Came here for the first time with my ohana. We ordered the Onion Rings, Fried Pickles, Spinach Dip, Garlic Knots, Sunshine Burger, Bubba's Smashed Burger, Lasagna, and a side of Mango Margarita. Everything was crispy, juicy, and flavorful. The lasagna was very cheesy and delicious. I do wish the garlic knots were more garlicky and salty as it was a bit bland. We also got a tray of crispy tortilla chips. The spinach dip was perfect for that dip. Prices are very reasonable for the large portions that we go. Staff were very friendly and fast. Lots of tables to dine at and lots of TVs for sports. Lots of parking and near the Cinemark theaters. read more

This is a great atmosphere if you want to catch the game and have a meal! Kaidynce was tending the bar and she did a fantastic job. The pineapple smash...a great drink but too much ice. The restrooms were clean and the workers all seemed very efficient That being said, it was very cold in the restaurant. And overall, I was not impressed with the food. We're excited to have something new in B/CS, that's not another fast food joint. I had been to another Bubba's in the past at a different location that was enjoyable, so I thought we'd give it a go here. One word of caution. This place can be very busy. We did have our names on the wait list, but the wait was long; very long! There were people all around waiting for their tables. It was difficult to even find a place to stand. After an hour, I found an open seat at the bar. I waited about 10 minutes, but was never acknowledged. Finally my wife said that our table was ready, so I left the bar without ever being served. The atmosphere, is fun and upbeat with a lot to keep you and your guests entertained. Bubba's has a huge variety of above average pub grub and more. Our server was new and seemed a bit overwhelmed, but did a very good job of attending to our needs. No complaints there. The bottom line is that the food and ambiance is good. It's a great place to me up with friends. But plan your visit and wait list if you can. The place is still new, so my expectation is that things will improve. read more

We had the queso as our free appetizer which was good but different as it was on a shallow skillet. Came in on a Friday night, ordered a plain Burger, fries and no pickle due to me being allergic to them. My order came out exactly how I didn't order it - gave them a chance to fix it - they gave it back to me - same burger, fries with the meal on the same paper as the first meal with pickle juice all over it. I got the Stromboli on the 2nd visit, it was my birthday, I was super excited as it was good it was not a Stromboli but it was still yum! I wish Bubbas would've come into town so much sooner. IT'S AMAZING!! One of my new favorite restaurants. I feel like College Station needed a solid American food restaurant! The guacamole burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had. There's some extra bacon on it and the patty was a good size. The brioche bun and pair with cheesy queso bacon fries and their HOMEMADE RANCH. Better or just as good as Wing Stop ranch. It was phenomenal. I also got the strawberry lemonade, and the fresh strawberries are perfect touch you have to get it. I think I drank three glasses. The service was a little slow, but I think it's okay as they just opened when we visited and I was starving so it felt even slower haha. I ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer--I've been here a couple of times and they tend to be pretty salty, so if you like your beer dressed with salt, I'd recommend skipping the pickles. Tried for the 1st time on a Wednesday. I knew since they had not been open about a month that it could still be a little slow...but this was the slowest food has taken somewhere in my entire life. It's also very loud, that might not bother some. Our waiter was good, but coming by to remind us "the food was coming" & 3 other managers multiple times (it was overkill became an annoyance).
