Stopped by a dinner nearby. Place was packed w a decent line. Vietnamese Che desserts and drinks. The interior is small w about 6 tables, but has several tables outside also. Gets crowded inside with people ordering and waiting to pick orders. We ordered a couple of House Specials, one without Durian. The Durian was very strong as Durian can be. The Special was good. Had Red Bean, Jackfruit, Pandan, Coconut, Longan, milk and Ice ( durian also) the ice was thick chunks and prevalent. Almost too much ice. But once mixed together it was a very good treat. Similar to Che Ive had in Siagon. One Premium Soy Pudding which was not my things. Rather plain tasting. The Coconut Smash drink was VERY tasty with fresh young coconut inside. The flavor w the tender coconut chunks was the highlight. We also tried the Longan Jelly and Pandan Coconut Jelly. Both were good and not overly sweet. I've been coming here every now and then when I'm in the area. I usually visit when they send out a coupon or when I'm visiting Da Vien. Parking: The parking lot here is so frustrating bc it's always busy. Finding a spot can be difficult. Careful while turning as there's old pedestrians constantly walking without caution. If you like asian style soy milk, the premium soy pudding drink is awesome. I loved it. Half of the cup is the soy pudding and the fill the rest with soy milk. It is not a "pudding" consistency. It's more like a jello that you can suck through the straw. Their top dessert item is their flan cheesecake. I got one to try. It was not what I expected. But it's good. The flan is definitely there. Their self-service kiosk is very introvert friendly, although on the most recent visit for me, it was not working. Nonetheless, the people working here are friendly and good for me that I am not an introvert. They have really quick service and their desserts are always tasty. Last year I discovered I like chè bơ, so that is my go-to order from here now. I also (as a rule of thumb) always try a place's house special, so I have also tried their chè đặc biệt. My sister has been wanting to come here for quite some time now and I recently saw a TikTok about their new flandan cheesecake. We were having dinner across the street and decided to walk over to grab some dessert. Yumi was extremely nice and helpful. She asked if I ever had their signature flan cheesecake and I said no and she highly recommended I'd try it since I was ordering the Flandan cheesecake. The toilet area looked neglected, the floor was sticky and covered in used paper, and the whole room smelled bad. It's pretty obvious the staff hasn't checked or cleaned it in a long time. For a place that serves food, this kind of hygiene is unacceptable. If the restroom looks like this, it makes you wonder how clean things are behind the counter. I didn't even want to stay after seeing that. It completely ruined the visit. This was very impressive to both of us. It shows that the staff truly read customer reviews, take feedback seriously, and make improvements to ensure customers have comfortable tables and chairs when they visit. All the staff here remain very friendly, and I hope they continue to keep up their positive spirit. On the downside, during their promotion, the size of the cup was reduced. This should not happen. I ordered the House Special and Coconut Smash. Less sweet for both. I would've loved to mix the two together. That might've been the perfect combo. On its own, the House Special started out great. But towards the end there was too many red beans leftover. It overpowered the rest of the dessert. I also ordered without Durian and peanuts. The Coconut Smash is more rich because of the coconut. Even with less sweet, it was still pretty sweet. We did get a side bag of ice but didn't add it. Next time I would probably add some ice.
