Some want orgasms, others NEED O Some are generous, some have GREED O Some addicts like alcohol, others do WEED O But me I'm addicted to the drinks at TEA DO Some people like Korean soup, some MISO Some people look good in a SPEEDO Not many look as good as ME DOE But all people should try the drinks at TEA DO My thing may be thicker than a jumbo BURRITO And Donald Trump may be the colour of a CHEETO But these drinks taste better than any DORITO So come and try the teas from this place called TEA DO Some like to write, but most don't READ DOE Some just got stabbed by Barbi's nails (didn't BLEED DOE) Some find out the hard way they're related to a PAEDO But at least one can drown one's sorrows in the drinks at TEA DO WHAT My notes said: Really lovely Tea Do with wonderful service and great products, nice tapioca, didn't kick anyone out even at 1 min to midnight, lovely. Perfect brown sugar milk tea. Yummm. However, I've had very mix experiences at this place, and a few times I've been kicked out early and treated kind of badly for being a late night customer, then other times things went well, so it really depends upon the day and who is working. Overall I think it's a great bubble tea shop, with good products and really nice decor, and it feels brand new compared to some of the other TD locations such as Philly and Boston. I like that you can hang out here late at night, of course. Baltimore doesn't have a lot of top notch boba options, but it has some solid chains, and out here there's a Tea Top (closes early) and a Tea Do (closes late) within a few miles of each other, as well as other good options, which makes Ellicott City west of Baltimore a top Boba destination, and basically the Chinatown area of the Baltimore region. Tea Do is one of the top boba shops in Boston, in Philly (several locations), in DC (VA burbs and MD burbs), and here, in the west burbs of Baltimore too. In some ways it dominates the late night North East USA boba scene, and does so in a good way, with cheap products that are delicious and well worth your time. Tea Do helps me when traveling because long after other boba shops are closed, I can hang out here until sometimes past midnight, enjoying late night boba in safe surroundings and outlets for my devices. The milk teas here are fantastic and the fruit teas are actually really good too. I mean a place has to be really good for me to order as many drinks as I did. Including the strawberry black tea which is a Halloween special. I really have nothing but great things to say about Tea Do. As an added bonus they are open late, so I'm often in here late nights in the Baltimore burbs when there's nothing else to do. And nothing else to Tea Do. And I'm glad they don't overcharge like a lot of places do. Because that would be a "Teadon't" rather than a "Teado." The best things in life are not free Which is why Barbie charges a fee But the prices are worth it Drinks so good, you'll slurp it Here at Tea Do Ellicott City And if you think it's pronounced Tea "Doo" instead, then here's a rap for you. You'll never understand all the Boba shops like WE DO You can see all the Boba, but can the Boba SEE YOU You can be a Merekat, an Ocelot, or even a Boba EMU But for Boba near Baltimore, you come to TEA DO If the Boba gets touchy feely will you hashtag ME TOO If the Boba makes you sick will you and Boba BE THROUGH If you're drinking Boba in jail, will Boba FREE YOU And if you're in Maryland, will you come and drink at TEA DO? Anyway, now I have to hit the restroom for a PEE/POO If you hate this rap, just ask me for a RE-DO BYE.

Visited Tea-Do for the first time yesterday and had a great experience! They have some great food options along with a large drink menu. The staff is very friendly and got our order out quickly. We tried some of the Onigiri (baked salmon, shrimp tempura, eel, and kani w/ seaweed), and they were great! The onigiri themselves were larger than we expected and came work spicy mayo to dip them in. We were pretty full with 2-3 per person. We also tried the Taiwanese Fried Chicken. They had both spicy and mild and we went with the spicy version. The chicken bites definitely had a kick to them! But they were crunchy, warm and had a nice taste. As for the drinks, I had the Thai Milk Tea that comes with the classic bubbles. I've had a lot of Thai Milk Tea, but Tea-Do is now my favorite! It doesn't taste diluted and has a good flavor. My fiancé had the Hello Kitty speciality drink and loved that! It was refreshing and the Star bubbles/gummies in the bottom were fun. Overall, we loved this place, and we will now probably be regulars! Definitely recommend it!

I don't like writing this review but here goes. I've ordered food and bubble tea for delivery in the past no issue. Fairly quick delivery and food has tasted good in the past. This time I ordered taiwanese popcorn chicken and a bubble tea through ubereats. I got the order on time but my main problem is when I got the chicken it was open. The container was open. Attaching a photo. I called Teado and they said they always leave the Togo container open for taiwanese popcorn chicken so it doesn't grt soggy. I'm sorry but in the middle of a pandemic that is a horrible business decision especially if my food is going to sit in a delivery vehicle with another person for 10-20 minutes. I don't know if the person is wearing a mask or not inside their car. Too many unknown variables makes this a terrible idea. If the expectation is I will microwave the chicken anyways to kill germs well guess what it's not going to stay crispy anyways. So yeah. Reevaluate this decision for the future I would say. It's not safe in my opinion. I'm glad I got the bubble tea as looks like that's gonna be my lunch today instead of chicken as well. Just letting others know in case it matters to them.

Yes! Tea tastes great and also service is SO quick during quarantine. I got my order within 1-2 minutes of ordering. During the pandemic, they are only allowing two customers to be in the store at all times but that did not slow them down at all. They have hand sanitizer on deck and seem to have created a saran wrap barrier between the staff and customers. On to the tea, my boyfriend got the Hulk and I got the Almond Jasmine Milk Tea. The Hulk was refreshing! I enjoyed my drink but the pearls themselves aren't as tasty as other chains (still very chewy though). The almond flavor also overpowered the jasmine by a lot but it still had good flavor. Will be back again if I am in the area!

Currently opened during this quarantine and only has carry-out option. Tea-Do surprisingly tastes way better compared to the Kung-fu tea option in College Park (this was the only other boba place opened near me in Montgomery County). I ordered the sesame milk tea with boba at 30% sugar and ice. Great boba texture and well-balanced in terms of sweetness and tea. I also had the eel and salmon onigiri which tasted delicious. The seaweed onigiri was recommended but my favorite is usually the salmon so I stuck to what I knew. I'm very satisfied with how consistent this location is to the one in Rockville. I've never actually dined inside this Tea-Do location but by the looks of it, it appears pretty standard to other store locations. This would definitely be my go-to spot for any future boba cravings during quarantine.

Teado in EC is a cute little spot to hang out with friends. The atmosphere gives this cozy feeling and they offer board games as well. Not to mention, customer service is friendly and efficient! Cleanliess of this establishment is up to standard. Don't forget to get a stamp for your stamp card for every purchase you make! Collect all 10 stamps and you get a free drink! I also love how they close a little later for those who has late night boba cravings like myself! :) P.S. if you get the tropical twist tea, then I recommend getting the sweetness level at 70% instead of 50%. That's if you don't like your boba too sweet. The 50% sugar tasted kind of watered down that's why.

I came to Tea-Do to try a bubble tea, outside of one of my favorite bubble tea establishments. You know what they say, "If it ain't broke don't fix it....." First, when I came into the establishment I heard a person greet me, I had to follow her voice behind a fort of plexi glass ( I get it the pandemic ain't over-over.) After I located the person behind the voice, I proceeded to order my food and drink in a kinda confusing ordering area. Secondly the establishment is too dark in the inside. When a business is located in a small strip mall facing west it sometimes hits and misses with sunlight. As a suggestion they should make up for the lack of light in the inside decor. Thirdly, I get it, the pandemic is not over-over but does this business still need a barrier of chairs with a huge teddy bear guard to send the hint - "Get your purchase and go vibes?!?!" My strawberry milk tea was underwhelming. It also felt like the two young adults working that day lacked any interest or passion in their jobs (no shade). The lack of passion was passed on energetically to my purchase. The shrimp shumai was ok. The takoyaki was a little less than ok, and the baked salmon onigiri - disappointing. All in all I was grateful to try a new place but next time I'll stick to what I know will be foodie vlog worthy and a overall good to great experience.

Ordered Taiwanese fried chicken --not as crispy or tasty as some other place right nearby. They charged a $.05 bag fee--thought that was only for grocery stores but whatever.. Bubble tea--have to ask for the boba pearls even though they have a big ass boba tea figurine inside the store you'd think that would be the standard? Haven't tried the other food options...very limited seating area.

    Almond milk tea with pudding

They are only doing carry out at this time. They have a plastic curtain with a small window cut out to hand you the drinks and for you to pay, I got an almond milk tea with pudding and it was really sweet, refreshing and flavorful. They have lots of drinks options of all different floors like milk teas, hot teas, yogurt teas, fruit teas, smoothies and coffee drinks. I will be back for more tea soon.

Nice environment. I like the tea and the food there. They have promotion for upgrade on Friday from 1pm to close. I stop by Tea-Do every time I am around that area. I love the tea named "The Hulk" and popping tea.

I've been wanting to come here and now I'm kicking myself for not coming here sooner. This place is located in a small strip off Route 40 and St. John's. Order: Strawberry Milktea - This was delicious and the tapioca was cooked perfectly. It wasn't too hard and not too soft. Parking is free in the parking lot. Oolong Tea - This drink had 7% sweetener added. It also had tapioca that was perfect and the tea was yummy. The service was great. The staff was friendly and patient while we tried to decide what we wanted. I prefer this over other bubble tea places I've been to in the area. We will be coming back regularly!

People do seem to respect the 90MIN seating window though so you should be able to find a seat. You order and pay at the counter first and then they give you a table number card. This is how they find you to serve your food. I ordered a regular matcha latte, a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on croissant bread and their famous croffle. I loved their matcha latte. It's pre-sweetened so no need to add extra vanilla syrup or anything. This does not taste like a traditional matcha, which in my opinion tastes like dirt. This is a sweeter, dessert like matcha. I didn't care for the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. It was kind of dry and it tasted like something was missing. The croffle was amazing. It has a nutty, pecan like taste to it and it was topped with vanilla gelato and blueberries. I couldn't really taste the maple syrup but it was delicious nonetheless.

I really enjoyed the cappuccino, and I like that they offer agave as a sweetener. That said, I do wish the cappuccino had a bolder coffee flavor. On its own, it leaned a bit too milky for my taste. However, once I added an extra shot, it made a big difference, I got the richer coffee flavor I was looking for along with an extra boost. The temperature was good, but I did notice that even when I requested it extra hot, it came out the same each time, which was a bit puzzling. Overall, I'd give it 4 stars. It's a nice spot, and I would definitely come back if I'm in the area.

I arrived a little bit after they opened, so the place was empty. The cafe was still empty and the cashier was patient and friendly. I asked for a refund and the guy told me I had to call corporate (this has happened to me before but I thought they might've updated their website and processes). I call corporate just for them to tell me they'll send a email to the manager of that store to request one and they will get it with 15 min (doesn't really help if the manager isn't there which is why I couldn't get a refund right away in the first place). A day goes by and I haven't heard anything so I call this morning, 8/14 and ask to speak with the manager. Once again he is not there. I ask if there was any supervisor or duty and the lady tells me no. At this point I'm annoyed so I ask if there is only one person in the store designated to give refunds and she replies yes. I ask for someone's contact information and then she literally passed the phone to someone else and they both begin giggling. The girl who answered had to gather her composure and I could hear them both just continuing to laugh. She tells me the girl had to deal with something and had to go. How unprofessional is that? The new lady on the phone is now telling me that I have to call the Bethesda store to speak with the manager, who is Iglicio, if I want to get in contact with him. I call and he's not there just to get a lady to simply say, "Hello." I was taken aback and had to check if I had the right number. When I asked if this was Tropical Smoothie, with an attitude she goes, "Uh, yeah." Who are you all hiring?! This is highly unacceptable to me. Corporate can't tell me when I'm gonna receive a refund because they don't have contact with the stores. They can only send request. What is the point of corporate, then? And I should not have to track someone down just to receive a refund when the site wasn't update. I would've never ordered and gone through this AGAIN. I am highly disappointed in Tropical Smoothie and livid you employ people who think it's okay to pass phones and then laugh while customers are asking for refunds and to speak to a manager. Please know that you have loss a customer and I will be advising everyone I know to never order from any of your establishment again. This experience has been frustrating, the customer service has been horrible, and it makes no sense you all don't have a central way to give customers refunds. Highly disappointed.
