Went at the end of February to look for a wallet for my boyfriend. Couldn't find the right color but the two sales associates that helped me were super friendly and helpful. They do have Hawaii pricing here, but it's not a consistent percentage and it's only on leather goods. Also, when we went, they an additional Hawaii promotion that was going on. Balenciaga opened its door to Ala Moana Mall about two weekends ago. I dropped on by to see what the store had to offer and to see what the latest fashion trend was in good ole Ala Moana. Definitely very high end purses, shoes, fashion and wallets. You definitely won't be seeing any of your typical teenagers running around school with a Balenciaga purse. I've liked Balenciaga for a long time (10 years), but it was one of those things, where "I was too shy to make a move," or the "Timing just wasn't right!" Well, one day it just happened.... My husband and I were shopping around and as we passed Balenciaga I did a quick look into the store move. At that point my husband asks me if I wanted to go in. I responded with a, "Oh, no no, i just wanted to see if they had the bag I saw online." I usually don't like to go into a quiet store. Sometimes when I pass by there are a lot of people or there could be none, and today there were people, so I figured I can browse without feeling bad if I didn't purchase anything. So I agreed to take a look. Immediately we were greeted by the friendly guard at the door and followed by a warm welcome from the SAs. I mentioned that I was looking for a particular bag I had seen a lady wearing and found it online. After much describing and showing her the item on the website, she found that it was sold out in Hawaii. Apparently, it's a very popular bag. I was a little bummed, but not heartbroken. She immediately asks what I liked about it and other follow up questions. With my answers she suggested a few other canvas crossbody bags for me. There was another lady who was actively helping her with me. It did seem that my SA was a little fresh to the Balenciaga salesfloor, but nonetheless she was friendly and she tried her best. While patiently working with me, they offered us bottles of waters and I never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. I finally decided on a Navy Cabas XS with gray trim. There was a small mark on the inside of the handle and it was the only one. She checked to see if they could get another one, to no avail. So they cleaned it up. I'm that customer - the one who wants a "New" one, not the display. Can you really blame me though!?! You're spending the money, get what you really want! They were apologetic and I know she tried her best. She even offered an alternate color to give options. I gave it a moment and went for it. I really didn't want any other color and its cleaned up. I used it on my trip and I LOVED it. When we came home from our trip, I received a Thank You letter from my SA who also wished that we had a good vacation! I wish I could tell you her name.... it began with an "X", and she was a young Asian lady... This was my first Balenciaga bag and I'm so happy. Giving 5 stars, because I received the BEST customer service from everyone at the store. STORY TIME - Dayle was THE BEST! I spotted a handbag I thought was cute, but they all brought me to the hourglass purse and I instantly fell in love. Dayle kindly walked over and explained all the details of the handbag and we conversed about way more than just the handbag. All the wonderful ladies were so kind and sharing tips on caring for the current purse I had on. Sweetest souls. I debated on the purse for a little while and before leaving, Dayle shared her contact info with me. I walked right back in not too long after to buy the purse. We didn't want the one on display, so Dayle went to go digging for a brand new one. With more conversation, we completed the purchase and I left extremely grateful. After leaving, I noticed a few flaws on the purse, Dayle asked me to come back and Tanya (repair queen) took a look and confirmed it was older dried glue, which is not removable, so I had to swap out the purse. Smooth swap, so no complaints! Long story, because I felt that everyone deserved the credit of assisting with me. I'll definitely be back again to say hello. read more

Being one of my favorite designer brands, I decided to check out their store while in Hawaii. As we came in, we were greeted with smiles by Julie asking if we were looking for anything in particular. She gave me that freedom to look around without hanging right behind my shoulder after telling her I just wanted to browse through the store first. She was readily available when I had questions and was very accommodating to get some items for me that were not on display. Side note: Don't get me wrong, I'm straight and happily married but Julie is sooooooo pretty that I caught myself staring at her a few times. LOL! Meanwhile, I love how the store showcases all their colorful purses. It's bright inside and their interior color is neutral to really make all their items pop especially with their spring collection of colorful hues. I just wish they had their wallets out on display, too. I was in the market for one and I had to ask her to show me what they had. They were all in a drawer that was hidden, not a glass showcase or anything of that sort. Thankfully she was there to assist all the way. I didn't leave the store empty-handed and was very excited with my purchase. A week later back at home, I got a "thank you" card in the mail from Julie hoping that I am happy with my new wallet and enjoying it. That's quality customer service right there! Over the course of the next hour, she provided extremely professional customer service, never pushing us into making a purchase, nor ignoring us. This is my honest and real opinion about this balenciaga store. I'm a big fan of balenciaga don't get me wrong. But ... On January 1, 2014 balenciaga was participating in the lucky bag "fukubukuo" Ala moana New Years event. So after all my new year eves parties And fun I wanted to go to ala moana for that event which started at 7am. Which was super early...anyways I went to balenciaga 1st! Rather than Gucci, Neiman Marcus, and other designers. I've never been to this balenciaga before, but when I went in and there were a lot of customers, none of the salesman spoke to me, I was deciding on which lucky bag I wanted and finally I did, and I paid $689 on sale, (retail $1,260). Then I went outside to open it, with so much excitement and smiles on my face, I then open the bag.....and lifted up a UGLY, OLD, and not even looking like a balenciaga bag. I was confused, I thought it was suppose to be like a balenciaga mini city, or city, or something that looks like a balenciaga motorcycle bag. BUT IT DID NOT LOOK LIKE BALENCIAGA! There were no proof of authenticity card or price tag inside the clutch. I then did research on the clutch and apparently this clutch is at least 10 years old. And the logo on the clutch was under a lawsuit, I went back to the store and I ask the manager for a refund, she said all sales final, and I told her this doesn't look like a balenciaga bag. She said it was a real one just a little old. LITTLE OLD?????? THE CLUTCH IS 10 YEARS OLD!! TERRIBLE! This was my first and LAST TIME ever going to a balenciaga store. Before Balenciaga opened up, they had it available at Neiman Marcus. I don't know if I'm biased, but I like purchasing leather goods at their actual store instead of department stores (it's just my preference). Last year I bought my first Balenciaga bag and was helped by a girl named Sarah. At that time of my purchase, I had asked for a box because I like to keep my bags stored in their box when not in use. She handed the shopping bag to me and it was just the dust bag tied up. She then told me that they don't do boxes but with Balenciaga being a premier designer, I would think they would have boxes available for handbags just like any other designer. But hey, I'm not complaining lol I got over it. This review is mainly about the service I received from Kellee. I love Balenciaga bags so much that I decided to get another one. Kellee is just a doll! She kindly greeted us and was just so sweet the entire time! She brought out different colors for me to look at it but I was unsure with which one I really liked so I wanted to give it some thought before purchasing. She gave me her business card and wrote down the different styles I was interested in, along with it's price. I went back this past Sunday and I was glad to see Kellee working again as I wanted to purchase the bag from her. I used the bag a few times since the day I got it but after 4 days I notice that the stitching on the inside of the bag was loose and had completely fallen apart that it had the Balenciaga metal plate hanging by one side. I called the store and Kellee answered the line and advised me to come in asap so she can replace the entire bag for me since it's only been 4 days. When I went back, she had one already on hold for me since it just arrived that morning! I was so happy because i thought I had to get it shipped out for it to get fixed. I showed her what happened to my bag and she told me to examine the new one that i'll be getting as replacement. I told her it looked good but she insisted that I look it over, just in case.
