We ended up getting a piece of hula pie to share with the table instead. It was delicious as always, plenty to share among three people, and I love that it's served on its own special plate with special sporks that say hula pie on them. It was pretty sunny and hot that day and there are no umbrellas on the patio, so good thing I was wearing sunscreen or I'd fry. Service was prompt although as it got busier it got a little slower. Delicious for hula pie but if your heart is set on a drink in a pineapple, you cannot get it here.

The fish was cooked to perfection so much so that it melted in my mouth. It was amazing. Not only was she incredibly sweet and attentive, it seemed like she had a true sixth sense for everyone's needs in her section. We saw her interact well with each of the parties near us and we were attended to with equal enthusiasm and kindness. We were also able to order online and the process was seamless. We have ordered the most expensive lobster roll, which I believe has 1/2 pounds of lobster. sato seafood had some of the best seafood that we had in oahu and was so light and fresh! it's a…read moresmall shop next to marugame udon and had no line on a tuesday evening. they were super quick and we were in and out within 10 mins! we ordered 2 hand rolls, a yuzu ahi roll and ikura salmon roll. the yuzu ahi roll was delicious -- it had a bit of a crunch with the toppings, a small kick to it, and the yuzu gave a nice tanginess to pair with the ahi. the salmon roll came with fish eggs, which was such a perfect combo you can never go wrong with, especially with how fresh everything was. we also got a hawaiian munchies bowl. the ahi tuna was super fresh and rice was seasoned very well with the mayo sauce. the spice was mild and not too much for us (we are spice noobs). overall, this was one of our favorite meals during our stay oahu and we would definitely come back for more!

I ended up ordering the guava ribs and my wife got them too. Those had to be the best ribs I think I have ever had! They literally fall off the bone as you're trying to pick up the meat. One of the reasons we wanted to go here was we wanted the options of seafood but one of our adults doesn't like seafood and they said that they had all kinds of stuff, which they do. Our server Maka, was incredible. He brings us out a free appetizer and said that was from the chef. I don't know if it was the chef or him but I was impressed and it was good. It was some kind of little fried dumpling. It was awesome! One of the people in our party had thought he was not going to order something and I gave him one of my ribs and after he tasted it, suddenly he wanted some too. I grabbed Maka and asked him If he could get those ribs fast because the rest of us were already halfway through our meals. He got right on it and had that order in. The ribs came out just in time and everybody was happy. It ended up being one of the nicest meals that we had the whole week. We were here and it was a great way to end our vacation here in Hawaii.

All this to say, Tiki's is a must if you're walking down Waikiki! There's also FREE 3-hour parking downstairs when you visit. Tom told us of the daily happy hour from 2-5 and late night, and occasionally live music! Original visit (2021): We left the beach in search of a cool place to grab a bite and enjoy some beers! Tiki was the perfect spot! Our wait was short and our food came out quick! Our bartenders Marteen (sp?) and Kama not only provided excellent service, but were a pleasure to talk to! We had the Ahi Poke, the French Dip Sandwich and the Kalua Pig BBQ Sandwich. The BBQ sandwich came out on a taro bun and smothered in guava BBQ! It was our favorite! Forgot to snap a pic before devouring our food, but if you find yourself in the area it's a must stop!
