, and we would not return.
