Cute little cafe. A bit expensive for breakfast items specially if you get the eggs plate. Husband got the eggs your eay (over medium) which came with potatoes and toast. It was quite small and he added a side of 2 eggs ($8.5 or 2 eggs) making his dish total more than $23! For eggs and toast! I got the eggplantsandwich ($18) whoch was super tasty and would eat that again. It came with yummy fries.

This is a very popular weekend spot. While there was no line, it was definitely crowded. It is a relatively small restaurant, having both indoor and outdoor seating. The walls are decorated with sports items. It was nice having a TV nearby so I would watch a sporting event while dining. Service was first rate and attentive. Iced teas and sodas are served in a large, retro style Coca-Cola tumbler. I would recommend they provide longer straws, however. The standard ones they have are a bit too short. I was craving Chicken & Waffles, so I did not bother looking at the menu. My order came out relatively quick and looked great! Do note that the "honey" in the order comes in those quick/to-go packets. It is your basic fare as opposed to something special or artisan. The waffle itself was crispy on the outside, a bit cakey on the inside. The 2 pieces of fried chicken were moist on the inside. I could not, however, discern any brining to enhance its flavor. Overall, it was a solid dish for just $19. I would say this is a good place to visit. I would probably lean towards ordering an omelette/skillet dish in the future, though.

Standard diner with all day breakfast available. Came by while waiting for my car maintenance for a quick bite. Service was nice and fast, food came out hot and delicious. Everything was decent. Less food than expected and we finished our meal with no leftovers.

Located along Middlefield near 101, parking spots are few but available. There's a good amount of seating indoors. I also liked that they had a ventilated outdoor seating area too. Bajis Signature Omelette (5/5): so yummy. Each bite was well rationed with the ingredients being used. The bell peppers were crunchy and really added an extra layer to the texture. The flavor was just right. It wasn't overwhelmingly salty nor under salted. The hash browns were amazingly crispy. Service was great. The staff did an excellent job making sure we didn't need anything. Overall, Bajis Cafe is an awesome breakfast/brunch place. Food is phenomenal with top tier customer service.

Went bike riding and passed this place and a couple of days ago, so I decided to try it. The place is really nice with sports memorabilia, even though I only saw one warriors pic of Joe Smith. My daughter and myself had the meat lovers skillet which comes with a side of toast or pancake/waffle. My daughter got the pancake and I got the waffle. The skillet was delicious, but the waffle and pancake was very rubbery and disappointing. Overall great restaurant and the staff was very friendly.

A nice, friendly, solid American Style diner. I had the biscuits and gravy and some hash browns. The biscuits were cooked well, soft on the inside with a nice firm top/bottom. The gravy was just a simple white gravy with some sausage bits. I found it to be a little under seasoned (which I fixed with some salt and pepper at the table) and it was okay. Not the most amazing biscuits and gravy I've ever had but a some 3 star and I would eat again if in the area. The hash browns were mid and just okay. Nothing special but nothing horrifying either. The staff working there were super friendly and quick and were overall great!

    Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice

Best orange juice 10/10 would definitely recommend. The chicken was perfectly crispy and cooked amazingly. The waffles were perfectly fluffy and crunchy. Eggs were also great. Highly recommend Bajis Cafe.

Wasn't sure what to expect from this little diner. Went to breakfast and had a great time. The food was tasty and the service was great. The people working there tagged team the tables and made sure everyone had what they needed. They checked on us as they walked by to make sure we were good. The scene is a little dated, but it's expected for a diner. Not a bad place to grab some breakfast and chill with friends.

    Huevos rancheros

Stopped here on our way to Gilroy from SFO airport after arriving on a morning flight. While I am not a breakfast person and usually order pancakes everywhere I go, I had an California omelette with hash browns and pancakes. Daughter had chilaquiles. Would come back if in the area.

We miss Baji! The prices are outrageous($18.50 for a fair looking and tasting omelette and $14.50 for the hash seen here). No senior breakfast for my folks Soooooo disappointed in the food, prices and service! The restaurant upgrades are nice, but that's about it. If you think you will be eating at the Baji's of the old days here at this location or at Bergman's, you will be very disappointed. Maybe change the name?? I think Baji would be embarrassed.

    Are there buckwheat pancakes gluten-free?

Hi, the buckwheat pankanks include wheat flour in the ingredients, which unfortunately is not gluten free.

Do they serve in a gluten-free pancakes or gluten-free waffles or gluten-free French toast?

    Is there still indoors dining?

    Absolutely.

Does this place has vegan options? If not vegan does it have egg less vegetarian options?

Hi, we do have some vegetarian options for lunch under our cafe sandwiches. Also, we can do any skillets with no eggs on our menu. Thank you!

Does Manny still work there as a waiter?

No, his brother, Omar is here

Do they serve Maple syrup with pancakes or charge extra for syrup ? Menu suggests that there is charge for the syrup?

Maple syrup is included and available on all tables. We do offer "Pure" Maple Syrup for an extra charge.

Do you use real maple syrup?

Hi Renee, we have the Pure Maple Syrup add-on for $1.50.

    How's the coffee there?

    The coffee is really good!

They made Mother's Day so fantastic, mom, 92, loved it, do they ever have a buffet?

No I’m sorry we didn’t have a buffet at all, it’s too small and too crowded to have one.

Mid week brunch meant a quieter atmosphere and open seating. After perusing the menu we ordered at the counter before sitting at a table after picking up utensils and water. We ordered Fambrini's Breakfast, Brie & Mushroom Omelette, Crab Omelette, and shares the Lotus Biscoff Pancakes. Everyone loved their egg platters. The eggs were perfectly light and fluffy. I generally avoid omelettes getting scrambles instead because restaurants tend to overcook the eggs. Our dishes were prepared with quality and flavor in mind. I personally had the crab omelette and left no crumbs behind. The potatoes were well seasoned and wish I had enough room in my tummy to finish them off! The drip coffee was bold and delicious not watered down at all! Finally, we shared the 2 stack biscoff pancakes for a sweet finish. The pancakes were bouncy with biscoff sauce and a mound of whipped cream. This was mouth wateringly delicious. I don't have much of a sweet tooth but this was so yummy. This isn't a traditional sit down service but counter staff were friendly and efficient. There is a small parking lot off to the side and there is indoor and patio seating. The dalgona coffee looks amazing but is only okay, I'd maybe try something else. It is definitely Cafe style, where you order and pay at the counter first. There will be plenty of foot traffic going in and out of the restaurant. My dining companion and I settled in at the counter since the weather was a bit brisk today. Joanie's has been around long enough to wear its old-school vibe with confidence. The service is just fine. Nothing to complain about and nothing to tell write home about. It's a small enough place you are able to flag someone down if you needed something. We both ordered the "Joanie's Breakfast Medley" which includes French toast or two pancakes, two eggs any style, home fries, and your choice of protein (bacon, sausage, corned beef hash, chicken-apple sausage, or ham) for $25.95. We added two coffees, because we are functioning adults who require caffeine to make decisions. The food was fine, it was what a Sunday breakfast should be. I had a bit of a sticker shock when I asked for the bill and saw that it was OVER $75 for two people at breakfast, with tax and tip. I sat there doing the math in my head the way you do when you're hoping the numbers will somehow rearrange themselves into something more palatable. They did not. Now, to be fair, I am fully aware that the cost of ingredients and labor has gone up across the board. I was just operating on an optimistic budget of maybe $60 which I now realize is one of those "back in my day" comments to bore the Gen Zs to tears. If you want a recommendation for something sweet, go straight for the Cherries, Berries and Mascarpone French Toast. The eggs benedict is a reliable choice too, if you're feeling classic. The restaurant is easy to get to as it is located at the corner of California and Ash Street, and there's a large parking structure right next door. Would I go back? Probably, yes. But I will be prepared so that the wallet shock doesn't catch me off guard again.

While I never…read moremet the man, he has incredible taste, because Sweet Maple has the best breakfast food I've ever had in the bay area. Well worth the trip. The two of us were dubious about the Millionaire's Bacon, because it was hyped up to the point where it seemed unlikely that it could live up to the reputation. We were wrong. We ordered the Millionaire's Bacon sampler platter, which is four strips of long, thick pieces of bacon, baked with brown sugar and spices. There is the original, which is brown sugar, cayenne, red, and black pepper, which was sweet, salty, and the perfect amount of spicy. The other slices were orange, cinnamon, and rosemary. My partner enjoyed the orange best, whereas I loved the cinnamon, but we both thought the rosemary was underwhelming. The bacon itself was very thick and meaty with a minimal amount of fat, and was just clearly high quality pork. Truly worth the hype. We also got the bottomless mimosas, which not only had multiple choices of juice (we got raspberry lemonade) but were surprisingly heavy on the champagne. The waiter kept them coming without us needing to ask, to the point where I had to tell him I was done because I was a little too tipsy for breakfast. My partner got the chicken croffle, and was very impressed. I tried the fried chicken (though not the croffle) and it was very well spiced, very crunchy, and well cooked--juicy and tender. I got the big hip, which is deep fried "french toast". I wouldn't call it french toast myself, but it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and came with fresh fruit, butter, and syrup. There wasn't enough syrup for the entire dish, but I asked our waiter for more and he came back with it in less than a minute. On top of the food being as close to perfect as you can get, the service was great. Several different waiters checked in on us throughout the meal, making sure we were enjoying the food and that we didn't need anything else. The vibes of the restaurant are really enjoyable too. The décor is lovely, the sound levels are very reasonable, and everything was spotless during our visit. Overall, I can't recommend Sweet Maple enough, and I'm kind of glad it's not closer to my house because I would go bankrupt with the amount of Millionaire's Bacon I'd buy on a weekly basis.

Drinks (3/5): The drinks tasted good, but we ordered them extra hot and they arrived cold, which was disappointing. You are also responsible to pick them up so stay close to the barrista id you need coffee. Ambiance (4/5): The atmosphere is lively and energetic, which gives the place a fun brunch vibe. That said, it can feel overcrowded. The seating is very tight, tables are pushed close together, and the line can get quite long. Service (2/5): This was unfortunately the biggest issue. One of our items was missed in the original order. When I went back to fix it, staff initially entered it as a separate order and told me there wasn't much they could do and that I'd need to pick it up as a to-go order. After multiple conversations, I asked them to simply combine it with our original order and bring it to our table, which they eventually agreed to. When our food arrived, the missing item was still missing. After checking with staff three separate times, we were eventually told they were "doing us a favor" by giving us someone else's to-go item. By that point, we had already finished most of our breakfast and were ready to leave. The staff seemed more focused on explaining how busy they were rather than taking ownership of the mistake, even though the issue started with the original order being missed. Overall, this is a solid 4-star if you go on a quieter day and you don't need much customer service because the food is absolutely worth trying. On a busy day, though, be prepared for a potential 2-star experience, mainly due to customer service.

Parking is limited right in front of the café but there's another parking lot in the area so I wouldn't worry about parking here either. The cloud 9 name and theme is so clever since it is right by an aviation club. The music inside is light and unobtrusive. Outside there's a peaceful, quiet patio with shade, sun, and flowers. Absolutely magical.

I came at opening, and it was just myself and one other person there getting a drink. Both of our drinks had about an inch of a gap. If I'm paying almost $10 for a drink with tip I expect a full 12oz or 16oz latte. Per previous complaints, it states they are supposed to fill it all the way. The taste was great, but it annoys me when places do this.

Very cute place with an inviting layout and feels super clean. We decided to share two dishes - Thai salad with chicken - flavorful and lots of salad. Slightly light on chicken. - salmon salad sandwich. Very tasty - fries divine. Six stars for service as they split the salad and sandwich for us so it's easy to share. So thoughtful. Upon hearing it's our first time gave us a free warm chocolate croissant as well. I don't live nearby but I think my friend who works nearby will be back with her colleagues.

There menu isn't huge but they have specialty options that rotate frequently so you can't get sick of it! The indoor seating is nice, but on a sunny day you have to enjoy the outdoor set up. There's great shading from the verandas and umbrellas. The portions are huge for everything but the salads are especially massive. You MUST try the tater tots. They are the best I've ever had. Perfectly crispy and golden, without being excessively greasy. If you get the sandwiches or burgers, you can sub out the fries for free. The fries are good too, but trust me, you will not regret getting the tots.
