Rich was super helpful in showing me all the options and was just patient with me asking a bunch of questions and wanting to just stare at my options. They are located in a nice shopping mall with plenty of parking. A good place to find a little bit of everything from vintage cards to new cards and everything in between I've been searching for a specific Don Drysdale card for a project I'm working on and they had it , at a great price too. Rich was also kind enough to gift me a sleeve of their own penny sleeves which are very nice. Was excited to grab some wax for rip night. Stopped by ok my way home from work. When I arrived and noticed their prices are $10 higher for a basic blaster box. Then I was informed by Rich that I have to wait another hour for the 10% off rip night deals. I've spent thousands in this store and was told I'd need to come back. I told him "that's okay the prices are too high anyways". He responded "you don't have to come back". I replied "no problem" then on the way out the door was told to "kick rocks" by Rich. Pretty disappointed that he would act like this when I've been a loyal customer for years. Guess I'll be buying my wax elsewhere. read more

I am running to you all with this 5-star recommendation. The owner is the NICEST guy and made us newbie collectors feel so welcomed to the Pokemon community. My daughters just started collecting, and it was just the most pleasant no-pressure and fun experience. They have boxes of individual cards starting at just .25 that the girls could scan through to start to build their collection. We only got a few today but we will for sure be back. They also have unopened boxes and packs lining the walls and rarer cards under the glass for the more experienced collector to peruse, but for everyone to admire! Solid selection on sports & pokemon cards. they have tables & free water for you while you browse through their bulk boxes while watching a sports game going on. My son received a baseball card through Little League and wanted to collect more, so we went to Target--but they were all sold out. Someone there recommended this shop, and we're so glad they did. When we stopped by today, the staff welcomed us warmly and took the time to explain all kinds of baseball cards. Even another customer nearby joined in, opened a pack, and gave my son cards. He was absolutely thrilled. It was his first time visiting a card shop, and it turned into such a fun and memorable experience. I gave a call prior to arriving to the shop to sell my cards and the moment I arrive he told me he can't give me cash because he just gave cash to another person who arrived before me. Like why say you'll buy cars if you got no money. A white gentlemen felt worker or owner or not, felt insulted for not knowing his product selling $300 plus hobby boxes that I had question regarding since he gave me a trade option only and I asked some advice on new sports cards and disregarded me calling me out for insulting out of my ass like what? Take ur business elsewhere because that kind of service is horrible and I felt racially profiled by his attitude. Horrible customer service. Didn't seem to care at all for the shop and ripping off customers for 50% on cards just cause it came out 2 weeks ago. I would rather go to a card show or a vendor who pays a higher percentage for cards than deal with this shits show. read more

This card shop is on the way down. Rich(the so called owner) or soon to be as he stated will get mad and act rude when you don't accept his low ball offers. I brought in around 7 Shohei Ohtani rookie cards which are liquid cards and he proceeded to low ball offers me by $100-$150. He then proceeded to verbally abuse me in front of other customers when I didn't accept the low offer and told me he didn't want my business and to leave the store.I have been coming to this shop since it opened and only had problems with Rich, the other employee Josh was always a cool guy to deal with. I ran into Josh recently and let him know what happened and he let me know that he acts this way with other customers and the worst part is he treats kids the same way when they don't accept his low offers and tells the kids that they are wasting his time. It's like dude you sit in a chair checking comps that is your job. You get paid to do that. He will swear to you he is a card guru and has been doing this for years. This is a plea to the real owner of Hobby Legends....get rid of Rich before he drives this shop to the ground. read more

My favorite card shop! So clean and bright! Great selection of wax and singles, great pricing. The rewards program is awesome but the best thing are the guys who work there. Last year one of my son's went through a bone marrow transplant and the only thing that made him feel better in the hospital was opening cards- I bought many boxes from them over a six month period. They were always so kind, always asked me how Carter was doing and even gave me some cool gifts to pass along to him (Mike Trout bobble head was awesome). The icing on the cake is that we have had the best luck with the packs and boxes we buy from Hobby Legends. Just a few days ago we pulled three 1/1 cards from three different products. Owner was so hostile for no reason. My friend and I didn't get there in time for the tournament so I didn't mind just looking around and buying singles, but when I went to buy my singles he gave me such an insane amount of attitude for no reason. He asked me if I wanted to create an account for their rewards, I had no interest in doing that so quickly declined. Then he began to give me even more attitude and told me that I would have had my purchase for free if I signed up. It was a cheap purchase so it wasn't the end of the world for me but he was just so hostile for no reason it left a bad taste in my mouth. The saving grace for this review was another worker there who was kind enough to let us have a promo card and talk to us, even if we weren't going to buy anything or participate in the tournament he treated us with so much kindness it really made up for the sour owner. read more

Amidst all of the current Pokémon chaos, you can definitely rely on this shop to have enough stock to fuel your hobby. My buddy and I came in to this shop for the first time ever today and were immediately greeted by Rich and Josh. They introduced themselves to us and made sure that our needs were tended to. I cannot emphasize enough how spectacular their customer service is. The shop was stocked with plenty of products ranging from singles, packs, to even slabs. As far as I could tell, almost all of their products line up with market pricing. The prices are as fair as you could get with those things. After selecting a couple of products, Rich eagerly led us to the cashier to pay for our products. Before my buddy and I left the door, Rich gave each of us a pack of penny sleeves on the house as a "welcoming gift". All in all, I cannot stress how great my experience was at Hobby Legends today. So I recently came into hobby legends with my girlfriend and 10 year old child so that he could purchase some pokemon cards, and upon entering I had said hello to "Rich" and upon doing so he so rudely told me that I was 86'd due to a review that I had previously left on here for the business, which mind you is completely 100% illegal to do, and not only did he say I wasn't allowed in the store but he told my 10 year old child he was not allowed in there just based on the simple fact that he is associated with me, and on top of all that he then told me that me or any of my "crew" are not allowed in the store. All this because of a review that I left that in no way was any kind of slandering or talking bad about anyone, just simply stating my opinion based on the service i received at that day in time, which if I'm not mistaken, that is exactly what "Yelp" is for, so that people can voice their opinions based on the experience they had at said business. read more

My son loved this store! He started collecting Pokemon cards when he was 8 and he's now 12. His collection is big but not all cards are in the best condition. Everyone was super patient with him, thank you for making his first "sale" a great experience. I just recently got into pokemon cards and collecting them. I found a lot from when I was little so I brought them in and the workers were super nice and helpful when going through them. I bought a few cards from them and talk to them about trading. I honestly don't know anything about buying, trading, value of any card yet the workers were very nice and knowledgeable when it came to all of it.
