    Taro Milk Tea
    Vivien K.

I've visited this spot about three times since it's conveniently located in Harbor East. They offer a great selection of bubble teas, and I really enjoy their waffles, waffle dogs, and ube ice cream. Service can be a bit slow at times, as there seem to be a lot of to-go and pickup orders, but it's generally worth the wait. I also appreciate that they offer non-dairy milk options -- something many bubble tea places don't. I've ordered the taro bubble tea each time, though the consistency has varied -- once it was too sweet, another time not sweet enough, and once there was too much ice. Nevertheless, it's still a solid bubble tea spot with plenty of options to choose from.

I ordered the Bambu special. It tasted like sugarcane juice with green jelly, lychee, coconut, and basil seeds. It was the first time I've ever tried a drink like that. Kinda sweet but an interesting mix of flavors. I probs just wasn't used to it. It was good, though, but I think next time I'll order something I know. Service was fine, ambiance was kid friendly.

Super cute cafe! Staff was very friendly they got busy quickly! I got the Awesowm Trio (Che 3 Mau) which is a traditional Vietnamese dessert. My mom makes this a lot and this definitely stands up to par. It was good. I got the passion fruit tea. The tea wasn't too bad definitely flavorful. I would recommend doing half sweet!

Absolutely LOVE this place!! The food is great! We love their ché. I'm not huge on the pandan jelly so I'll sub it for basil seeds. My favorite is #10 Bambu Favorite. We like getting macarons too. Its always so hard picking out what flavors! I highly recommend their pandan waffle! It's SOoOooOo easy to eat! Crispy outside soft and a little chewy inside. Newer on their menu is Bahnmi sandwiches! Hands down Id choose Bambu Baltimore over other dessert places and definitely over any boba.

A fantastic little boba shop. I've come here twice now since their official Grand Opening ceremony and ribbon cutting (they had already been open for a couple weeks prior to the event). It's family run and everyone I've interacted with has been quite friendly. The first time I came, I tried their Bambu Favorite - also my first time trying a Vietnamese dessert drink. It wasn't as sweet as some people have told me which I was glad of. It had lots of different jelly like ingredients which were all good; quite a filling drink as well. It was definitely different but really good. This 2nd time, I ordered their blended Lavender tea with added boba. The drink had a light lavender flavor to it and the boba was soft and chewy - perfect drink on a warm day! The menu is quite extensive with a lot of different drink options and some light snack options as well. I will definitely plan on coming to check out more of their other items!

So many things to love about this place : - The staff is extremely friendly and sweet (they seem like a family, not sure if they actually are) - Cute interior - Most importantly, the boba and drinks are DELICIOUS! I've been places where the boba feels mushy, or even too dry/crumbly - nope. The boba here had the perfect consistency that made me wish I had more I'm nervous that this shop is super close to my apartment - uh oh :)

It was delicious, and absolutely large enough for two. It was loaded up with toppings and even had another layer of the toppings at the bottom. Amazing dessert, would definitely return for another bingsoo and to give their lunch menu a try!

Toppings in the bowl include mochi, mango jelly, and mango cubes. On top is some mochi, mango slices, and a scoop of passion fruit sorbet. There is mango sauce and condensed milk throughout the bowl. The staff spent a lot of effort to make the bowl pretty and did a nice job of mixing the ingredients so that you don't have toppings on top only. The shop seems cute and there seems like there would be more things available when the owner is in. They have lunch boxes that look good. They also have takoyaki on the menu but the machine is currently down. One thing that I didn't like is that the item was different from the menu description. I was expecting mango snow and mango ice cream or sorbet. It's not the end of the world but I picked this one in particular because it was supposed to be mango snow. While the bingsoo is large enough to share, I also feel it is priced a bit high for what it is. Might be because there aren't many other laces like this in the area but bingsoo is usually bigger or less pricey. Overall, a decent stop for dessert if you want something a little different. Street parking was not that hard to find when we went.

The Thai tea was sweet but not so sweet to the point where you would feel like it's running through you Boba was decent. It was soft but not soggy/randomly hard in some places. The drunken noodles with level 1 spicy (lowest spice level) was already pretty spicy for me! So proceed with caution . Granted, I still enjoyed the noodles and LOVED IT ! I got it with beef. The beef wasn't anything special. I would love to try the pineapple fried rice next time as it would remind me of my time in Hawaii many years ago... Stay tuned for that update!

Me and my homegirl were on a budget, so we only stuck to appetizers. I still think it was a little pricy even after splitting, but I would come here again to focus on the entrees rather than the appetizers. The seating is shared between all the restaurants inside the market hall, and we came at a pretty quiet time. Even though it was slow, we did wait quite a bit for our food. We were given the option to have our drinks served first, giving us some down time to mosey around the rest of the market with something sweet to sip on. We were notified that our food was ready, via text. We had the Curry Puff and Moo Ping Nom Sod. The Curry Puff filling was delicious, and the onion vinaigrette was essential to cut through the rich pastry. We spent most of our time in the food court mumbling through stuffed cheeks about how good the pastries were. The Moo Ping Nom Sod was good, surprisingly not as salty as other Thai restaurants. This enabled you to truly enjoy the vegetables it came with, as well as the steaming hot rice that came individually wrapped, ensuring that the rice would be soft even after opening the container.
