We wanted to do a kitchen, refresh and by quartzite. We went to Baltic because they have done my friends kitchen and I thought it looked beautiful. We did shop around and we appreciated Vasiles honesty and care for our needs. They did everything timely and the quality is excellent. I love our new countertops. Also got a great price compared to others. So happy!

New Quartz Counter and Sink.

Vasili and his team, Danny and Felipe, did an amazing job. Our whole family uses their service. They quick, efficient, clean. Highly recommend them!

We had Baltic do our countertops last week during our kitchen remodel. They were recommended by my parents who had them do some extensive work including very elaborate beveled edges during their own kitchen remodel. That came out looking beautiful, so we decided to go with them as well. Their pricing is fair (we got quartzite, a natural material, for below competing quartz prices), and service is very good. Vasile, the owner, has a ton of knowledge and gives great advice. I will post some pics of my kitchen when it is completely done.

Our new kitchen and the master bath

We bought a beautiful home in Auburn but the kitchen and the bathrooms were outdated with honey oak cabinets and tile counters. We hired Vasile and his team to install new white Shaker cabinets and white marble countertops and we love the result! Vasile and his team are the best. Quality work and customer satisfaction are truly their guiding principles. They went above and beyond to make us happy and we remain very grateful to them.

Baltic granite did a phenomenal job installing our quartzite counter tops I could not be more pleased. They work quickly and efficiently.

The entire process was smooth and professional, and the quality of the work was excellent. I would definitely recommend Good Life Construction to anyone looking for reliable, reasonably priced, and professional service!

And the full internal framing replacement of 3 windows, insulation and drywall. Project crew was great, and professional. Being here was several weeks, I worked from hime to let them have access to the backyard and inside the house for their needed repairs. They all worked without issue and concern, and provided necessary updates when available. Communication with the city for permits was at issue at first, and an initial inspection was missed. As myself and the team weren't aware it was taking place at that specific time. 2nd inspection, the inspector was several hrs late and made the contractors wait all day, and no work could get done that day. Inspections after were good. Only issues I noted were a number of nails left out in my yard, all in the same area vicinity. Where my dog also goes out to walk, so that was a little concern. But there was nothing else that occured, and clean up for was good before and after. Total work - $18k+

Solid Construction remodeled my two bathrooms last year. The team did a beautiful job from start to…read morefinish, kept everything organized, and made the entire process easy and comfortable. I also felt very confident knowing that the plumbing, water connections, and work behind the walls were completed properly and professionally. I would definitely recommend their work. My biggest advice when choosing a Sentrel shower wall is to wait for a sample before making your final decision, especially if the color isn't available to see in the showroom. In our case, the Master shower floor and walls were supposed to be the same color, but once installed, the walls looked noticeably different and had more of a gray/green undertone. We absolutely love the workmanship and truly appreciate all the hard work that went into completing our bathroom. The only thing we're struggling with is the wall color. If replacing the walls is even an option, we would love the opportunity to discuss it, although we honestly feel hesitant asking because we know how much work went into the installation. We certainly don't want to take away from the beautiful job that was done--we just wish the final color had turned out closer to what we expected.-Pauline V.

Giving them a chance to fix it. They have since fixed the paint but I would say painting is somewhere they could improve on. Ok updating 9/5/25 we are finished with our about 8 mnth remodel from design to finish and moved in It was a big job. We are very happy we chose Solid they have been very good from start to finish. In construction there's always a hiccup or two the important thing is that you have a contract who stands behind there work and Solid does just that!Everything looks amazing and we're loving it. We would definitely recommend Solid to anyone. In fact we have already and our daughter and son in law have already used them to remodel their kitchen and it turned out beautiful!! So if you're looking for a full service contractor give Solid a call. Like my husband says if you don't get it right in the beginning it won't be right in the end. They were our middle bid and the right choice!

It would be very difficult to give an accurate estimate that way because there's a lot of dry rot underneath the steps which needed to be inspected in-person. R&B Framing was the only company which showed up to take a look at the steps. Two days later, Jose Cedillo emailed me an estimate and thoroughly answered my questions. His company uses Redwood or cedar wood for Victorian homes, though cedar does cost extra. We were surprised by how fast his crew finished the job. They showed up on April 9th, early in the morning and worked until the evening. They arrived the next day to finish the rest of the steps and the banisters. He also painted the banisters according to the original white creme color. If it's a legacy house, they'll stick to the originality of the Victorian architecture. (Per building code regulations, when a house is considered a legacy house the paint must be the original--or close to the original color--of when the house was first built.)

We have a sunken above ground pool that had a deteriorated redwood deck. R&B remove the old deck…read moreand disposed of the wood. Using the existing substructure that was still viable, they built this beautiful redwood deck and used a stain that we selected. All boards were stained on all sides prior to construction and protective tape was applied to the substructure so that there was no wood to wood contact. All joints were tight and gaps were consistent. Workers were polite and pleasant and on time and cleaned up after themselves . Great job!!! Highly recommended!

We used Olive Homes as our prime contractor for a full renovation of nearly our entire house in…read moreFolsom--kitchen, living room, master bedroom, master bath, laundry room, new floors, rewiring, and replumbing. It was a massive project that stripped things down almost to the studs. Overall, it was a 5-star experience and we're really happy with the final result. One of the things they did exceptionally well was the upfront planning. They scanned the house and worked off our Pinterest boards to build a digital 3D model first. Being able to iterate on that digital model before any demolition started meant my wife and I could nail down the aesthetics and know exactly what to expect. Once construction was underway, jobsite cleanliness was great, and living through the disruption was about as tolerable as a major renovation can be. Olive Homes handled all the Folsom city permitting and inspections without too much friction on our end. Whenever unforeseen issues popped up--as they always do with major renos--they came to us proactively with solid ideas and solutions. On top of that, they actually finished on budget (slightly under budget, in fact), which is pretty rare for a project of this scale. The main downside was the timeline. The project took longer than both we and Olive Homes expected. Their primary team and main subcontractors were top-notch, but some of those main subs hired secondary subcontractors below them. That extra layer caused communication breakdowns--there were days when secondary subs didn't show up when expected, and some of their work was lower quality and had to be redone. The prime contractor was very empathetic and considerate throughout, stepping in to ensure re-works were handled properly, but those secondary sub issues definitely caused delays. At the end of the day, the finished product turned out beautifully. The craftsmanship is high quality, and we've gotten a ton of compliments from family and neighbors. We've made our final payments and expect to do our 1-year warranty checkup punch list soon, but we are genuinely very happy with our home and would recommend Olive Homes to anyone looking for a solid, honest local contractor.

Getting estimates is the most annoying part when starting a project. Contractors either ghost you…read moreor give you a very unreasonable estimate. Olive homes is different. Ellie, the estimator, is an amazing person. She's been so professional and willing to work with our budget unlike other contractors who just ghosted me after learning what my budget was. Even though we won't be able to move forward with the project at this time due to shifting priorities to another project, we will only consider olive homes when we are ready. Thank you Ellie!
