My partner and I have been coming to this card shop about every other week since he got really into Lorcana, and we've had a great experience every time. They have a really good selection of Lorcana cards and booster boxes, and the staff is always kind, patient, and helpful. Since we're still pretty new to collecting, we've asked a lot of questions, and they've been great about giving recommendations on what is worth buying and what we probably don't need to spend money on. I really appreciate that they're helpful without making you feel pressured to buy something. They also run tournaments during the week and on weekends for different card games, so it seems like a great place if you're looking for more of a community rather than just somewhere to buy cards. As someone who wasn't originally into trading cards, I did feel a little out of place at first since there usually aren't many women in the shop, but everyone has always been welcoming. Now that I'm getting into Pokémon cards myself, I actually enjoy coming here too! Parking has always been easy for us with plenty of spaces available. As soon as I walked in, I noticed it was pretty busy, but the store was bright, clean, and welcoming. There were people all around playing matches, which was really cool to see and gave the place a great atmosphere. The checkout counter was located toward the back of the store. I wanted to ask about some Final Fantasy booster packs, so I waited at the counter to speak with an employee. There was an Asian guy wearing a cap, glasses, and a purple jacket working behind the counter. I stood there for about 15-20 minutes waiting to be helped. During that time, I wasn't acknowledged once, even though he was quick to chat with people he seemed to know and assist other customers. After waiting that long without even a simple "I'll be with you in a moment," I left with a bad taste in my mouth. Came here on a random day - happened to be the One Piece release day - just to pick up a gift for a friend. We were treated pretty badly by a dude in glasses and heather grey hoodie. He brushed us off and he looked annoyed that we didn't know what we were doing. I mean, yes, we didn't know what we were doing, because we're not in the realm of card games. We're just picking up a gift. When we tried getting a card binder that didn't have a price, he didn't even know what price the binder was so he had to ask. Then when we grabbed a less expensive one, he was like "that ones for top loaders." We didn't know what that was so when we asked, he seemed very annoyed. We went to go grab a different one real quick and got sent to the back of the line. Very poor taste left in our mouth, probably will end up going to a different card shop in the future. read more

Wanted to give this place a try since it was nearby. My experience at this card shop really made me think about where I should spend my time and money because the atmosphere. I wasn't sure if this meeple place is also affiliated with the meeple family in Anaheim, but it was the complete opposite. There was a gentleman with glasses and a purple jacket on behind the counter and he looked and acted so annoyed. There was also a tournament happening at the same time so I get that it was busy, but would you think that an employee would tell you that they'd be right with you or ask if you needed help finding something or even just acknowledging that I was there. Literally stood in front of the register for above 15 minutes hoping someone would assist me because I just wanted to know a price of a booster box or a commander deck but got no respond, no acknowledge, just felt like I was a bother or a waste of space. My only feedback is regarding the store hours. I've stopped by multiple times on weekdays right at the posted 5:00 PM opening time and found the store wasn't open yet. Since the shop already operates on limited hours, it would be greatly appreciated if the listed opening times were followed more consistently. It would make planning visits much easier for customers who are trying to stop by after work. I have been wanted to support local card shop. But I had a very disappointing experience here. I purchased a card that was priced and sold as near mint, but when I got back home and looked at it more carefully later, it had noticeable edge damage on the back, that you can only see with contrasty background. When I tell that to the store, they refused to offer an exchange or refund. But they said they can buy back at only about 70% of the market value for the damaged condition, which is far below what I originally paid for it as a near mint card. On top of that, the staff there are completely unhinged. They were on their phones and laptops most of the time and barely paying attention to customers. Whenever we asked for a price or to look at a card, they acted annoyed, as if helping customers was somehow too much to ask. If they don't want us to ask price, better put a price label on each!! Overall, if you enjoy getting ripped off and never coming back, this is the perfect place. Otherwise, go to another card shop. read more

Great customer service and highly competitive pricing. The shop carries modern and vintage Pokemon, One Piece, Union Arena, Star Wars, YuGiOh, and other major TCG games. They're now located on the ground floor. They recently moved from the 2nd floor around Thanksgiving. The new space is bigger and they have ample seating to host tournaments. I've visited this shop a handful of times whenever I'm in the area. I always end up spending much more money than I plan on (in a good way), just because I feel like I'm always walking out with a good or fair deal. I can't tell you how many times I go to a shop or a vendor at Franks & Sons where they want to hold firm above market prices, so I end up walking away not spending a dime on them. So many vendors don't realize they're losing good customers over short-sighted behavior. On the other hand, since Harrison is always game to work out a deal with me, I always feel encouraged to buy way more product every single time. If you're a customer that likes to negotiate, please do so tastefully. Don't be cheap. read more

.Worst experience Ive ever had. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! I preordered 12 booster bundles back in July. We are almost in December and have still not received the order. They blamed it on their supplier and distributor, and did nothing to resolve the issue except offer me a refund. When I tried to offer a solution to meet them halfway, they refunded me the money without asking me if thats what I wanted to do. I paid 24$ for 12 boxes that now are selling for over $40 each. By far the best shop I've been to date. My brother initially got me into Pokémon TCG and I didn't really have much experience with it, but the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I've also recently been getting into One Piece and Lorcana and not only were they helpful with their knowledge on the product they sell but they offer better pricing than anywhere else I have seen in the area. They also host in house tournaments, and there is plenty of space on the inside for them to take place. So far, I have been to the Yu-Gi-Oh, and One Piece tournaments as a spectator and had a blast watching everyone play, and just enjoying the atmosphere of the shop, I hopefully plan on playing here soon! They are almost always fully stocked on almost all new products, and offer amazing pricing, honestly you couldn't possibly ask for more.
