We decided to share two dishes - Thai salad with chicken - flavorful and lots of salad. Slightly light on chicken. - salmon salad sandwich. Very tasty - fries divine. Six stars for service as they split the salad and sandwich for us so it's easy to share. So thoughtful. Upon hearing it's our first time gave us a free warm chocolate croissant as well. Great casual lunch spot! My company likes to rock this place a lot and they are always consistently good! There menu isn't huge but they have specialty options that rotate frequently so you can't get sick of it! The indoor seating is nice, but on a sunny day you have to enjoy the outdoor set up. There's great shading from the verandas and umbrellas. The portions are huge for everything but the salads are especially massive. You MUST try the tater tots. They are the best I've ever had. Perfectly crispy and golden, without being excessively greasy. If you get the sandwiches or burgers, you can sub out the fries for free. Solid lunch spot right in the heart of the Sand Hill area. Limited menu of farm to table options. The service was okay and the ambiance was nice. Great revamp of the previous Quadras Cafe (miss that Juan's gluten free pizza though)... Beautifully updated, outdoor seating, solid menu choices. Parking can be a challenge, so leave a little extra time to drive around the business park (or go during "off hours"). We got the fried chicken sandwich which was crazy generous, the schnitzel (again, huge!) and a side of fries, which I agree with others were the bomb. The prices are typical to MP dining. Service was a tad slow, but the staff were super friendly and accommodating when you got their attention. Laid back vibes, mostly retired and work folks for the lunch crowd. All in all a SOLID place to enjoy lunch indoor or outdoor. The food is really good. We surprised because they have big serving. I love that they have unique dish as well that's really tasty. The place is tucked in in a quiet and relaxing location that you would get lost if it'll be your first time. I love the design of the whole resto. The service is good as well. Oh one more thing! The servers weren't very attentive but that didn't bother us at all because we were just there for a quick meal. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. To be quite honest, we almost left because we thought it was an office place cafeteria/cafe. But we stuck around and I'm glad that we did. I had the bodega 2.0 with chicken apple sausage, my husband had the "pho"-rench dip, and we shared a miso tahini cookie. Everything was super flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The French Dip was our favorite here. We really miss it a lot! The chicken sandwiches, on the other hand, tend to be on the dry side. I'm a huge fan. Sandhill Kitchen is a true gem. It's such a perfect oasis, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown PA and the commute life! I love the peace and quiet of their space, the combination of sun and shade / outdoor and indoor seating, the healthy and equally tasty menu. I love their use of ingredients and volume. I have yet to try a dish I didn't like. This week, the special was a delicious Dungeness Crab Sando with a side of chips or fries. I've also had the fried chicken as a salad add-on which was a brilliant choice! And their gigantic Tahini Miso Cookie came highly recommended and did not disappoint. I love the ambiance inside as well, and it was super cozy when I last came in the fall. Can't wait to come back! The bathroom is also clean and welcoming. Overall a great place for a casual lunch with your friends, coworkers, parents (the bathroom litmus test passes!), or self. I also noticed that they can seat a big group as well. This place is a hidden cafe/ restaurant off of sandhill road in a business parkway. I frequent this place for their miso tahini cookies because they're so good. Their food is also good depending on what you get. I usually just get their burger. The fries here are pretty dang delicious too. Something about the small sides, they're all delicious. I had the Bodega sandwich which had this in-house made sourdough English muffin, herb aioli, cheddar cheese, arugula, and egg. This place is SO good and I'm surprised it hasn't gotten super crowded yet. I like to come for the fried chicken sandwich -- the chicken is super tender with a crispy exterior. The sandwich also has a sweet sauce (hot honey) that pairs perfectly with the chicken. The fries they have also have a nice seasoning on them. Even though we've lived nearby we finally discovered this gem on sandhill road. The outdoor seating with water fountain was very nice n cozy. Our waitress was very friendly n informative. We had a party of 3, my sister n I shared a salad which they divided for us and we still couldn't eat it all, portion was large. Found this place when I was googling nearby restaurants opened early. When I arrived I was told the kitchen opens at 8 am but I could order coffee and pastries. I would say overall my meal was a 4/5 but the service was excellent and attentive. My latte was great! It came a rock candy stir stick and cute latte art. The kouign amann was high quality but it was sitting around at room temperature, so it was uncrispy and a little soggy from the filling: it could be so much better if they would warm them. I ordered the Josie Chop Salad with chicken and I think other salads would taste better just from the combination of ingredients: The organo dressing was mostly sour, which didn't add much when the pickled peppers were already there. We both ordered the club sandwich with fries and the chef did add their spin to the sandwich but only in the most approved way. It came on ciabatta and the guac was not an extra charge.
