Terrible service... I went with my wife yesterday to celebrate her birthday we thought it was a 5 star High-End Luxury restaurant they didn't had our table ready and the manager told me and my wife that she can't enter the place because her "Michael Costello" designer super-expensive dress was not appropriate for the place, I told the manager that we go to fancy restaurants all the time in the island like La Mer, Hokus, Turtle Bay and Azure and they always treat us like royalty so I would put 0 starts if I could I will never go back to this dumpster full of tourists, all dressed in shorts and kids running and screaming all over the place... We like the Hilton, is very nice but just for going to eat lunch not for dinning or fancy dates avoid this place is terrible!!! read more

My husband and I were very excited to eat at this restaurant for my birthday. There were several awards posted outside the entrance up to 2019. So, these were pre-Covid times. Unfortunately,our experience was much less than award-winning. We started with the Burrata. It was just average and needed salt and pepper. I had the fresh fish which was severely overcooked and under seasoned. My husband had the 9 ounce fillet which was cooked to his liking but also not seasoned and not presented well. I put on our open table reservation that it was my birthday. No happy birthday or anything special. Due to our underwhelming experience we decided to skip dessert. If you plan on going to this restaurant, I would check it off your list. Highly disappointing way over priced. read more

Excellent service and great food! I went to Hawaii for the first time with my best friend and we decided to visit this restaurant. We ordered multiple dishes and had alcohol. Waiter was very nice and the food was very fresh. As we watched the sunset, we got to experience fireworks right in front of us at night time. That was the best Thanksgiving meal I've ever had. The beautiful vegetables, the perfect turkey/stuffing/cranberries, even the salad leaves appeared to have been picked that very hour! And the pumpkin dessert was just right. Very impressive meal! I only wish it could've been served on a pre-warmed plate and the food at a hotter temperature. Bali Oceanfront was our dinner choice last night. First, the restaurant is a nice atmosphere at the Hilton Hawaiian Resort. Service was spot on with a very friendly waiter whose goal was to ensure we had a great time. I was set on the Cioppino but the waiter highly recommended the Ahi tuna and changed my mind. Boy was I glad he did. The tuna was perfectly seared yet still rare/raw, the way you want it. Hubby had the surf & turf daily special, which was a small filet and tiger shrimp. He loved it equally. this was the Fine Dining option of our trip and Bali did not disappoint. great location on the west end of HHV, next to the Super Pool and Lagoon. service from start to finish was very accomodating. we started with a very well made martini and old fashion. kids shared the bolognese and the burger. mama and i started with the caesar and the garden salads. very fresh. i ordered the cioppino and mama had the petite filet. food was fantastic and the accompanying views were amazing. overall, a great experience. read more

Many tourist trap restaurants are expensive and mediocre in quality. Think Disney/Las Vegas. But Bali Oceanfront rocked (dinner)!!! I ordered plenty to use up my CC resort credit so not to lose it. There's nothing to complain at all, quality was excellent, tastes was up there, service was very accommodating but not intrusive, and the time/execution delivered. One advice: make reservation, it was surprisingly long to wait to get in w/o reservation. 5 appetizers, 3 mains, 1 salad was tried, everything hit the mark. Yes, price is high but not compared to typical tourist traps. For the quality and given how high food costs is in Hawaii, your final tab is only 20% over norm, which is reasonable for a dedicated tourist centric restaurant. read more

Excellent birthday dinner. They have a few select wines that are sold as 1 ounce, 3 ounce, and 6 ounce glasses. It is the perfect amount to pair with each dish. I like my wine but I want to enjoy my food even more. I paired the lobster bisque with a 2015 Pahlmeyer chardonnay. I opted to pair of the duck breast with a 2014 Duckhorn Merlot. I haven't been here in years come when I brought my mother for a nice dinner. It's nice to know that the good things haven't changed: Beautiful setting, and top-notch service. There where are some taste for upgrades to the indoor setting, such as the artwork. The food, from the bread to the entrées (cioppino, fresh catch mahi, even the appetizers) were delicious. Ruined family breakfast. I had made a reservation for my family the day before for 9:30 am. My 5-year-old daughter has a broken arm, so it's crucial for us to ensure a smooth and safe experience for her by making reservations. We arrived at 9:33 am, and the restaurant staff informed us that our reservation spot had been given to another customer because we were considered late. We were asked to wait an additional 10 minutes, which turned into a 30-40 minute wait with hungry kids. When I requested to speak with a supervisor and questioned them about the lack of a reservation system, they explained that losing your spot for even a minute late was their policy. The supervisors, including the hotel "manager," were very rude and seemed more interested in protecting themselves than addressing our concerns. They were not receptive to my complaints and simply reiterated that they were right and we had to wait, without offering any apologies for the inconvenience. Frustrated, we decided to leave and went to another restaurant. I have never encountered such incompetent management staff. read more

We arrived in Honolulu in the evening, so we did not have much time to find a place to eat. Luckily there was Bali Steak and Seafood nearby. After a bit of a struggle to find it in the giant complex, we finally sat down to an amazing dinner. My parents and I shared the Ribeye Tomahawk for 2. It was HUGE! It was 38oz of delicious ribeye that easily fed the three of us. We had three sides (not pictured) and salads and left full. The steak was rare and juicy--just how I like it. They nailed it! My mom and I split an Heirloom Tomato Salad, which I wholly regretted afterwards. The salad was one of the best salads I have had. It was topped with burrata cheese--Yum!--and had olives, basil, balsamic pearls, and truffle oil. It was heavenly. The presentation, too, was outstanding. Next time, I get my own.. and maybe two! Everything we had at this restaurant was delicious. It was a wonderful start to our trip. It also has a wonderful view though we did not have reservations and were there at night. Make sure to make reservations here to get views of the beach. Accessibility: This restaurant is mostly accessible. It has all tables and chairs, so booths are no issue. Spacing between tables is generally okay. There are high chair seating in places. ALL CHAIRS HAVE ARMS, so it is not accessible for those who require armless chairs. The chairs are generally wider, but will not accommodate all bodies. The noise level when we were there was minimal, but we were in a quiet area. The lighting was good. I literally tried to order the carbonara and the waiter was like, get the steak. I was transparent. The reviews weren't great. He said they had improved. I did not want the steak. He pushed it so hard so I caved. I got the steak. EVEN THOUGH I DID NOT WANT IT. The steak was mediocre at best. This place doesn't deserve to serve food.
