Came by after a movie to check out a diaper bag. Should've been a 5 quick min trip as I knew what I wanted and just wanted to see the size in person. However, they locked the doors way before closing time so I wasn't able to do so. We've been interested in Nuna car seats and vista stroller so it would've been nice to find a one stop shop, but with customer service this bad this clearly isn't it. There were people shopping inside the store and workers who could clearly see us. I see that the other reviews about poor customer service were true. It's already a hassle parking at the paseo, so the location is not ideal. Obviously, we won't be back. read more

I was so excited to come to this because it's really the cutest store for todays modern baby. I bought my wonderfold wagon here along with the extra items. First hand the owner (older lady) was nice and let my child play with the push car while shopping I did come in with my two toddlers and a belly of 7 1/2 months. The 3 stars where really because of their lack of support to their customers they were only nice in the beginning because I was making a big purchase. They gave me a dolly or a roller thing to bring it in down from their store to the parking garage . The girl in the front desk was on her phone typing away and the lady went into the back never seen her after I paid. I had no help from them. Where is the common courtesy? Like why wouldn't they help ? . They didn't even open the door for me or nothing ! Honestly that's what bother me the most. So make sure you bring your husbands this people won't help you bring nothing down nor hold the door open for you. As a store owner please do better it doesn't hurt to help. We're making big purchases nothing in your store is cheap. As SAHM this was my worst experience buying anything with my kids. read more

Love this place!! They have the cutest toys, blankets, bibs, and other baby accessories. They have copper pearl bibs and burp cloth. Online it's hard to buy them individually but, they sell them individually here! Yayee I love the copper pearl line. They also have the lou lou lollipops teething tools which are super cool. Lots of other baby stuff for showering (tubs and soap), educational toys, and strollers to test it out. The prices are reasonable. Cute place! Passed by on my way to pick up stuff from a friend in Pasadena, was killing time in the plaza when I saw this place. Adorable stuff! This is NOT the stuff you're going to be finding at Target, Babies R Us or typical kids' stores. Organic, healthy, no-chemical additives- they have tons of stuff for moms who do their research and know their stuff as well as just down-right ridiculously cute things. I mean, little backpacks with shark fins and bumble bee wings? Can't they make them in my size? I want to take one to work :( The store is huge for mom & pop and they definitely gear towards the detail oriented and loving. They have tons of designs and sets- if you like matching diaper bags to blankets to sippy cups...well, you could be here for a while! There's this really cute baby animal sippy cup that I almost swear no one at work would know is for infants and toddlers... Alas, the only downer was that they weren't completely ready yet! Grand opening is on 23rd..? (I think.) They were cash only when I was there because the credit card machine was down. (Good thing, or I would have bankrupted myself buying CUTE ADORABLE THINGS. o__o) I love the innovative things they have that make you go "...what the heck, why didn't I think of that??" There's a portable baby seat you can take places that folds up tiny but clamps securly to table so you can plop that little bundle of joy and 2AM feedings down in. There's a gazzillion feeding accessories and bags to carry them in and gadgets and knick knacks. Accccck, I love cutesy stores like this where you keep grabbing stuff off the shelves! If you're in the Paseo Colorado shopping area or anywhere close, you have to come check things out. They offer a wide variety of high end brands and also a lot of seemingly "small business" items. Adorable! The store is clean and well organized and doesn't feel cluttered at all. I feel like every baby boutique I go has the mentality of "how many items can I squeeeeeeeeze into this store?" Not Buttercup. Yes, it's pricey. But if you have the budget for it, go here. It's a super nice store with super friendly staff. Ended up getting a stroller, infant car seat, and a converter here. And I was definitely tempted to buy EVERYTHING, but I was able to contain myself. They sell things like gliders, baby tupperware, shoes, toys, etc. A lot of it is eco-friendly and super baby safe. So it's a great place to buy stuff for baby showers if you want to be unique. ALSO, please take advantage of the awesome employees. We came in knowing what we wanted to look at... but had tons of questions and, given that we're first time parents, more than a bit of apprehension about making the right choice. Michael was super knowledgable. And patient. He walked us through options and demoed the strollers and car seat, let us take them for a spin just outside the store to see how they felt on less even terrain, and even went above and beyond to work out getting us the color we wanted for the car seat without having to wait. I come into Buttercup every time I stop at the mall. Do I need to buy baby stuff? No, but I love to ogle the expensive goodies and wish I still had a very little one. If you want to buy a great baby gift this is the perfect place, but be warned the wares are on the high end, expensive side. Lots of good, eco-friendly toys, high end shoes, and fancy strollers. They have some items that are hard to find in brick and mortar stores so that is a plus. I have purchased a few things here, namely feeding items like little reusable bags and cool, fun plates. Also, the handmade barrettes are super cute (Hello Kitty please!). Stop in here if you want to find a lovely and unique gift for a friend's shower or if you need something more substantial like a stroller or baby carrier. YOu won't be disappointed. read more
