    Grapefruit Flamingo with lychee jelly
    Rachel N.

Orders came out less than 5 minutes. Yes I did have to order two drinks to test out the milk teas and the fruity drinks! 10/10 would recommend. I'm really not a fan of oolong tea in general but the ROASTED OOLONG TEA was different! It was delicious and really cured my craving. The boba was the perfect consistency too. Not stiff at all. The best type of chewy! The grapefruit flamingo really packs a punch with flavor. Definitely a good choice for the summer as it was super refreshing. I found it to be a bit acidic but I mean.. it is grapefruit so what do you expect? Sweet and sour. Come to this place for flavors that you can't get anywhere else!!

Coconut Mango Bliss on the left and Golden Pineapple Splash on the right

We were in the area for dinner and decided to swing by since I was in the mood for boba- it was fine. We ordered the coconut mango bliss and the golden pineapple splash. I asked for the coconut mango bliss to be 70% sweetness because usually the fruit drinks are overly sweet to me, but afterward I wished I hadn't. My drink was not sweet. A couple sips in, I tasted a strong grapefruit flavor. The menu did not list grapefruit as one of the flavors of the drink. If it had, I would have chosen something else. I tasted the pineapple splash (also at 70% sweetness) and it was much better. The place is very small and has no real space to sit and drink. There's a couple benches opposite the counter where you order, but that's about it. It was cold outside so we walked back to the car to drink. Service wasn't hostile, but not welcoming either.

Average boba shop with chewy, stale boba pearls but sweet, rich Thai tea. Cost ~$6 per medium tea with pearls. The shop was small, with just a seating area to wait for your order but not to drink it. Quick service, with one worker who immediately took my order and no other customers in line. In a convenient location to Little Italy/Harbor East.

Pictured: Coconut mango bliss Small shop that sells a variety of drinks from fruit teas to milk teas. Coconut mango bliss is one of their popular drinks and it was a pretty good drink and comparable to a mango sago drink that other boba tea shops have. Service was quick and drink was done in less than 5 minutes. Would recommend if you're looking for a boba shop in Baltimore!

Highest rated Boba place in Baltimore? Yeah- let's give it a try! My 11 year old is obsessed with Boba. so when in Baltimore we look for Boba. Simply Sip Tea- in Little Italy. A cute little area I would have loved to explore. Opens at 11am? Great we were there at 11:15am. Doors locked but there was a window open. Music blasting and a girl inside is doing her thing- getting ready for the day. She saw us and unlocked the doors. She seamed annoyed we were there but we weren't leaving! She did accept a call- sounded like a boss before we ordered. To our dismay the Boba was being cooked and wouldn't be ready for 30 minutes but offered a clear Boba. She was a little more social toward the end of our interaction but didnt make us feel warm and welcome. I love matcha that's pretty clear and their matcha was good. Sweet how I like it! My daughter had coffee milk tea and the clear boba. she loved it! The cups are super cute and reusable. We did treat them well and have them back at home in RI where they even made it through the top rack dishwasher. We love the little heart plugs that close the lid. Cool graffiti under the cashier station. (But it could use a little pizazz inside)

Had a delicious oolong milk tea here today! It was the perfect little pick me up after walking around Baltimore. The shop is small but the service is super quick and the person working at the counter was very helpful with my order/questions.

I was in the Baltimore area visiting my friend and this spot was recommended to me. Other than the common milk tea options, they also have yogurt teas, signature fruit teas and seasonal special drinks. I tried the Sunset Lemon. Before I ordered, I was thinking about adding either sago or aloe vera since I was unsure if the drink came with toppings so I eventually chose aloe vera. Ironically, my drink was picked up by customers before me and they ordered the same drink as me but with sago. The staff were very nice and responded quickly; they remade my drink and even gave me the extra drink! I loved how colorful the drink was and it tasted like a lemonade! The space inside is small yet modern with cute interior decors. The service was amazing and their staff were wonderful!

Love this bubble tea spot. They have unique options and the service is always quick. I really like their Brown Sugar Milk Tea. It's also nice they have sugar free options.

Simply sip is a cute little boba joint in Little Italy. I still remember being so excited when they first opened because they're the first boba joint right in downtown Baltimore. I've gotten different things from this place -- traditional milk teas and fruit teas -- and they're all delicious. They're also on Uber eats which was so convenient during the pandemic. Another thing that sets them apart is their customer service. I ordered online recently for pick-up and when I got to the store, I checked to make sure that my drink had the right sugar level. I got the rose earl grey and was told that the sugar level cannot be modified for it. The crew member told me that they can remake something else if I found it too sweet. I grabbed my drink and tried it outside (for courtesy, I didn't want to remove my mask inside) and sure enough, I did find it to be sweet. I went back inside and they happily made me a standard earl grey milk tea. They even upgraded the size of my drink! I'm very pleased. Will be coming back as always :) Oh also, I hope they never change their packaging. It's so cute and the cup also has a nice matte feel to it. Just something different from other boba shops around.

Supreme Fruit Tea Sunrise Peach Splash
    Brandon T.

This is the first time I was not able to finish my boba. We got two fruit teas and they were extremely sweet. The drinks didn't have much of a tea taste and tasted more like a fruit drink made with water. I had not tried the milk teas which possibly may be better, but I cannot recommend the fruit teas. My supreme fruit tea was ordered with 30% sugar, however it tasted as if it had extra sugar. It was the sweetest boba drink I have ever had. Besides it being too sweet, the flavor was also mid. The sunset peach splash was a surprise to see it was a slush when under the tea menu. By the time it melted, it tasted like it was just syrup and water, and had a lot of separation. The only thing I would say is nice about this place are the boba pearls being delicious and the cups being a nice plastic. The employee was very nice and was working very hard, however it severely understaffed which made service slow Its a cute shop but very small and tiny. It has a nice aesthetic but not a boba spot to socialize with friends.

    Roasted Oolong Milk Tea

I've known about Simply Sip Tea for a while but haven't checked it out until now. It's a small indoor place to just order and go with a couple waiting chairs. I ordered the roasted oolong milk tea with half the sugar, less ice and boba. It came in a sturdy plastic cup and thick lid so pretty high quality there and the drink itself was everything I could hope for. What a great place for all your bubble tea needs!

    brown sugar boba milk
    Jacqueline N.

I've had simply sip from catered events before and they were always p decent but this time I ordered a drink from doordash and it was super disappointing): the brown sugar boba milk came warm (not sure if that's the shop's fault) but the drink also had a funky aroma and taste to it. it was slightly tart but not enough to where I thought it had gone bad (not sure tho). the boba was also not very chewy and although I don't really like boba there was no option to remove it. I'm not sure how different the drink would be compared to if I had gotten it myself in the store but this was v unappetizing...

Coconut Mango Bliss with Agar Agar
    Leslie C.

Local spot for fruit based tea/smoothies located in Little Italy. The shop is togo only, a few seats for those waiting for drinks but no tables. You can order inside, at their window kiosk or online. I love their coconut mango bliss, supreme fruit tea and grapefruit flamingo flavors. Drinks are sweet but ice and sugar levels can be adjusted to taste. Their signature drinks are one size but cups are quite large. I recommend the rainbow jelly or agar agar for toppings. Their boba pearls are not warm and chewy or sweetened with brown sugar or honey (like Tiger Sugar). If you aren't into fruity flavors, their milk tea is only ok, not rich in tea flavor and no better than chains like Kung Fu Tea. Drink prices have also risen with inflation, expect to pay ~$7 for a drink with toppings. Good stop for a local YiFang tea style shop in Baltimore.

Toppings in the bowl include mochi, mango jelly, and mango cubes. On top is some mochi, mango slices, and a scoop of passion fruit sorbet. There is mango sauce and condensed milk throughout the bowl. The staff spent a lot of effort to make the bowl pretty and did a nice job of mixing the ingredients so that you don't have toppings on top only. The shop seems cute and there seems like there would be more things available when the owner is in. They have lunch boxes that look good. They also have takoyaki on the menu but the machine is currently down. One thing that I didn't like is that the item was different from the menu description. I was expecting mango snow and mango ice cream or sorbet. It's not the end of the world but I picked this one in particular because it was supposed to be mango snow. While the bingsoo is large enough to share, I also feel it is priced a bit high for what it is. Might be because there aren't many other laces like this in the area but bingsoo is usually bigger or less pricey. Overall, a decent stop for dessert if you want something a little different. Street parking was not that hard to find when we went.

I still think it was a little pricy even after splitting, but I would come here again to focus on the entrees rather than the appetizers. The seating is shared between all the restaurants inside the market hall, and we came at a pretty quiet time. Even though it was slow, we did wait quite a bit for our food. We were given the option to have our drinks served first, giving us some down time to mosey around the rest of the market with something sweet to sip on. We were notified that our food was ready, via text. We had the Curry Puff and Moo Ping Nom Sod. The Curry Puff filling was delicious, and the onion vinaigrette was essential to cut through the rich pastry. We spent most of our time in the food court mumbling through stuffed cheeks about how good the pastries were. The Moo Ping Nom Sod was good, surprisingly not as salty as other Thai restaurants. This enabled you to truly enjoy the vegetables it came with, as well as the steaming hot rice that came individually wrapped, ensuring that the rice would be soft even after opening the container.
