    Card showcases

My most recent experience was less than stellar. While it is nice that they have upgraded and expanded both their space and the products they carry (more bulk bins, more tcgs, etc), they are far more One Piece-heavy and appeal to "higher end collectors". They probably would take you more seriously if you're a guy looking like you'll drop your paycheck on product or one that would take 20+ minutes sorting out a trade. On their busy days, I would not recommend casual collectors to come as they will not even acknowledge you. If your experience was like mine, they will probably handle One Piece deals at the Pokemon corner and you won't even get to browse

ProjectCCG is a trading card store in Alhambra. There's limited street parking. It's near plazas with plenty of restaurants/stores - I parked at one of the nearby plaza lots and walked over. One of the most exciting things in the store is the rare and graded Pokémon card wall display. Some are around $20-$50, others are in the hundreds price range. I personally loved seeing all the grade 10 full arts and the early edition cards. There's also many boxes of regular Pokémon cards to look through. It's $1 for 10 cards. They also havedisplays of non graded full arts and rare cards for sale, ranging from $1-$20 per card (you'd ask the staff for exact pricing). The staff is friendly and ready to assist when help is needed. Overall, I was very impressed by this card shop. I will definitely be back in the future.

Been here a few times before, and all times I could say the staff has never been attentive until you are basically hovering over the counter. I literally was next in line and the worker, immediately gets on his phone for a good minute, while I'm standing RIGHT there. Today was pretty much the last time I'll be coming here due to them posting an Instagram story stating (1) OP-16 booster box per customer, and I see someone, more than likely a friend or regular, chatting it up with the people behind the counter, holding (2) OP-16 booster boxes with (1) on the sitting on the counter in front of him. This just isn't right. I'll more than likely never come here again and PSA to everyone, be aware of this horrible marketing caught by yours truly.

Came on a whim and the place was packed. They easily had 4 people behind the table to help people out with stuff. I was helped by two guys. One that showed me some Pokemon cards and the other for questions I had about Yu-gi-oh! cards. Everyone was pretty nice and very informative. They didn't belittle or make fun of me for being a novice on cards. They were just excited to use their knowledge and answer my questions! Prices of cards here varies. I wouldn't say their are cheap or expensive. Prices are based on the market value. I found myself spending about 30 bucks here. I'm sure people have spent much much more. With other shopping and art shows nearby, why not stop here?

Partner came for a one-piece tournament this weekend, and I have to say it is a pretty nice shop. Plenty of space, lots of tables, and a good amount of AC! I've been to so many shops where it is hot and humid and this was quite pleasant despite the large number of people! Also, major props for the girls' bathroom! It is so big, clean, and even had a scent diffuser! Big fan! Plus the shop owners are super nice!

I never knew this card game place existed just around the corner from Main Street. It was packed the evening I visited because there was a card tournament going on. There's never a dull moment in life because there is a hobby out there for everyone.

$250?!?? OVERPRICED BOOSTER BOX. Go to TCGPLAYER or support a different LGS

    Ask the Community - ProjectCCG

What time are the Yu-Gi-Oh! tournament on the weekends?

Saturday is 6:00-6:30 and can lag from 10:00-11:30 depending on the amount of people at the tournament.

Can you bring cards to trade?

Yes there are many players that trade at our store. Unfortunately we, the store, do not trade with the customer. BUT you can sell your cards for cash/store credit and use that money to buy stuff from the store. Let me know if you have any further…

They did have some Dragonball cards and other products, but it's mostly dominated by Pokemon and Yugioh.

Really Great Store and Hidden Gem I shopped in years every time I visit Los Angeles…read more Staff there is very down to earth and kind. But this store has a variety of selection such as Chogokins, Gunpla, Prize Figs, Construction Kits, Etc... Prices there are very reasonable too, honestly, I prefer going to this store compared to places like Jungle or Robot4Less due to price reasons. I would absolutely recommend this store for those who are in the hobby or starting to get into a hobby.

Hidden Gem Alert!…read more Attention hobbyists and gift givers: Neo Happyland might just be your new happy place. Circumstances brought me to this unique and fun store that is practically hidden on the first floor of what appeared to be an abandoned mall in Chinatown, the Bamboo Plaza. Had I not known about this store and its location before visiting, I probably would not have entered the plaza. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by Natalie one of the store owners. I then met with Alan, her husband and co-owner. Both were super personable, friendly and knowledgeable. I overheard them conversing about some of the products with other customers in the store. They really knew their product. The store was jampacked with products from floor to ceiling. I was overwhelmed with how much there was to see. There were so many different model kits to choose from (Pokemon, Bandai, Gundam, etc.). They also had figurines, model paint, books, stickers, Gundam decals, Book Nook and Wonderland items, Pokemon Mini Building Blocks, other building blocks, DVDs and other fun items. Everything was well stocked and neatly organized. I appreciated that most of the items were displayed behind glass so that you could see the actual product vs just looking at the picture on the box. Even though I am an adult, I felt like a kid in a candy store. I did not leave empty-handed. :) If you're looking for a wonderful brick and mortar hobby shop with Asian flair, I highly recommend this shop.
