Super g is a gem for us in Los Angeles. Not only is it the only track in LA aside from OC tracks. It really has a huge selection of inventory on hand. I'm green in the hobby but I did do my due diligence and research before purchasing items with the staff. I know things can get hectic so do your research on their website. They have a rough blueprint on what things will be needed in the 1/10 scale drift buyers guide. Some small things and left out like a power lead to charge your batteries, so make sure to ask for that. Overall I have never got bad customer service. Took my son here for his first attempt at RC drift outside of his attempts at home with non-drift cars and drifting in driving games. The people at the counter were friendly and helpful. Almost all of the people there were male adults, but the atmosphere was welcoming and family-friendly, and sometimes female family members dropped by. My son rented an RC drift car with charged battery for $30. They said the battery may last about 45 minutes, but it ended up lasting an hour and a half! He then got a second battery for $10 and played another hour and a half. He had a great time! They have an impressive stock of cars and parts. There are two tracks--one for non-drift, and one for drift. The drift track was definitely the popular one with almost all customers there and only one or two at the other. Place was a little hard to find--no obvious signs, had to ask someone else. Entrance was at the corner of the building with subtle signage. read more

Went in first time ever getting into rc drifting keep in mind, so was expecting the community to be more chill which they're just whoever was working customer service that day was acting like a straight douche/scumbag to me off the bat whenever I asked him simple yes or no questions as well, and I also read into other reviews that showed the same type of treatment with the guests there before and it matched up to this very day they still have the same douchebag in the front and basically sounds like he hates his job or something even though they have wide selection of parts you'd expect them to know or could answer simples yes or no questions, regarding this the first time I went in the guy expected me to know about the $20 tires you have BUY to be able to get on to the track even though i had brand new yokomo p tile tires he instantly told me that I got to use the store brand tires in a rude way again , and a lipo bag (which was cool) but then I asked him do I need one he answered back with a snark remark about " Well are you going to be charging " in a rude tone expecting me to know this kind of stuff. read more

Second visit and had a great time! Took my dad to practice with our 1/28 scale RC cars. Glad they're open late since I work during the day--most shops and tracks aren't. The staff was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. They also have a great stock of parts, so I got my car running again. read more

Went on 4/27/25 to get a battery, asked the cashier a simple yes or no question just told me to go on the internet as if he couldn't answer it, showed him my battery said I needed one similar gave me one with wider bullet holes so my cables sit loose, I'm definitely not going to purchase the kit to convert to the correct ones from there. That dude is a straight scumbag. I remember other guys there were willing to help, the prick probably is miserable at his job or wants to gatekeep rc stuff. Weird and unprofessional, paid $80 for a battery that barely fits the connection literally showed him my old battery keep in mind....might just start going to rc ggt I'm sure customer service there is way better than the douche who was running shop Sunday. read more

my first time at super g was in jan of 2024 and my experience was pretty good. I can't remember the sales/customer rep there on my first visit but it wasn't bad. He greeted me and told me that I needed to use the PC to look up which car shell I wanted and i went on my way after my purchases. second experience was not so great, i went in to buy yokomo chassis. I also asked if they had any reved motors and he said yes, and i asked how's that motor and the second customer service rep gave me a blank stare and told me he never ran it before and i asked how much is it? and he said im not sure, all the prices are online. in my head im like damn, i felt like i wasnt suppose to ask that question. he told me he only run acuvance and i asked is there a difference? he said idk i never ran anything else. in my mind i'm asking myself, damn he giving me short replies and he seem annoyed. i told him i'm new to RC and there are some brands I never heard of and i just wanted to know but all good and he gave me a blank stare, and i said alright man ill just get what i need and bounce. so 3rd time is today, i went in with my daughter, i got greeted by one of the guys who i believe is the owner? Im not sure, and there was another guy that walked from the back who might be another owner? They didn't really show interest on wanting to help me. I came in to buy but they walked to the mini track and just started doing laps with their mini cars. im like damn okay so i waited and looked around. eventually someone came and asked if i needed help. his name is allen. cool person. we ended up talking about his mazda build, nice guy man, he told me his set up and everything. educated me on his build and what gyros and servos are good for his style and told me that he runs acuvance but he said there isn't much difference other than its just fancy electronics but it works well with futaba. he said with futaba transmitter, he can control everything. im liike damn i didnt know that, that is really good info. 3rd experience was a good one. hopefully allen will be there when i come again. allen deserves 5 star. read more

This place seems pretty cool, there was a ton of people and some really cool builds on the track, but they weren't beginner friendly. Came in with my bare YD-2S kit ready to spend 400+ dollars on full electronics. I waited in line and when it was my turn I explained to him that I was just starting out (with my bare YD-2s on the counter top) and wanted recommendations on which parts would be best for my build, he just told me that they were too busy and had other things to attend to. I have come to super g since I could remember and it has always been welcoming. The staff has been helpful when asked for help on projects. But there was a day where I needed help on a specific project I was excited about and didn't know what was recommended. So one staff let me know that he didn't know much about it but that his coworker could give me more information. So as that coworker came didn't seem interested to help since the beginning of our interaction. I didn't feel like my questions were answered I tried my best to continue communicating. That same staff did leave me with the staff member who stated didn't know much about my project. Proceeded to tell the staff something and left. So I didn't get the help I needed and proceeded to wait for a good 15 minutes with no answer. It was really disappointing as to I never had this experience before with the staff or environment. I did feel like I was put to the side and got forgotten. I hope at my next interaction it's better and doesn't happen again as I would say this location is home to me. I wanted to come give an update of who the staff member was goes by the name Jayson Wong. And seems like others have the same encounter of being selfish and careless with a big attitude. read more

If you've been to project g, then you know the guys there. It's impossible to not go there and not know everyone by first name. When Steve (owner?) told me he had opened a rc drift track, I bought a car immediately. He knows I love rc and let me tell you rc drift is about as much fun as I've had. Their new indoor track is about perfect. Nice slow hairpins for working on your lines and a high speed sweeper to show your stuff! Compressed air to clean off and they just built 4 new pit tables. Lastly Steve and the guys there are awesome. They will stop what they are doing to help you with your car or setup and will even let you drive their rc cars! They are in in for the sport and not just to sell you stuff. (But I dare you to not walk out of their shop with out wanting $120 worth of stuff!). read more

Love the track, I wish they would spray the track in the back with something slippery so I can drift without destroying my tires... and they need to be able to allow quadrocopters as long as it is over the track and the person can prove they can control it to get video of drifting rc cars! Great place to visit (shop) for your RC drift needs and once there you'll be tempted to hang out (indoor & outdoor tracks) so bring along your toys. You always get greeted when you arrive and the head honchos manning the fort are always eager to help you out and patient to talk, explain and/or advice you with any questions or problems you may have concerning your RC cars. Prices at the shop are very good and track fees are very, very low. One hour of fun on the track will get you well over your ($5 all day pass) money's worth.
