This place is small and cozy and unique (owners are a couple where the wife is showcasing her Thai heritage and the husband his Mexican heritage which is pretty cool). My husband said his burrito was the best he's had in the area because it was grilled nicely, the salsa had some good heat and was so fresh tasting. We will definitely return soon to try some of their Thai menu offerings.

We decided to give it a try. It is a rather small restaurant but pleasant inside. We were immediately greeted by a very friendly woman who I inferred was the owner. We perused the menu and, of course, I ordered a chicken burrito. My wife ordered a cheese burrito - giving in to my "why not get a burrito" suggestion. It took a few minutes- not long- for our food to arrive. It is made to order and not just sitting around. The burritos arrived hot and the filling was plentiful. Several times the owner came over to ask if everything was ok and to see if we had any additional requirements. She was extremely friendly. Although I was totally full after downing my hefty burrito I ordered churros for dessert. They arrived with whipped cream and a chocolate drizzle. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant. The only difference I will consider on my next visit will be the possibility of carrying me to my car - since it is highly likely that I will overstuff myself self again! PS: this restaurant also offers Thai cuisine and we overheard other diners remarking how good their Thai dishes were.

I read the Yelp reviews and put Jasmine Thai on my list. Glad I did. The main menu is clearly organized and easy to understand which is always a good thing. There were separate menus for Desserts and for Beverages. We shared the Calamari ($8.) as an appetizer. It was not fried and breaded but served with a mildly spiced sauce with tiny peanut pieces. Excellent! Beautiful presentation! The gracious attentive hostess/server helped me select Jasmine Eggplant with noodles & Chicken. She told me some customers come for that dish. Wow! Pieces of tender savory eggplant and chicken in a richly flavored sauce. Eggplant was the star! I asked for ginger, and I was heard. My grandson had Drunken Noodles with chicken. He liked it, but he liked my dish better. We shared each dish. Yum! I gasped when I got the check. Each lunch was only $10. which is incredible for the quality! The restaurant has many tables and booths. Strong points: Excellent service Creative presentations of food, garnishes Clean Colorful, ethic looking tablecloths under glass Parking in front and on side I look forward to returning for lunch or for dinner. We had a Volcano sushi roll which we both agreed was probably the tastiest and best sushi roll we've ever had (and we've both been to Japan multiple times). For our entrée, we both ordered the Yellow Curry with Shrimp. Sooo good! Full of potatoes, carrots, onions, peppers, pineapple, and shrimp boiled in a curry and coconut sauce and served with white rice (which I immediately stir into the bowl). My only complaint is like most places, they leave the tails on the shrimp which forces you to get your hands dirty when you have to fish the shrimp or to remove the tails. Never understand why most restaurants do that in a dish like this. Anyway, it was all delicious! Service was prompt, attentive, and very friendly. The ambiance is casual and comfortable and on the plain side. None of the gaudy decorations you often find in a touristy restaurant. They've made this place all about the quality food and service while maintaining a clean and pleasant environment. We will definitely be back again soon!

The place looks like a little residential house, but there is good signage indicating it's the restaurant. We tried the fried pork wontons and the fried vegi spring rolls, the drunken noodles and the pineapple curry. The spicy ranking was 1-4 chilis, and ordered a 3 for the curry. They asked to confirm, 3 out of 5 or 3 out of 4. I said 3 out of 4. The spring rolls and pork wontons were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The noodles were exactly the right amount of chewy, and the sauce was salty and sweet, and it included lots of veggies mixed with the noodles. The curry was spicy, but not crazy burn-your-face-off spicy. The pineapple chunks were small, which I really like so you can get a piece of pineapple in every bite. It definitely made the food taste better by eating it lakeside with homemade cocktails.

We were told when we went to pick up, that the phone line is on the same line as the credit card machine, which is why the calls kept going right to voicemail. I love a good Thai curry, and went for the Red Curry with Tofu ("Thai curry prepared with green beans, zucchini, red & green peppers, peas and basil in red curry coconut milk sauce. Spicy.") We ordered for dinner, and my meal was $14 and came with a scoop of rice. I was a bit unimpressed with the sauce, which seemed a little watery, and I would definitely describe it as watered down. I think it would have been much more flavorful if it was thicker or more concentrated. The menu also says this dish is spicy, but I only detected a little bit of heat to it. Normally I find myself needing rice to go with curry, but this was not the case. There was some fried eggplant in the curry, which was fantastic, but the green beans seemed undercooked and overall, I was underwhelmed. (I get some very flavorful and delicious Thai Red Curry with tofu for almost half the price at the Chinese place up the road, so I was disappointed with both the food and the portion). My husband ordered the Pad See Ew, a Thai standard that he has enjoyed many times over the years at different establishments. We both tried this and agreed that like my dish, this was also a bit bland. The menu has a lot of choices on it, and I hope that the issues we had were simply an issue of this restaurant getting their bearings, but I don't see us ordering in the near future.

It's a quaint spot in a quaint town, and honestly, I went in with tempered expectations. I figured it might not compare to the elevated, flavorful Thai food I'm used to in Los Angeles. I had accidentally ordered the wrong item and needed to cancel it, and the staff was incredibly kind and flexible about removing it. That level of graciousness really leaves an impression. The house salad was so good, I genuinely wished it came as a full main dish. I also had the vegan mock chicken Penang curry, and that absolutely did not disappoint.
