The fellow at the counter was SO PATIENT as I asked him to dig through all their bulk. I came with an ordered list to make his search as easy as possible, but the cards are spread out across 10 different expansions, so he did have to do quite a bit of digging. At no point did he seem frustrated, even though there were other customers waiting to be helped. We ended up striking 8 cards off our list, which was more than I expected! I was so surprised when it was only $9 for the lot - we would've had to pay about three times as much if we'd purchased them through ebay.

Nothing like Game Stop actually lol My husband is familiar with Warhammar. This is a totally new concept to me though! Warhammar is a hobby that involves creating models to build your army. At least, that is my takeaway from talking to the employee. He was explaining to us how it works. So, you buy the miniature pieces and then you can pain them however you want. Then you add the miniatures together to create your army. Your friends do the same process, and then you "battle" their army. It is pretty cool. The concept is cute but the establishment itself needs some help…read more I took about five minutes for my daughter to create her slime the store associate that helped us was friendly but I felt a little bit rushed because it seemed like she was the only one working and there was somebody waiting behind us to also make their slime. She put all of her items on the cart for us to mix it ourselves, and we headed over to the table for mixing. We sat down and my daughter started mixing and I noticed immediately it started staining her skin. Another mom I saw sitting with her daughter said that there was no bathrooms in there and that we could try to get it off with this half used bottle of hand sanitizer, which she was attempting, but that if I needed my slime or sticky to use this other bottle that was also on the table it would've been nice if there were a little bit more guidance on what we were doing and also a fair warning that this was gonna stain our skin despite us washing it at home about 30 times I originally considered this for my daughter's birthday party, but again after looking at some of the reviews and seeing how they double booked people which actually originally happened to us back in October and I booked in the lack of a clean space to wash our hands. There's no way I would book a party here and spend a couple hundred dollars. The fact that if we wanted to wash our hands, we had to walk down to the other end of the mall and go to a food court seems crazy. L&C told me that they will pay 2 cents for almost all circulated Lincoln cents, regardless of their condition (nearly uncirculated, for example). Buy they are selling Lincoln pennies that are much worse for $75. That's quite a mark-up, to buy at 2 cents and sell the same penny (or worse) for $75. The price that they charge for coins is excessive. They refuse to show pennies that they have for sale. Much could be seen in person that cannot be seen from pictures on their website. They say that it would violate their security protocols to show coins, and they said that they are not a museum, so they won't show coins. I would suggest that you don't try to sell coins at L&C. I would suggest that you don't try to buy coins at L&C. They are greedy and don't make fair appraisals. This begs the question, why are they endorsed by NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Company)? Surely this endorsement isn't deserved if they unfairly rate customer's coins and their own coins. Could that endorsement be based on knowledge? If so, the greed of L&C overpowered their sense of fairness. I think that L&C chose their "horse track" location to bilk coins out of down-on-their luck horse gamblers, who are forced to sell their coin collections and are too drunk to know when they are being low-balled. I have not tried other businesses, but I'm going to try their competitors instead. Perhaps: OC Rare Coins Southern California Coins Coin Corner American Coin Hallock Pawn (Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim). I would not suggest Lincoln Pawn, because they don't accept pennies (only silver), and pay 1/2 of the cost of silver content, and have rules against buying silver coins based on the value of the coin unless they are certified and graded. Currently, Ebay is the best place that I know of to buy and sell coins. Some websites claim that L&C coin has an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB). However, the BBB claims that they are not listed on their website, and therefore don't have a BBB rating.

We, as a family, did our best to organize, sort, and hopefully price out a large chunk of the collection as we don't consider these coins sentimental enough to keep (nor do we have the room). After visiting multiple coin shops, online forums, pricing and collecting websites, we were still nervous about selling any part of the collection (the inherent nature of buying/selling is to always be sure on what you have, and what it's worth). I strolled into OC Rare Coin after placing a quick call letting them know my situation. I was greeted by the friendliest of people! I forget the gentleman's name there who is their Photographer, but he is an absolute joy. Granted there is usually a bit of a wait, given the small staff and high-volume industry, but that has never been a problem for me given the positive atmosphere and ease of non-currency related conversation. It was the first time that knowing I was a noobie didn't seem to be something i should to worry about. Finally I got my sit down with Dennis, he laid everything I brought out on a table, he explained exactly what he was looking for with each category, he showed me his pricing book as we went along, he informed me on what was worth it's weight it silver, what was collectible, the grades of things, etc. All in all he went miles out of his way to be clear, fair, and efficient. He encouraged me to seek appraisals elsewhere, and to do my research before making any decisions, which is normally unheard of in the coin industry. This was the first time I had left a coin store without feeling "maybe I just got taken advantage of", nope, not here. I left with knowledge, confidence, and honestly wishing I had more reason to return. Just an absolute joy to come here, and I look forward to returning.
