I was shocked how much food I got and for such a good price! I got egg noodles with chicken and of course allllll the veggies. But even still they kept telling me I could add more veggies. Even after it cooked by bowl was FULL. I couldn't come close to eating it all and was able to have it the next day for dinner. Plenty of sauce - not dry at all. I got sriracha ginger, not very spicy just FYI. Everything was cooked well - and fast. They even bring your food to your table. I was shocked how good the food was. Tried something new today and hubby and I ended up going to the Bowl on wolf rd right next to the holiday in. Express across from Whole Foods. Was pleasantly surprised when we walked in. Place was cute and inviting. Loved the fact you can pick as many veggies as you want in your stir fry or salad. I went with a chicken and veggie stir fry with spicy Chajang Gochu sauce. Hubs got chicken and veggie stir fry with the siracha ginger sauce along with an order of the pork potstickers. Sauce for potstickers was delicious. Bowls were also very good mine a little sweeter but more spicy. If you like ice tea highly recommend their teas that are brewed in house. Mango green tea was delish and peach oolong tea was good a little too sweet for me but good flavor. Definitely recommend this place and we will be back. read more

The bowl is a fantastic place to get a great stirfry meal at a reasonable price. No matter what you get or combo you put together, it is always the most delicious meal. I go with the chicken and the shrimp with garlic butter sauce. Sometimes I will change up and add rice noodles or maybe I'll do a chicken and steak combo with mushrooms, onions and broccoli. It doesn't matter what you order. It's always delicious. I will usually top it off with a mango or green tea. The people there are super nice. It was my turn to pick a place to eat, my wife had told me about this restaurant, and so I was intrigued enough to come. The premise is that you can order a hot noodle dish by selecting some noodles from a variety of choices (egg, rice, spaghetti), vegetables (carrots, broccoli, mushrooms, etc.), proteins (beef, chicken, etc.) and sauces and they will cook it in a rotating drum which tosses everything around to simulate a wok stir fry. They also have salad options which are pick-as-you-go. I like stir fries but when I make them at home I always mess up the timing of something and they end up greasy, overly salty, containing mushy noodles, or overcooked vegetables. Sometimes all of the above. Yuk! My entre here was a noodle bowl with rice noodles, chicken, and vegetables finished with Teriyaki sauce. I selected rice noodles as I assumed they would be the least likely to overcook. I was correct... they were great. None of my vegetables was overcooked though the broccoli was pretty close. Unfortunately, everything was still greasy and that was probably due to the oil they squirted in during the cooking to prevent sticking. It was just too much. Worse, the Teriyaki flavor was non-existent. I would rather have it be too prominent then MIA. That being said, I had a fun meal. It was a couple of steps above mall food court Chinese, but nowhere close to restaurant quality stir-fry food. It was more in line with take-out that steams in the plastic container in transit. Could I make it better at home? Maybe, maybe not. If I come back, I might ask them for more sauce in a cup to add myself at the table. read more

Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. I usually peruse online menus before visiting a new spot, but the online info wasn't really helpful so some help at the store was needed. Ordered two noodle bowls to go: one with egg noodles and Thai chili sauce and the other with rice noodles and teriyaki sauce. The bowls were reasonably priced and the portions were large. However, the egg noodles were a letdown. They were very mushy and overcooked. I wasn't a big fan of the Thai chili sauce, though it was plentifully applied. The rice noodles were better cooked and still retained a little bite. The teriyaki sauce also has better flavor, but there wasn't enough of that in the bowl so it was a little bland. Although a substantial portion of chicken was given, the portion of veggies was a little lacking. The chicken was of better quality than I was anticipating, but just lacking in flavor. All of the ingredients looked fresh and the location was clean. I wasn't blown away by the food, but maybe another choice would have been better. Location is very convenient to the Colonie Center Shopping complex. Parking is a little confusing, as you need to go behind the orthodontist to the back lot. read more

I LOVE this place! Simple and straight to the point, which is refreshing. Food is FAIRLY priced as well! Which is such a rarity nowadays! Because of that I will continue to support them and buy from them because you don't feel like you're being ripped off..like most restaurants make you feel like. I really love the rice bowls (more than the noodle bowls). So filling that you can even just have the veggie rice bowls and it's sooooo filling and as an avid meat eater that is very refreshing to me. I really enjoyed this place. They use automated stir fry machines that spin continuously to cook each bowl. The owner is really nice is let's you sample dressings and flavors. There are a ton of options for sauces. It is also really nice they you can hand select each ingredient to put in your stir fry and salad. I've had both the salads and stir fry's and both are good. I was trying to deciding to go to with 3 or 4 stars and wound up with 4. We ordered delivery through Yelp/GrubHub . The flavors were good and the food arrived piping hot. We all ordered noodle bowls. Three of us got custom chicken bowls. Mine had chicken, broccoli, mushrooms, onions and cabbage with egg noodles and basil sauce. It was very light on the vegetables which surprised me. I definitely wanted more broccoli. The noodles were a little over cooked. I did like the flavor and temperature though. My husband got a sausage bowl with Teriyaki Sauce and he enjoyed it. My youngest son's Thai Curry chicken bowl was the worst of all. They forgot the chicken!!!! Again the flavor was great but how can you forget the main ingredient?! My other son had a Chicken Teriyaki bowl and loved it. There is a lot of oil in the sauces so they aren't low in calories but they do have salad bowls and sandwiches on the menu too. I want to be, but I'm not a fan. The sauces don't hit like you would expect, somehow taste more of the oil from the cooking. I saw someone else mention in their review that thee sauce flavors seem to be MIA and that's exactly how I would describe it. For me, the sauce and seasoning is EVERYTHING. It doesn't taste bad, I just wanted it to be better somehow. Tip: ask for more sauce on the side if you're at all like me. I've done two different hot bowl options on two different visits and I don't know, do they need better protein and vegetable options? Not sure why I wasn't impressed. Also noticed on last visit that the floors, corners, etc weren't as clean as the first time. I also found it pricey for what it is. Walked into work and immediately realized I have no lunch for tomorrow. Did a little google search and noticed this place opened up! Let me just say delicious!! The food is very fresh, the spicy cashew dressing has such a nice pop of spice and flavor and the chicken was cooked nicely, it was juicy and also had a great flavor of its own. My favorite part though was the Tea! the tropical mango green tea isn't too sweet, it's just refreshing and has a little b of fruit at the bottom which is nice. Want to know what makes it better?
