The best fish and chips that I've ever had. Nice environment inside and out when the weather permits

My husband and I frequent the Tilted Pint because it's local, the beers cold, the atmosphere is fun and we just loved everything about it. Great salads! They used to have, two + years ago, really good cheese curds. I felt ad though I was in Wisconsin! These past couple years the quality has gone down. Our last visit we ordered them and they were BAD. My husband ordered the catfish and I had their chicken wings. And I hate to say this, but it was the worst meal we've had there. It ruined our usual great experience. The Tilted Pint is a cute little pub, but I would say that my experience here was just alright. Honestly, the best part of this place was the other customers -- everyone was really nice and fun to chat with. Ambiance: The inside is very small, and there was hardly any available seating, but we managed to grab the last two open seats. The staff wasn't great -- it was surprisingly hard to flag someone down even though the place is so small. Service felt a bit slow and inattentive. Flatbread Pizza: The cheese on the pizza wasn't very good, and the crust had an off putting burnt taste to it. Overall, there was just something not right about the pizza -- it didn't feel fresh or well-made. Definitely wouldn't recommend it. Sunset Martini: The drink was just okay. It was pretty sweet, with a very strong coconut flavor that reminded me of Ocean Water from Sonic. It pretty much tasted like OJ and coconut, and nothing really stood out about it. read more

Great service and food. I especially like the Rueben sandwich. They pour a decent Guinness pint as well. A little cold for my taste but that standard in TX. Also though I have not tried any yet a much better bourbon selection then you would expect from a place with pint in the name. read more

Best fish and chips i've had in a while!!! love me some good fish and chips- you can pay $2 to substitute for a salad and so that's what we did- the hush puppies were on point! They make their own salad dressings and sauces- they use olive oil which is awesome! not the bad canola or vegetable oil. The waitress was super friendly! You have to be 16 or older inside but you can sit on their patio which is nice and large for good weather days!! they have happy hour every day from 2:30-6 with $1 off their draft beers. read more

I had the Rueben sandwich and it was delicious and very big and filling! Enough for two people but I had it for 2 meals. My sister-in-law had the hamburger and the hamburger and cheese was very well done and cooked just right! I was called at my house on Tuesday December 23 regarding going to this bar. I was told people complained about me which I was never told by anyone when I was there. however one of the men who's a manager said that "it's a bar so the use of the F... word is allowed". Food was delicious. Hubby had Horseshoe- open faced sandwich. Had a really good cheese sauce over it and French fries. Problem was he ordered beef and got chicken. He let waitress know but said he would keep it but also said it would have been better with the beef. She did apply a discount to the check. I had the fish and chips. Also good. They even bring the malted vinegar for it. However you get charged for an extra tartar sauce. Lastly, and I know it's a bar, but they do not have unsweetened tea. All in all - I would go back. So...just a few days after we moved to Bryan and more than a few times of driving past the Tilted Pint, we couldn't resist. It looked like the perfect cozy neighborhood hangout, and we took the usually pretty full parking lot as a good sign. We were right! Great place and we haven't stopped stopping by since! Phoenomal food. Weekly specials and the best Rueben I've ever had. We have met the greatest people there - on both sides of the bar. The staff are always super friendly and attentive and usually greet you as soon as you walk in the door. Inside it is 21 and older (which is nice) but families are welcome, weather permitting - and it's Texas, most of the time it does - on the open air patio. There are multiple tvs, inside and out so you can catch whatever big game is going on. Or, so you can see the questions and answers on Trivia night (first and third Wednesdays). Never played? Probably my favorite bar in BCS area. I always get great service, unless the staff is new, ha-ha. Audrey is an awesome manager and runs the bar professionally with a great attitude. Ambiance is inviting and clean, always!! The food is top notch for pub food that is, and I'm very picky when it comes to food. The burgers & fries are good so are the pretzels, fish & chips are great. It's a small pub environment and usually not too busy, unless there is an A&M game, then the place gets packed quickly!! They serve draft beers in Imperial pints (20 oz.) and have great happy hour prices. This bar has some of the best prices for their drinks in town, which is one of the reasons I frequent this establishment, leaves more $ for larger tips;) Highly recommend!! read more

Very pleasant gastropub. The patio was a bit crowded, but wonderful to sit outside and enjoy good weather. The drink list was long enough for me to find a couple of things I wanted to try. Made reservations over the phone and was asked how many kids we had. I told them one who was 10. Was told this was ok and provided my name and number. An 1.5 hour later we show up and get greeted by a rude guy saying he had bad news. Quote saying, "we were told you only had 1 kid". As we were turned away, I realized this wasn't a kid friendly place. My bad for not doing a better job researching the place. Should have ended there but I get a call from the guy that turned us away confirming my reservation. A bit confused I told him we were the ones he turned away. He then goes onto say we had more than one kid under 16. This was our 1st time at Tilted Pint. We have lots of friends that rave about it so it was time. They have a amazing patio! And the waiters are awesome and friendly. My husband had a beer and it was happy hour so $1 off drafts. I had the Raz drink and it was yummy. We then ordered our food. I had the daily special which was a Philly Cheesesteak with fries and my husband had the Fish & Chips. It was all SO delicious! IF I had to offer 1 thing it is that they could put more cheese on the sandwich. But, it was really good. The fries were perfectly crispy! My first time here and I've literally sat for 10 mins at the bar with no beer. There are two customers here, and I'm one. Four people working and they have walked by me at least ten times (I'm at the bar). Then the waiter had the audacity to complain about his tip from an old couple who left and he never walked over. What a gem of a find in Bryan! We live in Austin and came to visit my mom and wanted to try someplace different. The beer suggestion was fantastic! The food was wonderful! Try the jumbo pretzel - not your run of the mill pretzel, believe me - the best pretzel I've ever had. The fish and chips, the charcuterie board, and the pasta were all very good as well. We had such a lovely afternoon on their patio and all the staff, including a gentleman whom I presumed was the owner, were as nice as can be. Highly recommend checking this place this out! read more

It was a beautiful evening and the Tilted Pint was busy but we were able to sit at one of their picnic tables in the parking lot and order our first round of drinks while we waited for a spot on the patio to open up.
