This review is for the online process and customer service. Like other reviews here, their customer service is terrible. Ordered a pair of shoes and it had an issue with the lettering on the insoles. 2 of the letters fell off after trying the shoe on and they will not take it back. So if there's anything more serious with your shoe, well you're out of luck. Instead of being able to return the shoes, they told me to contact the manufacturer. Any other store I've been to or shopped online would have taken the shoe back and not place that problem on the customer. You also have to pay for your own returns, and if they don't accept that return, you have to pay for it to be shipped back. Glad I didn't return it without emailing first. Will never shop in the store or on their site again. read more

I'd be wary of any positive reviews. As what other people are saying, their customer service is horrendous and you may or may not get your item. I pre-ordered something from them. Received NO shipping notification and was out of town when it arrived. Unfortunately, their paranoia required a signature for the item, which again was never stated when the item was bought, and there was only ONE delivery attempt before it sat at the UPS store for a week and eventually returned back to the sender. Had Bait done BASIC customer service, they would have sent a shipping notification so I could have arranged to either have someone sign for it or pick it up. Worse yet? They offered to ship to me again for an additional $10... on what was a $400 item. At that point I'd prefer not to do business with such incompetent people that even a community college student in a Business 101 class would have addressed better. Good luck if you order from them! Ever since I saw BAIT at San Diego comic-con years ago and saw the cool collaboration they did on the creative rec/ sponge bob shoes I knew I had to visit this place. I never knew where Diamond Bar was so I was more than happy to see they have expanded everywhere including San Diego! It been years and yet even in my own city I still hadn't been. Well luck has it I had to be in the Fullerton/Brea area for work there was no way I could not finally go to BAIT! I went to the one in Orange first because it was near another store I needed to visit. Nothing amazing there but it is small so I didn't expect the coolest stuff to be there. Ended up just picking up a Joker suicide squad pop figure and a couple key chains . Finally said f*** it we going to Diamond Bar! Luckily it was birthday and my fiancé said if I wanna go to 2 BAIT stores in one day then you do it! Hell yeahhh! Anyways I get to the store and it's everything I wanted and more! I ended up picking up a pair of Adidas tubular which I had been eyeing for a while, a pair of BAIT socks, and my lady got me a sweet BAIT SnapBack. The guys working were cool and didn't seem to mind I was taking my time looking at everything they had which is great because I looked at all of it! This is not for the actual store but for the online order process. I order 4 pairs of shoes and have yet to receive my product. I contacted customer service and was told that they had A lot of orders and that processing and shipping would be delayed to about a couple of days. A week goes by and I hear nothing from them. I contact customer service again and basically was told that I would need to wait another week or 2 before receiving a tracking number and if I have any further questions to email vip@baitme.com . Now I'm pissed because your website says 2 days for processing and I understand the first delay but now you want me to wait again. This is just ridiculous and why do I have to keep emailing your company for a status update when you should be contacting me the customer who has PAID for the items. I am pissed and this is worst customer service ever. Still don't have my shoes and haven't received a response from the other email. I am now at the point of canceling my order and/or contacting my bank and citing fraud because this is just flippant ridiculous read more

The staff is really nice and you can tell the owner is truly passionate about what he does. I'm only signing up to clear up these guys names. I've been looking for a pair of Ultraboost 3.0s and these guys had them on their site. I was a little worried because of the bad reviews I was reading here including bad shipping practices, fakes, etc. I bit the bullet and ordered them off their website baitme.com. The shoes came in quick, doubled box, the box was completely unharmed. Shoes were good. everything was solid. Had no issues. If you guys are looking for shoes. Really Recommend them. Maybe they had some bad practices before, but they dont see to have those issues now. Give them another chance, they deserve it. read more

SHADY PRACTICE! This company posted on Instagram that they are going to sell the Adidas Hypebeast Ultraboost shoe online on 12/19. A lot of people waited all day and refreshed the web page to see when it was going to be posted. It was never posted and BAIT now tells everyone its sold out. Most likely they backdoored the shoe to their own employees. That's so messed up to do that to your customers. Now they plan to sell those shoes at triple the price ($600). I'm sorry, but if you tell your customers you'll post the shoe on 12/19 and won't provide a time then turn around and tell everyone its sold out is F-Up. You just lost a loyal customer. Everyone should call Adidas and let them know what transpired. read more

Horrible experience. I had called 2 weeks ago to ask if they have the Women's Adidas Tubular Defiant white shoes in their location as Diamond Bar previously mentioned that they did and when they answered, they actually said they did have them. I asked if they could transfer to Diamond Bar, the girl said yes, I left my info and all that shit. I was so excited but I was willing to wait until next week for me to pick them up. I waited. Called every 2-3 days to check and they said yes it will be transferred on Wednesday because that is when the truck comes to pick up merch whatever. So I waited again. I waited a whole week and called again and the guy said it was already picked up but it won't get to DB until Thursday this week. I call today, Friday. After TWO FCKNG WEEKS, I call AGAIN only for the girl to say "oh we've left you messages before saying that we didn't actually have it. It turned out to be the wrong color shoes in the box." I NEVER NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER received ANY NOT EVEN ONE voicemail or e-mail from them. LAZY INCOMPETENT LIAR! Waited over three weeks for delivery, having to call and email to get any updates (they ignored the email and gave wrong info over phone) only to find out the day before delivery that they didn't have one of the items in stock. Bait is honestly a really cool store. They always have the best inventory, best sales, and just an overall clean look. It is very unfortunate that their customer service does not match their appearance. Today, November 25, 2018, I entered a raffle for a shoe and the guy working there forgot to give me a ticket. Some other guy nearly walked out with my ticket if I didn't speak up and tell him that he never gave me a ticket (keep in mind that this was my first raffle for a show so I didn't know how things were run). I let that go since we all make mistakes every now and then. I then proceeded to make a purchase of $52 because there was a deal where if you make a $50+ purchase you get an extra entry in the raffle. The guy told me what to do and I asked if I needed anything else, specifically another ticket. He said no and I left. Something just felt off about that so later I gave them a call. This time the lady that was working there that night picked up. I asked her about it and she told me that I was supposed to take another ticket. I was frustrated about that but luckily the lady helped me straighten things out and I was able to get my second code/ticket through the phone. The lady that was working there that night showcased exemplary customer service but unfortunately the guy that was working there that night did not. read more

(Online Ordering) Just echoing everyone else about the online purchase option. I ordered the new black panther watch and a few moments later received an email asking for more personal information than my local bank or government office. I called and asked about why they needed so much information? They said, Oh you can just provide a copy of the CC, and you can draw a line through the numbers. Fine, I yielded and did that. Few moments later, received another email. They wanted more. Called again, well send in a utility bill, with address. Annoyed, but fine, sent it in. Few moments later another email forcing the issue for photo id? Called in again and they ignore the fact that their initial email doesn't require all of this information, but want my photo ID. It is too much invasion of my privacy. If you were really concerned call and verify the purchase with the cc company. GAH, so unnecessarily frustrating. Order canceled...refund takes 2-3days. Folks! Let me tell You about BAIT! Just recently, during the 2013 NewYorkComicCon, I received the Most Outstanding HELP from BAIT's staff! If you know anything about how these Comic (and 'Art Toy') Conventions go, it can be nearly impossible to acquire a limited edition piece that is being offered at the Convention. It's also the WORST Time to be trying to Contact the people you need to speak with to achieve your goal. These Conventions require the time (and Overtime) of not only every employee you have, but also the help of anyone you can get to help you. "Convention Venue Staff" are Notorious for making Logistics at these events much more complicated than necessary and it can take all of your own staff to jump those hurdles During NYCC, not only was I able to speak with staff that I needed to reach, but they ANSWERED the Phone WHILE they were having an In-Store "Artist's" Event! THAT in itself is something So Unusual it warrants me taking the time to tell you so! I don't see how you can go wrong doing business with THESE FINE PEOPLE! read more
