    Garlic Parmesan

So so so so good! Just went got Fried Pickles, Garlic Parmesan, and The Mother Plucker. Every single dish was a 10/10. I can not wait to try all the different potatoes. It was busy and ours came out quick, the service was amazing! Cute porch seating and the option to wait in your vehicle.

Second time trying this place! Wednesday specials! I had the Texas pork last time and it was really good. I just wanted basic this time and I couldn't finish it all!

I love to support dining locations and if you are looking for a some home grown comfort goodness that won't dent the wallet look no further! I choose to do a traditional potato with brisket added... and woo weee it hit the spot. The potato (skin included) was seasoned and baked to perfection. The brisket super tender and perfect smoky bark, combine this with crunch real bacon, butter , cheese and a little green onion it's Damn good! Check them out on Wednesday for a 4.99 special!!

I always review local businesses that I want to stay open forever. This is one of them. Location is obscure but definitely worth the effort. Price is great and large portion. What makes this place stand out is the ingredients. The ingredients are so fresh, unlike anything else you get at a normal restaurant. Owner is so friendly too. So happy to finally found a great place for potato in BCS!!

We live in Copperfield and were glad to see that Baked or Fried opened recently in the Texaco station right outside. We stopped yesterday for lunch and were very pleased. The pulled pork potato was LARGE and delicious. The toppings, pork, cheese, fried pickles, BBQ sauce, and more were plentiful and everything looked and tasted great. The service was friendly, and the cashier even brought the food out to the car to make it easier (I use a cane) for me. I encourage you to try them, we'll be back soon to try some other menu items.

We were BLOWN AWAY by the number of college students, dressed in their Sunday's best, openly praying over their food before enjoying some awesome chicken. It was SO NICE TO SEE! We ordered a family meal (20 pieces), 2 sides of fries and a chicken sandwich meal. We paid around $40. Great value! The food came out quick and arrived hot and fresh. I had a slight "issue" where I thought my chicken wasn't fully cooked and the manager reassured me that it was just breading but happily remade my sandwich to give me peace of mind. I REALLY appreciated that. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals, literally leaving "not a fry left behind." The size of my chicken on the sandwich was HUGE- had to be hanging off the roll by 2" on each side! Staff were phenomenal. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Love the laid back decor. Plenty of seating inside and some tables outdoors as well. Definitely recommend!

The Cookshack has a different vibe and feels more like a lunch or dinner spot, while Mess is the perfect breakfast place. Alright, who am I reviewing again? Right. The Cookshack has some great options, and my wife and I went for the Chicken & Waffles. I chose the hottest seasoning they had--pretty sure it was ghost pepper--and yeah, it was spicy but didn't make me miserable. There was a lot of food, and it definitely filled us up. My wife got mac n cheese with hers and really enjoyed every bite. The cashier was nice and attentive. The atmosphere is great for a lunch or dinner date. Plus, they have large booths, which we really appreciate.

I've only been here for drinks in mid-March so I can't comment on the food…read more Located in the Stella hotel, this is a spot that has the look of an elegant upscale spot. With that look comes upscale prices. You'd think the prices would match the experience but as with most hotel restaurants, they do not. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of food and drink options here and some deliver such as the Pine & Petal cocktail which is as pretty as it is tasty with the hibiscus, pineapple, mint and lime mixed with buffalo trace. And I enjoyed the Walt Blue Jay Pinot Noir which was a generous pour delivered. As for service, it's the definition of inconsistent. When I sat down, they greeted me within a couple minutes and poured my wine immediately and let me sip it in peace. So far so good. But when I finished, they approached and asked me if I'd like another drink which I replied about the Pine & Petal cocktail. They put it in and then the bartenders go to some other guests and chit chat about some contest they are setting up with the soda gun and building some paper boat to float down it with the person building the best paper boat getting a prize. I'm sitting there thinking are they gonna make my drink or do I have to remind them again? So they organize this contest with about 4-5 participants and then crown the winner. As they're celebrating, the bartender comes back and asks me what'd I'd like to order. I'm definitely a bit peeved since this was roughly 15 minutes after I had asked them to make the Pine & Petal cocktail. So mentioned that I ordered that cocktail a while ago. The bartenders realized their error and made the drink and decided not to charge me for it. While I appreciate the no charge, having the attentiveness to make the drink instead of focusing on the paper boat contest would've been more sufficient. Especially given the reviews commenting about customer service. Should I stay at the Stella again, I may venture here to try the other cocktails. But I'll probably just order one and be done with it.
