I like Taste Tea - not a lot of boba places offer Thai green tea on the menu. It is not the same thing as matcha and I recommend if you've never tried it, especially if you like jasmine teas. I ordered a Green Thai milk tea with rainbow jelly, and a mango forest. Both were very good, though next time I would ask for a slightly higher concentration of tea to milk in the mango forest. The mango syrup with bits of mango were great. Only down side was that the rainbow jelly was not sweet and strangely tasteless. Quality is solid, but I'll admit I like Gong Cha even better, but for the value for the money, this is better. They are pretty quick. Parking could be tricky, but is available along the street or super tiny lot adjacent to the store. There's also a few tables inside if you decide to drink your beverage there. They offer a variety of drinks including milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, lemonade, coffee, and specialty drinks. They also offer tons of topping choices (regular boba, popping boba, jellies, pudding, foam). Starred items on their menu are customer favorites. Note only small and large sizes are available. They no longer offer a medium sized beverage. Decided on the tiger cream milk with boba. I never had tiger milk tea before, so wasn't sure what to expect, but enjoyed my drink. It wasn't super sweet or overwhelming in taste. I can definitely see how this tea got it's name from the look of my drink when I first got it. The boba was cooked well, soft and not super chewy. It's a small space and I can see how parking can be tricky, but I went on a Tuesday afternoon so was able to find a place right in front. I just got the classic black milk tea with bubbles. I also got a Strawberry Smoothie with whipped cream blended in and strawberry popping bubbles and it tastes like eating a fresh strawberry. Since its off season for picking strawberries at the strawberry patch, you can grab this smoothie and sip on them instead. It reminded me of a Filipino dessert from Red Ribbon, the fluffy mango cake. The drink was light and refreshing! I noticed that the only person running the show was the guy that recommended my drink. What an absolutely lovely surprise!! I didn't know there was a bubble tea nearby until I opened up Yelp yesterday and it said it was a brand new place. I came with the hopes that I would never have to travel again all the way to Ellicott City for quality bubble tea. This place is about a 20-25 min walk away from UMBC which makes it a great location for students like myself. They also offer a 10% discount for students if you show your red card AND have free delivery to UMBC! It's also kinda of wild that they're pretty cheap but quality !! They do accept credit card but the minimum is $5 so beware. For the parking situation, it seems you can only do street parking or pay the fee at the public parking area and then walk over. You can't park at the side of the building or behind it because apparently it's for Sorrento customers and tenants only. I had ordered a hot black milk tea and a peach green tea. Both were excellent, and a perfect amount of sweetness. I can't speak for the pearls because I usually never get it or I get pudding/jelly as a topping but their grass jelly is great. Usually I get bubble tea mainly for the boba. Why do I even bother with the tea portion? I should get the whole cup filled with it. I decided to give Taste Tea a go since they had a groupon promotion (always check and they still have it!). I have been there three times since. My favorite so far is the muscat oolong. My first visit, I opted for panda panda, a milk tea with their original and white boba, and they were out of it. It was a blessing in disguise because the muscat oolong was very delicious. A lot of bubble tea shops in my experience tend to make their drinks overly sweet but my drink was perfectly sweet and the tea shined. I am disappointed because my consecutive visits, they were always out of something I wanted. There are other drink options besides milk tea. They also sell sweets even snow ice cream which I don't recommend. I think its a good price point for the size but even the simplest toppings like frosted flake cereal were stale.
