Service is the same as every Chinese restaurant not the best. But the food on other hand was NUTSSS. We paid around 35$ after tips per person which doesn't come on the cheaper end but it was super filling. We got basa fish soup dish, spicy beef and spicy fried boneless chicken. The fried boneless chicken dish's peanuts were not crunchy as the previous time that I came. The free side dish was radish this time, preferred the beans one from last time tbh. The coconut milk drink was sooo good the packaging looks sketchy but damn the drink was phenomenal! The sticky rice with brown sugar syrup was comforting , great way to end the meal! Recommend to come w a group of friends so you can try a lot of dishes!! Also in this economy , pack the leftovers without the meat to go and you can always fry some protein at home to cook it!

The salad was so outstanding I ordered another one instead of desert! Spoiler alert, we ended up ordering the lemon tart too because I just ate two salads so I earned desert. The warm, rustic interior with exposed brickwork and intimate dining spaces provided a cozy, welcoming setting that instantly charmed everyone at the table. The service was remarkably thoughtful and engaging, ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience from beginning to end. The food exceeded expectations once again: the decadent Pulled Pork Poutine and crispy Salmon Cakes were an absolute hit, while the rich Wild Seafood Pappardelle delivered pure ocean perfection. Sweeping through the menu to finish with the luscious Maple Sugar Pie brought the entire meal to a triumphantly sweet close.

We were going to go to a usual lunch spot of ours, but I've had my eye on Burgoo for a while…read more Here we go.... Walking into a rustic and cozy eatery while a friendly smile from a far welcomes us with every step handing us a menu and seating us in the cutest little booth right by the window overlooking charming Burrard street. I fell in love with the menu right away because it has all my favourite comfort foods. Take a look at the menu....you'll see.... We got the Soup & Salad combo (Mushroom Medley and FAB salad). .........The soup was everything a Mushroom Medley should be. Perfect proportions, spectacular seasoning and spot on temperature. (Yes, I've been served luke-warm soup before. It was not pretty.) The FAB salad. It was well....Fab. Every single ingredient was fresh. Every single one, and topped with red onion. Not adding red onion into a salad is like.....not adding basil to your pasta sauce. They got every detail covered. The Sandwich & Salad (Tasty Chicken Sandwich with FAB salad.) ...........The Chicken Sandwich was the best I've ever had. Just try it. You'll see. The FAB salad....well...we already covered that cutie. The service was warm, friendly, attentive and professional. With this place, aside from their kickass food, what really impressed me was their attention and care to detail. To the point where, when I asked for ice water....the glass was spotless, the water filled not too full and not lacking topped with a Fresh Cut Lemon Wedge. Obviously you have the tasty food, Quality service, and Clean Establishment that render a restaurant as great, but in my book, it's the little things that hoist it up to Excellent. And that is exactly what this place was. Excellent.

The appetizer was the corn salad, fresh diced cucumber made this a hit. The miso soup was loaded with mushrooms which was great, and the broth was delicious. LA Galbi was very well made, tender with some chew, and the charred onions made this dish special, but the Kimchi fried rice was on another level delicious, rice cooked perfectly and mixed with the kimchi made every bite a complete joy. When you see on the menu the entree comes with two bowls of rice that means it's big enough for two. Enjoy, we definitely did. Top 5 Korean cuisine.

Ingredients including tofu and meat inside are fresh and flavourful. Portions overall are quite large. The only downside is there are only three complimentary side dishes before the meal. Dishes like the potato ones taste overly sweet, and feel like they weren't prepared with much care. The service is friendly, and the location is decent. However, the restaurant looks a little dated. I'd suggest some renovations or a deeper clean. Overall it's still a good spot. We visited seven months ago, and this is our second time dining here.

The sauces were so delicious and the noodles were cooked perfectly al dente. Our food came out so quickly our server was genuinely such a good time. She was amazing. We were able to sit at the outdoor patio. I had a reservation so you might have to request it because it is a first come first serve basis. I genuinely wish we could go back to Vancouver to eat at this restaurant again. Also, to top it off The chocolate soufflé is to die for. I recommend the one by Robson Street / Burrard b/c it's has a much more relaxed vibe. We walked into the Pender Street one and it's more business/high end. Robson is casual and great staff! First off - when we gave our name for the reservation, we were greeted with a glass of sparkling wine. What a start! We then had the pleasure of eating outside and having Brent as our server. Another two pluses! For drinks we got the cocount smash and watermelon drink - both good, but I liked the sparkling wine better. For appetizer, we go the scallop ceviche. Hands down - it was fabulous. The pineapple dressing added the perfect caribbean flavor to it. For entrees we got the prawn fajitas and cauliflower taco plate. We loved both dishes and there was nothing left on the plate when we were done. Such a great vibe and wonderful food and staff. If ever in the area - we would go back!
