I have been doing business at ball donuts for about a year off and on. Donuts are good as well as the service. 2 weeks ago I went in to buy coffee and donuts with my registered service animal and was approached by a young man who was very rude and loud telling me to get my dog out of his donut shop. I made an attempt to explain to him that this is not just a dog, but my registered service animal for medical reasons and he was not open to hearing what I had to say and he walked into the back. I explained to Sophie that this is my registered service animal and I am the registered handler. She listioned but was not receptive. My civil rights were clearly violated here and nobody cared. I was so embarrassed I just walked out. I vow to never return to ball donuts until they read, understand,and respect the rights of disabled individuals under the AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT.My medical condition requires my service animal to accompany me at all times 24/7. I would like to see a change where one must understand the rights of A.D.A. before issued a business license. read more

Sophy was very sweet and nice when I came in. I missed out on the ham and cheese croissant because I came the last hour. Friends brought sweets from here and nothing but praises. She gave me her business card when I am going to make a large order and to text her the day before. I didn't buy anything but she offer me a slice of cake for free. Really good experience here when I brought my young nephews in to pick out half a dozen donuts. The clerk was super patient with the boys who were excited and wanted to look at everything. And she threw in an extra donut just cause :) Most of all, the donuts were fresh and very tasty. Nothing worse than wasting calories on a sub par donut. None of that here, you'll get the good stuff. Half dozen was about $6. I didn't notice any other pastries -- I was looking forward to an apple fritter but I don't think they had any on the shelf while I was there. Overall, great local spot! You know when you are hooked on these new creative donuts and you just happen to find a name you thought was one of those hip locations, but when you pay a visit, its NOT. Yup, they got me. With only 20 Reviews, my suspicions were correct. It was just a local donut shop that is on Ball Road. If you just want a good cheap donut, come by Ball Donuts in Anaheim. Honestly, I know I would be pushing it to go to a specialty donut place during my lunch break. So, I saw the name on Yelp and said, "Let's Go!" Located on the north side of Ball Road behind the car wash in a small shopping strip, you will find, Ball Donuts. Parking is tight when you have so many cars parking in angles and delivery trucks blocking the path. Ball Donuts opens everyday at 4am. Whoa...I wonder who is awake at 4am. It would make sense at 5am, At 4 am, that where they serve their best and HOTTEST donuts. Unfortunately for me, I came in at noon and they didn't have much of a selection left. And they close at 8pm? Not much left for choices by the end of the day. I was greeted by an elderly Asian lady. Apparently, other Yelpers have met her too. She was very warm in her welcome. She automatically wanted me to try the Blueberry Donut. Blueberry Donut?! I've never heard of that before. I saw it, but it was hard to tell it was a Blueberry Donut. So, I got a Blueberry, a glazed, and a lemon-filled sugar donut ($2.95). I don't have a price on a dozen donuts, but she quoted me for three dozen donuts for $8.50. Not bad for those large workplaces who devour their donuts. When I brought to my donuts back, I had to dissect it. The first one on my list is the lemon-filled powdered donut. Before I even tried to open, it looks like Ball Donuts slices their donuts versus injecting the donuts. I wasn't sure if its classified as a donut or a sandwich. Yeah, it may have been made out of cake batter, but it was cut like a sandwich... A lot of the filling was on one side of the donut. It wasn't really spread out evenly. I didn't feel heavy eating it and that was a DONUT! However, I did fall asleep for a bit. Must be the side effects of a delicious donut. The highlight of the visit wasn't the lemon-filled powdered donut. It was the Blueberry Donut. OK, it wasn't decorated any special, but it was made out of BLUEBERRY! You've tried a Red Velvet Donut! Then try a Blueberry Donut. Its fruity and with the light glaze, I still didn't feel guilty for having it. Overall, Ball Donuts is a family shop. Its a small family donut shop. I love how I was greeted, love the price, and the donuts were just as good without the fancy donut names. I am all for small business and if you want to feed the morning crowd at work and donuts is the only thing you are after, come to Ball Donuts. They'll be ready for you and your large orders. Excellent donuts, great price, and my bagel w/crème cheese had just the right amount of cheese. So many places give you WAY to much which makes it messy. This was the first time I've visited this donut shop. Great selection, friendly service, and pretty speedy. Most donut shops seem to have only 1 person working, and this one had 2! I was working early On Thanksgiving. Live out of the area and just started working in Downtown Disney. Getting off the freeway at Ball I checked Yelp (of course) and Ball donuts showed up. Thought I'd stop by. Very happy I did! The young girl working here is very friendly. She works very fast. I ordered three dozen. She could also multi task to get other customers waited on while my card was reading. Myself, working in the line of work that has a line constantly I can really appreciate the quickness she showed. The donuts are soft and fresh. I REALLY love the French Crullers. They are my favorite and have tried them in many other donut shops. I will say this place knows how to make them! The donuts here are pretty good, like any donut should be. They're not over the top or particularly special, but they make donuts the way they should be made. The donuts here are light, fluffy, and very tasty. I believe there's a $5 or $10 minimum for credit card purchases, so bring cash because these donuts are like $0.75 each. I stopped by on a Friday morning around 9am which happens to be their busiest day of the week, so not much donuts were left. I did manage to grab a couple chocolate donuts and they were so soft and delicious without being too sweet! The lady that helped me was very sweet and even threw in a couple "deep fried croissant bites" to try! Apparently they open at 4AM daily and close by noon, which comes to show how delicious their donuts are!
