This is my all time favorite place. I could not recommend this enough times, to enough people. Malisa, Mark, Bo, and team are some of the best people around and it feels like going to a friend's house for dinner when you go. The food is phenomenal, my go-to is panang curry with salmon, crusty crab and an espresso martini. However, if your first time trying my tried and true recommendation is Sadudee chicken and you had me at hello or butterfly pea tea (NA) For dessert, you can not go wrong. Fried ice cream is probably my most ordered, but my very close second favorite is mango sticky rice with a small side of ice cream. The plants, soft lighting and music make for a relaxing experience. I ordered takeout because I was in town for work and it was after working hours. I asked for the drunken noodle with chicken, extra spicy. They asked how spicy on a scale of one to five, I said four, they said ... "hmmmm", I asked, is that too much? they replied "that's too much for me". So I cut it down to three and it was perfect. It's everything Thai food should be, spicy, savory, sour, sweet. The hostess that brought out the food and handled the payment for takeout was friendly in a genuine way. The venue here is pretty big but there is only a couple of waiters so the service is slow. We had the biggest group of a table of 5. The food here was ok as I've had better. 5/5!!! The food is sooooooo delicious!!! The downside is that it's far from where I live. I came here last week with my friends after hike. I forgot to take lots of pics because I was soooo hungry. The owner (the Thai auntie) was super nice! I order mango curry with riceberry, but she messed up the order and thought I ordered massaman curry. But, she right away made my order (this is the reason I didn't take pic--starving!). Oh, one thing I like from this place is that they have riceberry rice!! I miss this rice. I grew up eating this. My mom usually mix riceberry rice with sticky rice and palm sugar with coconut cream as dessert. Amazing! Anyways, I love that this place has that rice. The mango curry is rich in flavor, generous in meat and mangoes+pinneapple. Super delicious! Aside from mango curry, I ordered hot thai tea, which is good. No sugar, but I still kinda taste the distinct thai tea taste--the best thing is you can get a refill. For dessert I ordered the mango sticky rice. Authentic level of deliciousness for Asian dessert = not too sweet. They color their sweet sticky rice with butterfly pea and it was not too sweet. Perfect! Mango was a little sour but still good. We were in town for a visit and decided to come here for my partner's birthday dinner back in March. When we arrived there were a few other patrons, but there's a lot of space so everyone was able to spread out. During our time there, they had a lot of customers who seemed like regulars (dine in and takeout), which tells you a lot about a place. Plenty of space for groups. We were there on a Sunday, so there was only one server, but she managed her multiple tables (including one larger group) with ease. She was very friendly, gave great suggestions on the menu, and was a pleasure to talk to. She gave us a fried ice cream on the house for the birthday celebration. I don't remember all that we ordered, but it was all fantastic. My partner got the green curry with tofu and loved it. I believe I had pad see eew and I cleared the plate. We also got this special drink that changes colors when you add lemon. Quite a spectacle! We were so glad we picked Sadudee for the birthday celebration. A perfect lowkey restaurant with fantastic food and even better service. We'll happily return next time we're in town. read more

Had the most excellent dinner at Sadudee's Thai Food a couple of weeks ago! Their Tom Yum Goong (Tom Yum - soup with shrimp) was amazing, and I had a special with Salmon - I was not familiar with it, but owner recommended it. It was fantastic. The wine list was perfect. There were two separate couples there as I arrived, which was about 1 1/2 hours away from closing that night. One couple left and the friendly owner got into a great conversation with the other couple and myself! Plenty of room and beautifully decorated with live plants! I don't go out often anymore, but this place is a treasure and within walking distance from my home! Do yourself a favor and try some of Wynantskill's growing restaurant assortment! So far best Thai spot in the Capital Region. It's been disappointing after going to various spots around Albany. All ain't bad, one is pretty okay, but coming from Queens-we are going have authentic flavorful standards. This spot have a berry pea flower lemongrass sweet tea which all natural nice and unique. Good black/purple rice extra $1. Only lady running everything was nice and attentive. Thom kha was good but added lime and just right! Lemongrass chicken was yummy balance sour sweet slight spice. Wow! Just came up from New York City. Didn't think anything would be that good around here compared to the diversity of options we have down there. This place is probably better than any Thai place I've been to in the city. We had pineapple fried rice and drunken noodle. Holy crap so good. The pineapple fried rice is not overly greasy or anything, it's extremely light but incredibly delicious. And the drunken noodles kick a**. Nice touch of spice, noodles cooked just right. We tried this Thai restaurant for the first time when it moved to its new location in Wynantskill. It's now one of our top go to spots. My favorite meal is the Peanut Entree. My daughter has celiac disease and they have quite a few gluten free options. Her favorite is the pad Thai. She has never gotten sick after eating here. We did tome out so, some of the noodle flavors may have been more prominent of we had eaten it on the restaurant FYI. Still, many dishes did have some awesome flavor. The pad Thai and drunken noodles were a bit bland when we got them home but, maybe it had something to do with the noodles soaking up the limited sauces. We got salmon mango curry and chicken green curry and both were amazing. We did buy 4 entrees but seemed to only get 2 portions of rice on the side bit, maybe they can fix that? I just had the most amazing Pad Thai! The Pot Stickers were also good, but the Pad Thai was so perfect that it was a hard act to follow. The seasoning couldn't be better, and the shrimp added in was just the right size. It's my first time with Sadudee and I can't wait to try more of their menu items. My husband and I went on Valentine's Day and we were able to get a table right away. We were seated and given menus. We sat for 20 minutes before given water and even longer before we were asked to give our order (~30 min). Then, we had ordered an appetizer. It was delivered and we were given no napkins or silverware at all. There was only 1 person waiting tables, delivering food, making drinks, etc. And she was nowhere nearby to ask for our utensils and napkins. We ended up having to eat a crab appetizer with our hands and no napkins. The food in the other hand was VERY good. My husband got crispy duck with a ginger sauce over rice noodles and I got mango curry with pork over rice noodles. I would go back because of how good the food was. My only thing is that they are extremely short-staffed. The poor waitress was doing everything and would walk by/ ignore tables that needed to order/hadn't even gotten waters due to people lining up at the door, food needing to be brought to tables, etc. They really need to have more people working.... read more
